Hare Krishna. Very good place, I wish I had a planned better visit but I am going to return and stay there at least for a few days. I love the place. I also bought a lot of books and there is a very good shop.

The temple is located in a remote place and the roads were passable. When you are here, you are cut off from the outside world. Very Green, calm, Serene and tranquil atmosphere. There were peacocks and other birds around. It was very refreshing. Great place to simply sit and meditate. They also have basic lodging accommodation on premise. Poojas were performed for Lord Krishna followed by lunch, which was an excellent Satvik food. Must visit when you are around this area.

This nice Krishna temple that's by an awesome small lake in a beautiful corner of West Virginia, only about an hour drive from Pittsburg. It's part of a retreat center that has a beautiful lake, America's oldest cow sanctuary, rose garden, kids area, a sanctuary of about 25 peacocks, a restaurant, cabins for rent, and a little but very peaceful temple. It's all part of a community with "Palace of Gold" at the top of a hill, which is more like a tourist attraction. This is one of the 30 most beautiful places to visit in the USA. Recommended.

One place to get all devotional experiences and calm your soul. Place will be more than peaceful and they sell some good food. They have a shop and sell all the stuff related to god Krishna. Go around, eat some food, get darshan and have some peaceful time.

If you would like one of a kind experience, this is your place. Fresh air, beautiful nature walks, splendid colorful peacocks, Devotional are wroth mentioning. Stay/Lodging - We have stayed here in 2 bedrooms cabin for 2 nights. Cabin is clean, but expect some bugs here and there due to near by trees. There is no microwave inside. Food - weekend free prasadam at 9am, Govinda express opens at 10am and for weekend lunch, there is a vegetarian restaurant Must visit !!!

Very pleasant experience. This place is for people who like to stay with devotional peaceful day. The staff are courteous. They graze cows, peacocks and you can stay in the cabins too. Food is okay and you don’t have an option 👍

Nice experience and beautiful. Exactly similar to Vrindaban India. Srila Prabhupada palace is amazing. Temple is nicely built. You can plan your stay inside the temple but need to book well in advance. The area is widely spread having a beautiful pond with fishes and turtles to see. You can see peacock all around. Nicely built small houses for those. You can feed them as well. Its very peaceful and clean environment. Restaurant is available inside serving pure vegetarian food which is awesome. Buffets also available which is worth the money. Overall my experience was wonderful.

Nice Devotional place. Temple is in a remote spot and many curvy roads. Parking was easy. May be crowded during events. Nice trek walk around the temple and you can see few peacocks. Nearby spot - Palace of Gold had a lot of beautiful flowers. Good spot for photography. Govinda’s Vegetarian restaurant was decent enough (neither too bad nor too good). Free lunch will also be offered if we wait for a while / post Bhajans. Overall good place.

Very beautiful temple.. and nice place overall.. would suggest go at a time when the weather is good if you want to explore the place.

Hare Krishna. We stayed one night past weekend. We had such a great time being at the temple and Vrindaban. Very relaxing and calm place to be at. So many things too see all around this Vrindaban. We will definitely come back here again to spend more time. This place has restaurant and food accommodation. Their DOSA was so tasty. Lodge we stayed in was very clean and well kept. Just drive little carefully when going up and down the mountain during your visit. Hare Krishna, Krishna, Krishna hare hare!

This is the largest ISKCON temple in America. There is so much activities to do here. Peacock watch, pet and milk the cow, yoga, walking/hiking trails, lotus pond, Swams, many meditation space, good food, etc...Standing at the golden palace, you can see very nice mountain view. Overall 10/10 to come with your family.

Must visit this place. You can also book accommodation available at temple. Very exited seeing peacocks closely.. also beautiful landscapes.. Time did not permitted for me to stay long... you will feel very very peaceful and closer to nature.. temple faculty is very friendly and welcoming.. have any question don’t hesitate to ask them.. 12:00 pm Harathi time with graceful Bhajan... Between this building and the swam lake is where the large Elephant Sculpture with a bell that you can ring, which produces a beautiful sound, and 2 large Cow Sculptures. They are beautiful created.

I recently visited this temple. The temple is located in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Direction and Driving: Don't trust your GPS altogether. Our GPS took us somewhere in a very remote area of the mountains where we apparently got lost. Be careful while visiting out of the country and sometimes net doesn't work in the mountains. My advise would be to travel in groups for the safety reasons. Drive is amazing, kids and elders all alike will enjoy the beauty along the way. Temple: Temple offers continuous service going on with one or the other chanting going on always. Prayer hall is large enough to accommodate a small gathering. Outside gift shop has prasadam, and little trinkets, deities pictures and statues. Outside the temple there is a place to have lunch and snacks. Washrooms are clean. A short walk around the temple offers The Golden Palace, The Swan Lake, The Lotus Lake and A Garden. Sitting at a different look out points in Golden Palace or The Garden offers some amazing views of the green space around the temple. It's worth the visit. Food and Snacks : The Govinda's Restaurant has buffet for $17 which includes daal,rice, vegetable, salad and some other sides and sweets. People are of differing opinion regarding price.Some find it over priced however, it is the facility to get food with in the premise. So like it or not .... Temple offers free food service as well on certain times. Cottages: The overnight stay arrangement is there in the cottages on the temple site. Cottages are very rustic style and designed for the devotees. Go enjoy and have fun. I would recommend the place to anyone. Worth the visit once for sure.

Beautiful temple. However, maintenance team need training on how to maintain the property i guess… trash bins are not cleared even after full.
