GREAT KITCHEN STORE! Poor coffee shop. Five star customer service, three star cup of coffee, 2 star prices ($8.15 for a 12oz latte). If you want to shop for kitchen gadgets instead of a nice place to drink a cup of coffee this store will be for you. The atmosphere felt a little cluttered with all the kitchen stuff. However, they do have a wide variety of selection!

We just left the sale at Kitchen Engine and can’t wait to use our new kitchen items when we get home. We purchased wedding and Christmas gifts as well. We are so fortunate to have this wonderful store in Spokane. The staff is amazing and makes you feel like family. The selection of cookware, electrical appliances and kitchen gadgets are plentiful. If you have not been to Kitchen Engine, you are missing out!

This place has great classes and products! We went to a pasta making class and the chef was amazing and we will be scheduling another class here soon! Highly recommend this place for their experiences!

Thank you to the owner of Kitchen Engine who magically made my coffee maker work again (I had chosen to ignore the instructions about descaling!)...& cleaned it to boot! I totally appreciated this, & enjoying my coffee much more each each morning!

Everything you need for a gourmet kitchen and you can grab a quick snack and fantastic coffee while browsing for your next gadget! Their knife selection is the best in Spokane and I love their selection of boos blocks. The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Always a great shopping experience!

Kitchen Engine is hands down a 5 star store for kitchen essentials and kitchen fun. They've got everything you could need or want. Helpful staff and huge selection. One of my favorite shops in all of Spokane. They get four stars instead of five because they're closed on Saturday...I've fallen victim to that several times.

Great store. The prices were reasonable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. They didn't have exactly what I was looking for, but one of the staff spent a fair amount of time going over the options they had in stock. Will definitely be back.

I just drove to The Kitchen Engine from Newman Lake to support local. This business has changed and not for the better. No one was greeting when I came in. Made contact with several employees and no smiles were given except until the end of my trip by the girl at the cafe and the checker at the register. Dotty followed me all over the store like I was a shoplifter and made me feel uncomfortable. She did show me where to find the item I drove there for and then tried to make small talk that made her sound like she was talking to someone 15 years my junior. I recommend going to Coeur d’Alene to The Culinary Store. They are always quick to greet and kind there. The kitchen Engine has gone downhill when it comes to customer service don’t waste your time. Edit changed to 4 stars - Thank you Eric for the acknowledgment. I really appreciate the apology. This shows that you really care about your customers. You also have quite the support out here in Newman Lake as I also posted on the community Facebook page.

What an incredible kitchen store, packed with quality kitchen merchandise. From knives to blenders to slices, you’ll find everything you need for your culinary lifestyle. Excellent customer service as well! This is my 18 year old daughter’s favorite store. Come check it out- you won’t be disappointed!

Very helpful staff and premium selection of kitchen tools priced appropriately. Nice selection of infused cooking oils and a few sweets too. Parking sucks in this part of town but that isn't something the store can control.

My sister just bought a house so my mom and I came here to get her some house warming gifts. Lots of great options and great prices. I found plenty of quirky things that I knew she would love, plus all the staples needed for a cook's kitchen. Will come back to update my own supplies!
