On Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, my family of four visited the Mongolian BBQ on Sprague for the first time. I love the Mongolian grill concept and have ate at several different restaurants specializing in this style throughout my lifetime. I really enjoyed our experience at Mongolian BBQ. The restaurant is clean and the employees extremely friendly and kind. An example of this was when my 1-year-old was making a mess by throwing rice all over the floor. My wife was frantically picking it up when our server came over and told us not to worry. But let’s get to the dining experience itself. If you go to HuHot, they offer an all-you-can-eat option and that is pretty much it. At Mongolian BBQ you can choose from different sizes on one-trip bowls that allow you to take leftovers home OR you can choose the all-you-can-eat option that does not allow you to take leftovers home. I appreciated the many different options. My wife and I each got the “Mighty Kahn” bowl (the medium-sized option) that turned out to be plenty. My 4-year-old and 1-year-old split the “Little Kahn” bowl (the small-sized option) but it was sold to us at a $5.99 children’s price. The buffet line, which was very organized and clean, had many great meats, veggies, and more. I liked how ham was an option. A little thing I thought was pretty cool was that the ladles for the sauces were large and easily accessible. Many other restaurants have small ladles that require you to do several pours. We got through the line in no time and it didn’t seem like it took the grill chefs forever to cook our food. I always top my bowl with peanuts (when available) and Mongolian BBQ offers whole peanuts which made me really happy. The food tasted great. The staff applied a 10% off expired coupon I obtained from the back of a supermarket receipt. Overall the dining experience was terrific and we will be back.

Ignore the Ase 2 star guy. THIS PLACE IS EPIC! Its culturally rich. It has a small mom and pop feel. They staff is complimentary and have a servant attitude. The food bar is organized with intention. Everywhere food touches is immaculate and they use wood to stir the food, which means the flavor is captured authentically.

Love this place! To go orders are huge! Very tasty.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The staff is always so incredibly friendly! won't wait long to be seated or receive your check. The food is always fresh and delicious. If you haven't eaten here give them a try. They are very good and reasonably priced!

I was pleasantly surprised at how clean, organized, quiet, and bright looking the restraurant was. The staff is incredibly pleasant, helpful and professional! They took the time to explain their procedure and they were very nice! The food is nicely presented and I found it to be better quality that the other Mongolian bbq grill i have been too. Very clean food area! Of course the food tasted great. I am definitely coming back here.

Excellent place. I had their biggest bowl option & boy was that a lot. They offer a box when you're finished, which not all Mongolian BBQ places do. My son enjoyed the leftovers & we look forward to returning as a family in the near future.

I always read reviews before I try a new restaurant. It's about a 50/50 on the scale of being a good place to eat. My husband and I ate here for lunch today and I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The food was so fresh, the place was so clean, the service was spot on and when it was all cooked up it was beyond amazing. It was sizzling hot, tasty, wonderful atmosphere. I recommend this place to anyone that loves stirfry/mongolian food.

It was our first time at this place and we loved it. The staff was very attentive unlike many other Mongolian BBQ spots. I love that they also have a take home option! You can definitely do all you can eat there or they have different sized bowls with corresponding price points and if you don’t finish that one bowl you are allowed to box it up and take it home! It does cost more than the all you can eat but I don’t know a h other place with this option. Oh and the food was great and everything looked fresh :)

This family-run restaurant is a wonderful place to have a stir fried meal customized exactly the way you like it! You choose the size bowl you want and fill it with everything you like of the veggies, fruits, meats, noodles, and sauces in the buffet. After you watch the chef stir fry it on the flat round grill and slide it into a fresh bowl you can sprinkle on a few more toppings. A bowl of rice is also brought to your table. The friendly staff has come to recognize us over the years and knows we like to eat our meal with chopsticks. I also love looking at the beautiful mural painted on an entire wall of an idyllic scene in Mongolia with grassy hills, horses, and people in traditional dress.

Family atmosphere. They remember your face when you return. If you tell them it's a birthday, they bring a special treat. Great sauces and proteins. White rice with every plate. We've been going here for years. We didn't go for 5 years due to location, came back and they remembered us and were so happy to see us. It was so sweet. The food is delicious and a barbarian feeds me for a week haha

I love this place. My family loves this place. BUT!, Let it be known, it is this particular place, location that I am talking about. The one along Sullivan and Sprague. The family has always been nice to me. The staff is friendly. There is a language barrier, but it is doable . You pick your own sauces and scoop them out yourself so it's all on you for flavor. And for that reason it will always taste a little different. Variety is the spice of life, right? (Where are those other women!?)(😘 🤭 😲 🤫 🤔 😄 😇 I think that about covers it) I highly recommend this place, and if you go, take me with you!

Great in so many ways. I go there for the food, it is delicious and a wide variety. I like the fact that it can be what I wanted to be as I put it together. Everybody that works there is friendly and customer focused. I really think I could eat here every day.

I have been a patron of the Mongolian BBQ restaurant for well over a decade. It is not only my favorite restaurant in the Spokane area, but anywhere. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and take the time to get to know you. I can't say enough about this restaurant or the ownership. I never feel more welcome than when I'm in their Spokane Valley location. I will be coming back time and time again for many more years to come.

Honestly if I could add more than 5 stars I would. The service is unmatched, the environment is great, and the food is amazing. One of my favorite restaurants, worth a try if you haven't had it.

Don't sleep on this place like we did!! Fantastic food, friendly atmosphere, clean, and the family is beyond hospitable. One of the best establishments in spokane valley. Get here asap! Oh yeah..excellent boba, we had honeydew!! We will be back

Best noodles and nicest staff in town. They are my favorite restaurant in town. I’m from the valley and used to go there often because their food is so good. Moved to the north side over a year ago and now I’m only able to make it there once or less per month which is a bummer but every time the wife or I swing by for take out or what ever the staff remember us like we were just there yesterday.most places i get sick of if I have their food to often but i could eat Mongolian grill every day. Just looked through some reviews and anyone that would give under a 4 star is just being a Karen. And the hu hut and moons Mongolian done even compare to Mongolian grill. People are pathetic. Weird some people claim to have gone in one time and had a bad experience when myself and so many others that have left reviews have been in countless times not once having issues of any sort. That’s the world we live in though guess some people can’t get past their glass half empty in life.I wish I could review those peoples reviews.

We love it here! I have been going for 7 years now and my partner has been going since he was a kid. Not only is the food phenomenal, but the staff is one of a kind they are so generous and caring, never forgetting our faces. The portions are great and the ingredients are always fresh, cannot recommend this place enough!

Good food. But the reason there are 2 people there for lunch, on Sunday...your prices are way to high. Just paid $26 for all you can eat, at lunch. If you want to stay competitive you need to drop under $20....just saying... 1 star for atmoshere...almost nobody there...

My family loves this place! The food is fresh and healthy with a good amount of options, the restaurant is SO clean and the staff is very tentative and welcoming. We have been regulars for almost 10 years and each time we go someone personally thanks us for supporting them. I will continue to keep coming in, and highly recommend you give this place a try!

So delicious. Always pile more than you want cause after it cooks down some of the food shrinks in size. Super good and healthy food. Highly recommend.

Love this place, best Mongolian in town!! My drink never went past half full before refill, fresh ingredients, happy staff.. family of 5 eats for less than 80.00 bucks, can beat that.

Great fresh food. Cooked right in front of you! That does make it extremely warm in there though. Only complaint. That and no spring rolls or dumplings. Or soup.

Good food, great service and the place was clean. Prices are a bit steep but the trade off is mentioned above. Service was very good everyone is nice I would recommend and come back. These people do a great job running their business

Diner had a good selection of items for the grill. The bowls cook fast and taste great. The staff is super friendly, knowing a few of the customers that came in while I was there. In comparison with Hu Hot, I prefer this place due to the service area being cleaner. The counters at Mongolia were clean of spilled food and sauces. I will certainly be back.

We had a very bad experience at an Outback Steakhouse and ended up walking out we were still hungry and we needed food and I still wanted to celebrate with my husband so we came to the Mongolian barbecue we had never been to this one before. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed and even though it was close to closing they told us to enjoy our meal and take our time. The atmosphere was wonderful, the server was delightful and we got better service here which is a self serve than we did at outback. And let's face it I always enjoy watching the cooks.

Absolutely best one i have ever been to. I have been several times and each time its delicious!! The only thing better than the food is th wonderful people who run it! Love them and love the food here. Definitely worth eating here

Such a great place to go in the valley! Same location for over 20 years and the staff is always very friendly. All bowls, tables, and cook tops are always clean. Perfect place for large groups or families.

This was our first time here and the food and service was great we will be coming back

Went there last night with my husband and two friends. There was hair/lint on some of the sauces, they were very rude and rushed us, and told us we were choosing the wrong combination of sauces even though we didn't want the suggested combination or portion. They made our first ever Mongolian BBQ experience very uncomfortable and do not intend to go back.

It was easy to make a great tasting meal here. I really liked the sauces and they had a good assignment of non meat items. I'd definitely go back.

Wonderful, will be back. Great to have buffets again. Price jumped up a lot the last two years so I will post a new picture of their menu and prices. Will be back.

Staff was so kind and very friendly. A bit pricey, but totally worth it. I’ve found that coming here for lunch is slightly cheaper than dinner time. I can usually get two or three meals out of the biggest bowl there and they charge by bowl size which I’ve always preferred more than weight. Probably the best Mongolian BBQ I’ve ever had. I love the food here and the people there were so nice I’ll definitely be coming back.

It makes us feel welcomed and warm whenever we come here to eat. the food is ALWAYS fresh, the areas are clean and the selection of vegetables, meats and flavor is superb. I cannot stress enough that this is the BEST Mongolian BBQ I have ever been to!
