Desert Hills B&B is an excellent choice to stay in the Moab area. The hosts Anna and Vic are the best! The room we stayed in was spacious and the breakfasts were cooked to order each day. The eggs were fresh and came from their flock of "girls" in their backyard. This is the place I want to go to if I return! Tom

We had a great stay with Anna & Vic. Their B&B is very comfortable and clean. Our room was perfect and looked brand new. The daily breakfast was the highlight of our trip and not to be missed. Their location is just a few miles outside of town and close to everything. When in Moab again we will definitely stay with Anna and Vic.

House was great. Anna and Vic were wonderful and provided very good advice. Anna's in-brief was very thorough and informative. Anna went out of her way to accommodate us. Although our bathrooms were across the hall from our rooms, it did not impact us at all and remained very private. Patio and backyard were great for hanging out at night, sharing the day's events and watching the stars.

Anna and Vic were terrific hosts. They are so welcoming and run their small business well. Their bnb was so cozy and beautiful, we loved the greenery everywhere and thoughtful touches down to the small details. Comfortable, clean, and many amenities available. Great spots for peaceful morning coffee. Wonderful breakfasts with homegrown greens, eggs, and homemade goods like jam, bread, and yogurt, all which were delicious. If none of that or their proximity/knowledge about the area aren’t enough then perhaps their cute doggo One eyed Willie will be enough-he is simply the best dog in Utah. We finished our days’ activities with some hot tub time to soak our muscles, and although our particular night was a bit cloudy/windy, I’m sure there are hundreds of dark, clear, tranquil nights to stargaze right in their backyard. We would 100 percent stay here again and recommend to others.

Desert Hills was absolutely perfect! By far the best B&B I have stayed in. The breakfasts were tasty & plentiful. You must try their eggs and jams. The room (Red Rocks) was super quiet, large, and comfy. The property itself nicely quiet and about 5-10m out of town, which we preferred. I spent time every morning on their front porch, overlooking the hills as the sun rose, and we also had dinner (brought takeout from local restaurants) a few nights in their dining room. The chicks were cute (and quiet at night). Anna & Vic were wonderful hosts and I look forward to returning.

Thank you Anna and Vic for a wonderful stay. The bed and breakfast was beautiful, quiet and so comfortable. It was a perfect refuge after a long day of hiking. We had the best breakfast with homemade bread, yogurt and eggs. We enjoyed sharing our adventures at Moab with the other couples over breakfast. We hope to stay again.

Lovely “newer” home in peaceful setting. It’s close to everything but away from the mobs of people lining the streets and filling the restaurants. Breakfast? OMG - the BEST I’ve ever had - and I’m in my 70s. Red Rocks Room was spacious and full of amenities for a relaxing stay. Bathroom is well appointed and modernized. Every element of excellent service was with a smile. Definitely recommend!

Home away from home! Vic and Anna live on property and very attentive to their guests. Vic the master chef made an incredible breakfast each morning that included the option of fresh eggs from their own chickens, fresh herbs to homemade breads, yogurt and jams. The rooms were comfortable and clean, plush towels any many other amenities to ensure your comfort. We also enjoyed sitting outside under the night sky each night. If you are looking for a traditional bed & breakfast I would highly recommend.

If you are searching for a traditional Bed & Breakfast in the Moab area, Desert Hills Inn is THE place. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was very special. Anna and Vic greeted us at the door of their lovely home and told us to treat Desert Hills Inn as our home. Coffee and tea was available 24/7 along with a bowl of fruit. They have a wonderful hot tub outside in their beautiful garden. Don't forget to visit the chickens as they provide eggs for the breakfast, if you choose. They have a living room to work puzzles, watch TV (your room also has a TV). Each day we chose our breakfast for the next day. Lots of yummy healthy choices like homemade yogurt, bread and preserves. Cereals are available and lots of milks to meet your dietary needs. But, there is always a special hot breakfast that is made by Vic! They were all delicious. Waffles or pancakes with eggs, omlette, eggs cooked to your preference. Coffee, tea, and OJ. Great way to start your day! Vic and Anna will help you with your local travel and hikes. Our room was so quiet. The bed was very comfortable. Our room had a small refrigerator, loveseat, a closet (with robes for the hot tub), and a nice size bathroom for two people. We really enjoyed breakfast where you chose your time to eat. We sat at the big table and visited with the other people. We met great people and shared local adventures with them. There are small tables for those who don't care to be with other people. The hot tub in the evening was a perfect way to relax sore muscles after lots of hiking. Anna and Vic are very welcoming and their home is warm and friendly. We can't say enough about Desert Hills Inn!

The location is convenient, close to national parks, close to downtown. Anna and Vic are pleasant and welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights in the family suite downstairs with separate entry. Rooms were cozy and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. We highly recommend Desert Hills B&B.

Stayed 2 nights with Vic and Anna. The rooms felt very homey, yet had the amenities you would expect out of a luxury hotel. They had robes for the hot tub, sandals etc. The entire property was beautifully kept and felt very welcoming. They're breakfasts were superb and made the entire experience even more pleasant. Their prices are competitive before the fact that you get a 5 star breakfast. My partner has dietary restrictions which they were happy to accommodate for, even going as far as asking all the cooking questions to ensure they got it right. They did. We'll be back with friends and family!

Anna and Vic were superb hosts. The room was well-suited and very homey. Breakfast was delicious. It was nice to be close to town and a short drive to the national parks. Our kids loved playing with Willy and seeing the chickens. The hot tub was nice to relax. They also have all the park maps and a nice binder full of information on local eateries and spots. Highly recommend!!

This is a wonderful B&B; Anna & Vic have a beautiful home in a gorgeous setting on the outskirts of Moab, about 10 minutes from downtown. They have been B&B hosts for many years and it shows - they are very welcoming, Vic prepares excellent breakfasts, the rooms contain everything a traveler could want, and they have a very pleasant backyard, deck and hot tub. We have stayed in many B&Bs over the years and this may be the best. We will absolutely stay there if we visit Moab again in the future.

We had a wonderful three night stay here. The hosts were extremely accommodating and organized. You can tell they've been doing this for a long time. Every detail was considered. It's a comfortable and relaxing stay. The house has several rooms, but even when full, we always had privacy and quiet. The grounds are lovely, and the breakfast was delicious! It is exactly the place you need as a base to explore the nearby parks. We will definitely stay here again when we return. Highly recommended!

This was the perfect stay for our Utah adventure! The whole house was very clean and beautiful. The back porch was a gorgeous spot for having a takeout dinner or a cup of tea. Breakfast was lovely every morning and Vic and Anna were super accommodating of my boyfriend’s food allergies. The homemade bread (especially the whole wheat with turmeric!) was just as delicious as it makes the house smell. Lots of thoughtful touches in the stay, including 24/7 coffee and hot water for tea, a large selection of DVDs, and a comprehensive binder with a restaurant guide and lots of local hints and tips. Will definitely recommend to friends and family! (P.S. Highly recommend meeting Willie if he is out in the yard!!)

We stayed with Vic and Anna for 2 nights in the Red Rocks room. Room was very clean and the first thing I noticed was how nice it smelled. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable. Great shower with hot, hot, hot water and excellent pressure. The room was cozy, yet spacious. We enjoyed our breakfast of scrambled eggs with cheese and blueberry pancakes with fruit on the side, as well. I especially loved the wide variety of tea. The hot tub was an added bonus after a long day of running/hiking!

Anna and Vic are amazing hosts. Comfortable quarters and Vic is the breakfast king. Nites in the backyard like being at home only better views. Came back from day of exploring to find Vic making homemade strawberry jam, filled the house with the best smell. Highly recommend this B&B over the local hotels. B&B Rookies

What a gem of a property! It's beautiful and welcoming. Sitting about 10 minutes south of town, it's close enough to "all the things," but far enough away to be quiet and serene. My 6yo and I enjoyed watching the hummingbirds on the back patio, dipping in the hot tub, feeding the chickens, and chatting with other friendly travelers as well as the owners, Anna and Vic. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast options are plentiful and delicious (the homemade bread, yogurt, and jams can't be beat!). You can't go wrong staying here.

Stayed with Vic and Anna in early August 2022. Best place we stayed in Utah. Anna was super friendly and gave us some great suggestions for trails and hiking to avoid mud after the rain. We stayed in the Red Rocks room. Tons of pillows and blankets. Bathroom is renovated. It is located at the front of the house which had me nervous that we would hear people going in and out, but it was very quiet. Vic is an excellent cook. Eggs are fresh from their chickens. If we go back to Moab, will definitely be staying with them again.

Vic and Anna were very welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and we received room service like in an upscale hotel. The area around the home was beautiful and Vic and Anna have put in a lot of effort to make their property beautiful. Breakfasts were delicious and healthy. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Exactly as described...for us, it was perfect!!! Vic & Anna are fabulous hosts. Truly felt at home as they suggested we should. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the hot tub each night, including the full moon. Each morning we ate outside and enjoyed the patio with hummingbirds and the sunrise. We stayed in the Valley View room and it was a very comfortable accommodation. The bathroom is large enough we could both get ready. The bedroom has everything you need places for luggage and more. The mini fridge was perfect & they let us use the kitchen fridge for extra freezer items. Breakfast was wonderful each morning. Our stay was our first in Moab and we loved being close to town, yet far enough to be away from crowds. This place is a hidden gem. Thank you Vic & Anna!

Vic and Anna were both very hospitable! THANK YOU!! All areas of the B&B were clean and fresh, we didn’t need anything that had not already been provided. The location is great for the National Parks. Anna has a great wealth of knowledge about her garden and eager and glad to share with guests. Vic and Anna are a great team for the excellent breakfast offered… homemade blueberry pancakes, fresh eggs made to order, homemade breads and jams! Our last morning, we had to leave before the cooked breakfast. Anna made sure we were offered fruit coffee juice yogurt dry cereal, etc for our early start back home. If you are looking for a very quiet, peaceful place to unwind after long tiring days…. I Definitely, HIGHLY recommend Desert Hills Bed and Breakfast! 5* +++ Karen Tennessee

We had a great experience staying here for a long weekend to visit Arches and Canyonlands National Park. You get the full Bed and Breakfast experience, with friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure the breakfast they cooked each morning fit our needs. The hosts are very knowledgable about the area and can give travel advice if needed. The location is just a few minutes outside of the downtown of Moab, and about a 20 minute drive to Arches National Park.

The overall stay was cozy and comfortable. There was even a hot tub in the backyard! Everything was covid safe as well, and it felt safe. The quality of the breakfasts and thoughtfulness behind every ingredient showed. The bread, jam (the mixed berry was fantastic), and butter were all homemade. The blueberry pancakes were perfect as well as the homegrown apples. The eggs came from their own chickens. Anna and Vic go out of their way to personalize the breakfasts for each guest, changing up the menu as well to provide new dishes. The breakfast was one of my favorite parts of the trip! It was also cool meeting other travelers while eating together. I would highly recommend this stay!

Anna and Vic are wonderful hosts. Their home was immaculately clean and comfortable. Very day breakfast was different and delicious. What a great way to start the day! We were traveling for five weeks and this B&B was by far the best place we stayed.

Wow, just wow! This B&B hit all the marks and then some. The hosts, Vic and Anna, are so welcoming, helpful (they know all the great places to eat and visit) and just amazing. Your breakfast is mostly homemade from their own chicken eggs to the bread, jam, yogurt, and turkey sausage. Seriously great food. The accommodations are five star in comfort, thoughtful amenities and their location is beautiful, quiet and comfortable. We hated to leave and intend on going back. One of the best B&Bs we've ever been to.

We really enjoyed our time in Moab at Desert Hills Bed and Breakfast. Vic and Anna were wonderful hosts. The room was comfortable, with all the amenities. The breakfast was fantastic (some of the options were omelets, waffles and homemade bread with homemade jam). They have animals (chickens, a dog named one-eyed Willie and a pig named Prosciutto)! They were very helpful in answering our questions about the area and mapping out great options for our visit to Arches Park. We will stay here again if we are visiting the area.

Anna and Vic provide everything a guest could need, plus many lovely extras, for a comfortable and memorable stay. The breakfasts are tasty, generously portioned, and spotlight Anna's homemade preserves, bread, and fresh eggs from the backyard hens. Vic's homemade sausage is just delicious, too. You will love the view of the La Sal mountains and the sight of the sparkling stars from the back deck and hot tub. The Bruno home is a short drive away from busy Moab, and provides a quiet retreat when the day is done. I will be back, and would recommend this true bed and breakfast experience to all who enjoy comfort and warm hospitality!
