Excellent food and experience as always. This is the place to go for your churrasco fix. They have an excellent lunch menu special that includes the Carne Asado with two sides and a choice of regular salad or the cabbage salad. The service is excellent, you sit down and they have your water and bread ready. The salad is served almost immediately after you order and they come by to pick it up after you finish and clean/clear the table. The food is also served promptly. I would highly recommend this place and will keep on coming back.

Wow! This place is absolutely perfect! The service is extraordinary 💯. They really care about the quality of food they present and have traditional Nicaraguan dishes. I would eat there everyday if I could 😋. It gets very busy so I recommend going to eat there when it is not peak hours. To be honest you can order anything here and will not be disappointed but I do recommend the Nicaraguan Style Steak. For desert don't forget to try the Tres Leches!

I haven't been here in YEARS! I am so glad I decided to visit on this trip back to Miami. The food was spectacular! The service was great with very friendly servers. You can tell the restaurant has been remodeled somewhat recently, very modern & comfy chairs!! The price for plates were very reasonable as well.

Just left this restaurant and the line was wrapped around the corner. With good reason because the food was delicious and all the staff were very kind and attentive. I'd highly recommend. Viva Nicaragua 🇳🇮

My husband and I live in West Palm and our son lives in Miami by the FIU campus. It was time to celebrate his birthday so we drove down and decided to at a restaurant close to his home, it was one of the best decisions ever. The restaurant, does not take reservations, but that okay it was not a long wait and about worth it. It was bright, clean and the staff was very friendly. There was a very slight language barrier, but because our waiter was so nice we very able to point to a lot of the items that we wanted. By the way the food was absolutely delicious. We plan to go again.

Located in a strip mall, this place seems totally out of place here because of its upscale feel to it. But don’t let that fool you! Food is Nicaraguan comfort food: gallo pinto (rice and beans(, tostones, churrasco, yuca, repollo, etc. The service was very friendly, unassuming and our server was helpful in describing some of the dishes. If you go with someone who has never had food from Nicaragua, you have to order the antojitos appetizer dish. It comes with a little bit of everything: yuca, tostones, beans, chips, and the list goes on. For entree, they have an extensive menu but I normally get the churrasco which is always tender. The table is set with 3 different salsas: chimichurri being the most common one. The red/orange one is the best one since it is spicy: try mixing it with the chimichurri for a different take. The table also had a dressing that was similar to the Olive Garden salad dressing that was yummy. For dessert we got a flan and a Nicaraguan tres leches. The tres leches portion was on the slightly bigger than one size and it was really good: the cake wasn’t dry or mushy from all the liquid and the frosting was on point. Don’t let the strip mall location scare you away, this place is really good.

My wife and I had dinner on Valentine’s Day. I had not been to this restaurant in several years and I will definitely come back sooner. The restaurant has been beautifully decorated, VERY clean, the service was outstanding and the food was amazing. I had the carne asada and my wife had the shrimp creole. The food arrived fast and hot and both plates were delicious. For appetizer we had the queso frito with tajada and cole salad and for dessert we had an amazing Flor de Cana flan. I highly recommend this restaurant. Better food and service than other Nicaraguan restaurants at half the cost. Also, parking is spacious. Coming back soon to eat their amazing Pargo a la Tipitapa. To the owners, thank you for supporting Misiones Pax, Inc.

Excellent service and food. Very quickly done even though wait time was one hour, we were ready in 40min since it was so packed would recommend to call if they do reservations. 3 of us ate with full belly and took food home for just $125 including the tip.

I visited Madroño after not coming for a while and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm glad they still have their excellent food, reasonable prices, and great customer service. We started with a repocheta, which is like a Nicaragua quesadilla with cream and salad on top. Then ordered the grilled fish with gallo pinto (rice and beans), sweet plantains, tortilla and fried cheese. The portion was generous and the flavor was great. The fried cheese was so good. The only thing I would work on would be the gallo pinto. It was lacking in the beans, mostly rice. The sauces/chimichurri are so good. A great addition to the meal every time. The service was great and attentive. This is definitely the best Nicaraguan restaurant in the city!

Great food & great atmosphere. Food is absolutely very tasty - Churrasco de Res y Churrasco de pollo, and the desert is superb-do not leave w/o trying the "pio quinto" Natural drinks are also great.

This my honest review, first time that I go to this restaurant, place looked very clean and the A/C had a very nice cool temperature for the been a hot weather outside, I ordered the churrasco meat was soft but it was cold, gallo pinto was cold and hard, I told the waiter but after he went to see the manager he came back to me and told me that all was the same way so I decided to get mashed potatoes this time it came nice and warm, even that had lived in this area for many year I did not know about this Nicaraguan Restaurant, they do nice reviews and ads on Tik Tok but to me it was not out of this world just a regular place not a big deal, maybe I will come back for the second time or maybe not 🤔

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Madrono restaurant in Miami, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. With the abundance of culinary options in Miami, we decided to explore the flavors of Nicaraguan cuisine, and Madrono did not disappoint. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a bustling atmosphere that immediately signaled the popularity of the place. The extensive menu, predominantly in Spanish, initially overwhelmed me, but the staff quickly came to my rescue. They promptly found an English-speaking waiter who guided me through the menu, making the ordering process much smoother. The recommendations provided by our waiter were spot-on, and I decided to try the Churrasco Nicaraguense. This delightful dish featured a char-grilled center cut tenderloin steak accompanied by a creamy jalapeño sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection, exactly as I had requested, and every bite was an explosion of flavor. We truly enjoyed our dinner.

The food is good, they have maintained some of the Nicaraguan flavor. They have the best quesillo with the correct flavor I have tasted in South Florida, and I have tried many Nicarguan places looking for a real Nicaraguan quesillo. Wait times are a bit long but once seated the service is very good.
