My wife and I went here on the recommendation of some locals, and we absolutely loved it! All of the food tasted exactly like I would've wanted it to. The waitstaff was very nice and did a good job of explaining how the restaurant operates. The whole place has a cool, modern vibe that also feels a bit like a cultural experience. We aren't from Charlotte, but we can't wait to visit again and come back to this restaurant! They also do brunch, and they have $2 mimosas!

This place gets very busy! We went ahead and ate at the bar which was a great experience. Our bartender was attentive and had great suggestions for food and drinks. My fried rice was a bit overdone but everything was still great. We also got the curry dish, amazing. The roast duck baos were the bomb. Could’ve had 10 of those. Korean twice fried wings were also good. Overall good experience!

Went on a sunny and warm Friday, just before noon. We arrived and there were a handgul of occupied tables and bar seats. By the time we finished out meal, majority of the tables were occupied. Drinks were promptly served, along with food. The restaurant serves the food as it is ready, and we waited no more than 10 minutes for all 5 of our dishes to arrive. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere that is friendly for all ages. Lots of nearby parking. We paid $2.12 for two hours (2 is "the max"). When we were leaving the meter maid was out enforcing parking so if you plan to be here during peak time it is minimal cost. Yhe machine takes credit card and loose coins.The staff were incredibly friendly, great food, and awesome atmosphere, we'll definitely be returning.

The location and atmosphere are great. The food was flavorful and the service was good. But I could not give this place 5 stars because the value was not good. They do small portion Asian style “street food” but with full portion prices. Being from LA I get that trendy city locations need to charge higher prices but this was ridiculous. They need to increase their portions by at least 25% to justify the price. The food was flavorful but I wouldn’t recommend or return because of the value.

The food is quite very nice. CKT is nicely done with the wok smell. It can use some ABC sauce or caramel. Curry laska noodle is less laska and more curry, but nonetheless really tasty. The taste profile is closer Hainan curry noodle in Singapore.

Great atmosphere! The lights draw you in, the people are having a great time and you can hear it! The food smells grab you when you walk deep into the place. The music was nice and upbeat, very easy to converse with/over, positive flow! Food was AMAZING, bar hospitality was great, I will DEFINITELY be coming back!

Food was excellent. I recommend the Vietnamese coffee. Taylor was great- super fun personality; great music and great vibe. The manager was very nice came to table to ask how everything was- very personable. I highly recommend and I will be back.

I ordered the Chow Faan for lunch through Door Dash. My rice was undercooked, I had ONE shrimp, and the rest of my protein was over charred. I know ordering out is a roll of the dice, and sometimes the food is not good, but this dice was extremely expensive. I would have thought a $19 dish would warrant a little more effort. Take a look at the visual description of this dish online(Doordash) and check out my pictures below. I am disappointed AND not surprised. Update to my Review: After the owner reached out. I decided to take my daughter into the restaurant to taste the food on site. It was a lot better than takeout! I enjoyed the ambiance, and we tried many items. The food has a wonderful taste and doesn't take long to prepare. We met the owner and head chef, and they both were very pleasant. I will go again. My daughter enjoyed herself as well. The food tastes as wonderful as it looks! See below.

Amazing dim sum and noodle place! Stopped in for a late lunch and it was fabulous. We tried the mei fun noodles, bao buns, and spring rolls…all amazing. We did have one item that was accidentally delivered to another table but they quickly took it off our bill when we inquired. Also, found out we were there during happy hour when buns were half price. Fun surprise! All in all this place was great. Definitely going back soon!

SO GOOD!!! You have to get the roti it’s a MUST! The food is delicious with amazing flavor. They customer service is always on point and the service is quick. We ordered the lo mein no meat with extra broccoli, hawkers delight, side kimchi, C.K.T all dishes are pictured below. Give them a try and like this review if it helped. It’s very clean and the vibe is nice! They also have a bar for those who drink.

YUMMM! Just what i needed, flavors were so good wonderful outdoor seating our server, Shannon was super cool and helpful with menu items and suggestions! Can i take Hawkers back to Indiana with me!? Loved everything we got! 💖✨

I loved everything about eating here. The food was delicious! Our server's recommendations were on point. And the cocktails menu selection was creative and the perfect creations to go with the food. The doggy bags were the cutest I've ever seen. It made the food still edible when I arrived home. I would 100% recommend it and will 100% come back.

I’ll never understand how this place receives anything less than 5-star reviews. The flavors of the food are incredible, and ALL of the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I will make sure to eat here EVERY TIME I visit Charlotte. Incredible food and an incredible experience!

Hawkers is a small plate style restaurant with a mix of different types of Asian food. The vibe is super cute and the food was great. I had the chicken wok seared dumplings and the spring rolls, both were delicious. Our server Leelee was super friendly and happy to help us decide what to order and help my vegetarian friend find good options. I'd definitely come here again!

I'm new to the area, and first time visiting this restaurant. There was a wait, but we'll worth it. My friend and I had Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Shrimp Rolls, white wine, and 5-spice Old Fashioned. Both of us agreed, the best Pad Thai ever!!! The Shrimp Rolls were very good, the Spring Rolls- good. Drinks were good, but the Old Fashioned was missing a bit of the spice- however, I didn't say anything- so will try again. Extra note- sat at the bar since seats opened up there first- Carolina was a fantastic server. Will definitely return.

I have been passing this place non stop Ana finally decided to stop. I am so glad we did. We sat at the bar because the tables were packed. The bar tender was attentive and personable although he was slammed with service bar. I ordered the pain killer and my husband ordered the sake flight. The painkiller was in a cute glass and tasted great. I’m not a sake fan but he enjoyed it. The food was well prepared, flavorful, hot, and definitely a dining experience to remember. I will definitely be back and recommend here for everyone!

I absolutely love this place. They have done some changes that I fully approve of. Their wait times be crazy!! But we always sneak into the bar..lol🤣 There is always a mini blonde bartender there that is so amazing and real. Always takes great care of us. During the summer this is the SPOT! They have a great patio and it's right next to Jeni's ice cream. So that's smells on top of smells😛. Never disappointed when I come here. I always get the udon, pad thai, the roti, beef bulougi😋. Doesn't include drinks!

Great food, atmosphere and service! I went with family and everyone enjoyed their meal. We got a couple apps and drinks and everything with very tasty. Our waitress was very attentive and always had our waters filled. Recommend this place!! Also make sure you try the donuts for dessert, sooo delicious!!!

Thé atmosphère is wow.. specially the music! The service was 10/10 The waiter was very nice and answered every request. (Jay) I tried a lot of Asian dishes, this was very good and tasty !

This is the best of the best food I’ve ever had. Everything was beyond delicious, fresh, FULL of flavors. Highly recommend: Golden Wontons, Seoul Hot Chicken Baos, Korean Twice Fried Wings and the Roti Canai.

I absolutely love this place! We got the pad thai, chicken dumplings and duck bao buns. The chef brought us out bread with curry dipping sauce since it was our first time. Definitely will be coming back!

Hawkers was our date night while visiting Charlotte. It did not disappoint, between our amazing and attentive server Nate who provided amazing suggestions and guided us graciously through the menu experience we ended up with the best selection of small plates catered to our palette. I was so impressed by Nate when he politely asked if we had any food allergies that they needed to be aware of prior to preparing our meal. I would love to post photos of each plate but if I’m being honest it looked too good to wait for the photo and truly did not last long enough to even get a partial photo. Truly splendid establishment and even better service.

Amazing fast seating and the service was excellent! Everything is a must try but the bao buns delish! The atmosphere is completely energetic and decor transports you. We will definitely be back! Shout out to our amazing waitress Cat crazy busy night but she took amazing care of us.

The food was pretty good and loved the atmosphere and decor. The service was also great, they gave us dumplings on the house. Would definitely recommend the pad thai if you like spicy and the herbal fried rice if you're not a fan of spicy. The tofu was seasoned well but honestly would pass on the spring rolls.

This was such a great place to eat! The food was very delicious! I highly recommend the mai fun dish it comes with shrimp and chicken. It’s the prefect amount of spice and it was very delicious :) we came with the kids and even though they had a great time and the waitress gave us ideas what to order for kids, I wouldn’t recommend being kids. It’s a place where you would want to hang out with adult friends or just the adults. The service was amazing as well. It’s a very fun place. I would recommend checking it out for sure!

Amazing decor and set-up. Great concept by including all Asian cuisines. No pork on the menu, great for Muslims. All ages are welcomed and stay up late, very rare to find. I think the food is good not great. 6/10 But it is still worth it. A cool spot for sure.

Absolutely amazing. The vibe is perfect and the drinks were delicious. The portions are a little off as most things we ordered came in 5s and if you have 2/3/4 people it’s kind of strange to share. The wings were super crispy and PACKED with flavor. The dumplings didn’t really stand out for me but the noodles were perfectly flavored. We will definitely be back !

The vibe here is cool. Lots of good options even if you are vegetarian. Good choice of starters that you can share and the main dishes are filling. I tasted fish sauce in one of the dishes so you want to ask what the use if you don’t like the smell/taste is fish sauce.

We went here for dinner and hand a great experience. It was a Monday night and they were still very busy. There was a waitlist. The weather was nice so the windows and doors to the patio were open. Very nice atmosphere. The decor is super cool. The food and drinks (specifically Malaysian Mule) was great. We recommend the curry. It’s delicious! Our server, Alexa, was very nice and attentive!

Hawkers is definitely one of the best restaurants in Charlotte. My girlfriend and I have been to the location in Jacksonville, and this location in Charlotte is just as lovely. Our waiter Austin was incredibly friendly and professional. The shrimp summer rolls were delicious as well as the tiger’s tail cocktail! Definitely recommend if you enjoy Asian fusion foods.
