I'd previously called two other companies and didn't receive a call back. Derek was efficient and communicative to treat my tree within a day of calling him and coordinating with my property manager to minimise disruption to guests at my property. Thank you!

Derek is great! He trimmed up my maple tree and treated it and it looks the best it ever has. He also took down a dead pine at my father's house and cut it into rounds for him. I wasn't expecting him to move all of the rounds to his garage where he wanted them to dry. He also pruned a crab apple tree away from the roof of his house and it looks great! I am so glad we found him at the home show. We will be using him again and I will be passing his information on to others who need this type of work done.

We contacted Arborist Tree Service to look at our young trees and offer recommendations on trimming them. Derek who is an ISA Certified Arborist was professional and very knowledgeable about pruning and overall tree health. He provided us with a fair estimate before he left. I appreciated that greatly. The day of service he was prompt and he and his team did an excellent job of cleanup. I highly recommend Arborist Tree Service if you are looking for an expert. Derek is a certified arborist. I tried contacting others with no response. I did call Senske and while i use them for all other yard service their bid was 300 more. Very pleased with the ease of scheduling and the work they did. I would highly recommend them. I also appreciated his patience with all the questions i had about my pear tree.

Derek is top notch, extremely knowledgeable, and professional. We have now utilized his services on 3 separate occasions over the past few years. My spouse and I value quality and feel Derek offers the very best. I have always felt his quotes are fair and I know that we can expect a great outcome. Most arborist we have used gave the first answer to our tree problems ,cut it down. Most people who claim to be arborist should call them self’s lumberjacks. Derik is obviously a professionally trained arborist. He has the knowledge to help us with two trees that have fungus infections. He has always been on time. I appreciate this as I plan my day around when people are showing up. We would highly recommend Arborist Tree Service.

My husband and I have used Derek to treat our trees for several years now and he is fantastic! We live on 11 acres with several different varieties of trees that require good care and maintenance. He has brought back numerous trees that were infested with bugs and on the verge of dying and has helped maintain their health since. He is very fair with his pricing and doesn't price gouge us as many other companies would since we live in Elk, Washington and are a good 40 minute drive north of Spokane. Derek is very knowledgeable in his field and I've learned quite a bit about tree health from him over the years. His scheduling coordinator, Crystal, is very professional and always works hard to get Derek out to our property as soon as possible. You would be hard pressed to find anyone with more experience than Derek to care for your trees!

Derek came and pruned my two cherry trees this year and last and did a wonderful job both years. He left the area clear of debris and was responsive to questions and was able to get me in quickly! He diagnosed and treated my distressed tree showing gummosis. Hopefully I get cherries this year!

UPDATE: Derek immediately made contact with me after my initial review and the remainder of my communication was with him and he was VERY responsive, clear in his communication and was able to take a look at my trees within a couple days AND treated them for insects while there. The cost for the treatment was by far competitive and I was more than happy to use Derek, The Arborist. Thank you Derek for everything!! *************************************************************************** Unfortunately, I was never able to use this service due to the scheduling person being so terrible at communication. I had seen such great reviews and was excited to work with the arborist, but despite my efforts of starting the scheduling process in October 2020, Crystal was unable to provide ample communication and schedule things appropriately, then actually had the audacity to blame me for not receiving an email to reschedule. Completely disappointed that I didn’t have the opportunity to work with the person behind the company. Oh well, I’ve gone with a different company as a result of the issues with the scheduler.

Derek was very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose most of the issues my trees were having on site and that which he was unable, he researched and got back to me in a timely manner with answers. I have now used The Arborist on three different occasions. I have several properties and a list of professional contractors I trust and call on for help. I will be adding The Arborist to that list.

I tried several different companies to help me cut down a large, high cedar branch that was hanging over my main power line and only Arborist Tree Service was able to answer the call and help me take care of the issue. Derek came out within the week just to do an estimate but actually helped remove some of the branch on the spot! We agreed on a fair price and he was very friendly and easy to work with. Great service - will definitely not hesitate working with them on any of my future arborist needs!

I saw Derek’s ad on KREM. I was impressed with his professionalism with the first phone call. He was willing to travel to Ritzville to help me with the spruce trees and pine trees. Derek took his time to inspect each tree while explaining to me what he was looking for. I gained a lot of information but will still have Derek come back in the spring to do another inspection and treatment on our trees. I referred Derek to a couple of neighbors and they did business with him as well.

Derek and his crew did a excellent job of toping, pruning, and treating 3 mature Paper Birch trees that 7 other tree removal/treatment firms pronounced to infested with the birch bore beetle to be saved and suggested removal. It was obvious in speaking with Derek that he had a much better understanding of the problem and felt all 3 trees could be saved. Time will tell, but we are very happy with the service provided and we now have a better understanding of how to manage these trees and will be using Derek for future treatments of our birch trees, plus any other tree issues we have. We are thrilled we selected Arborist Tree Service and still have our trees to enjoy. Fair pricing and fast, friendly service. Highly recommended !

Derek came out to inspect our thuja plicata and red cedar trees that were dead or in the process of dying. He answered all of our questions and we had him spray the trees that we hope to save. He was very professional and courteous.

I called and asked about getting a tree sprayed. They came that same day and sprayed the trees!

Had some trees dying off. They came and worked their magic. I see life in them again. Very professional and friendly people. Would most definitely call them again for problems
