On August 8th 2020, We were the the very fortunate first couple to be married at the Victorian Cottage and Gazebo. Alison and her team were nothing short of Awesome, they helped us take care of everything. From changing the seating from the ceremony to the reception , provided sound during the ceremony and after, set the centerpieces. We didn’t have to worry about much that day, it was a perfect day at a perfect setting. It comfortably suited our gathering of 40 people with room to spare. We can’t say enough about them and how grateful we were to be the first couple.

Cute place. They have a sign outside reminding people masks are mandatory. They do not enforce this. They had so many people in there tonight for the Xmas event and half of them without masks. Thanks lombard historical society for contributing to never ending pandemic 👍but I guess what else would i expect from a museum that celebrates 1800s colonizers without a mention of the destruction of native people, culture and land

Really coming into its own with a remodel of the old shed. Amazing how many DuPage town founders names show up in the displays.

This museum and gift shop are behind the old house. They told me that they just comlleted a big remodel and they are still adding exhibits. I can't wait to go back when they get some more history in the carriage house.

As a history buff, I thoroughly enjoyed touring this restored Victorian cottage. The tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the house and Lombard. Built in 1883, the cottage functioned as a rental house for many years. Although the artifacts and furnishings aren't original to the house, they well represent what middle class Victorians valued. The carriage house displays more artifacts pertaining to Lombard history. I bought a lilac-scented bar of soap at the gift shop. Will definitely be back!
