Wonderful local bookstore, and although it’s mostly books, there are also other found things — as the name suggests. Very quaint, and a wide selection of items, all at an incredibly reasonable price. I’d suggest stopping by at least once, preferably more.

We took a stroll through town and wound up at this wonderful place! Wound up carrying a ton of books back to the car because I couldn't leave any of my finds behind. :+)

One of the best used book stores I've visited. Even with the loose categorization, the quaint and unassuming atmosphere is infectious.

It's a beautiful little store with a great selection, however, the books are a little pricy, and the man that runs it yelled at me and shamed me loudly for not being able to afford a book that my child asked for. I was humiliated. I had quietly told my child that we needed to look somewhere else for that book, and the man screamed at me. I will never shop there again. * It was you. It was your shop. Right across from the parking garage in Leesburg. We were unemployed with several kids and finances were tight. I was humiliated. I don't know what the problem was that day, maybe you were having a bad day. But, I was so embarrassed, and so were my kids. I accept your apology, though. Thank you.

OMG what a treasure! I am a booklover by nature and was immediately drawn to this bookstore. It is a small two-story shop, which I believed to be someone's home. Every nook and cranny is filled filled filled with books and postcards, handmade leather bound journals, magnifying glasses, puzzles, scarves, you name it. We were in there for about 45 minutes just marveling. The owner was incredibly sweet and when he saw my kid playing with a wood puzzle he asked "ready to be puzzled?" In here, I found a childhood book that I have been searching for, for about 20 years. I couldn't believe it! For $8 dollars, I was able to finally find the book that I so vividly remember from my childhood. I borrowed it from the library and used it for my first classroom presentation in English. Basically, this was the first book I read in English and I remember it so well. I read it the whole way home and couldn't have been happier. I will definitely stop by next time in the area.

What a fun and welcoming place! Highly recommend — the proprietor is friendly, helpful, & has a sense of humor, and most of the books are in excellent shape. Be sure to look through for any interactive books that may have tears or pulltabs missing in the children’s section. Also, watch the prices – certainly not the least expensive but what a wonderful collection.

The ambiance is great. You can smell the old books, sit in a comfy chair and read. But the prices are quite unreasonable. Most were above $5. Several were much more expensive. A couple of books that I found for 35 cents at McKay’s were $9.75. Not sure how these books are priced here. Also, they are not categorized. It is hard to search for books. You just have to search randomly hoping to find a good book.

One of the most special places in VA! The storefront has a diverse selection of books and has many trinkets scattered throughout the shelves. Taking your time to go through each shelf and each corner is so very fun, especially when with a friend or group. Additionally, the owner very kind and helped me pick out a postcard from his own collection.

While it’s not always easy to figure out their hours, this place really is a treasure. Unique, used books, and the personal touch of an owner who really cares about customers. If you’re in the area and they’re open , this place is a must.

One of the most magical bookstores I've ever visited. Crowded (yet organized) shelves filled with delightful new surprises and old favorites, comfortable seating in each room, delightful art, and a lovely owner who welcomed us without hovering. Wish I lived closer enough to visit often, but it's now a must-stop when passing through Leesburg.

I LOVE IT HERE!! ❤️ So many unique and hard to find books! Everything seemed very reasonably priced too. I found a book for a series I collect and have been missing and looking for for awhile now! I am so excited to have finally found a copy! This is the place to check if you’re looking for hard to find books! It’s a book paradise!

Such a magical shop! Loved wandering the rooms and found a 50's edition of Huckleberry Finn. I highly recommend to tourists and locals.

This is our family’s all-time favorite bookstore. Quaint and comfortable, we’ve spent hours browsing in here. We always leave with a load of books, but rarely spend more than $50. The owner is friendly & welcoming, and has helped our son develop his love of reading. I am proud to have continued to patronize Books and Other Found Things throughout the pandemic, and I’m glad it has made it to the other side. I’ll be back!

Great cozy bookstore. Wonderful staff (owner?) And a great selection of really old books, new books, and everything in between. Great place to get lost for a while and find some titles you may not find many other places.

I have always enjoyed every experience I’ve had coming into this magical bookstore! Very kind owner, books priced well, always so so many options to choose from, and I just love the cozy atmosphere it provides! Definitely a gem in downtown leesburg.

I absolutely love this book store! I travel all the way to Leesburg just to visit this beautiful and magical place. I always feel welcomed to browse as long as I want, and never feel pressured to purchase. However I have added many treasures to my collection of books and artifacts which I have discovered over the years in this store.

Very unique store full of tons of neat books and other fun games and toys. I could spend hours in there and not be bored. Allen is wonderful and exceptionally kind. Everything is very fairly priced and fun to look at. My daughter absolutely loved the books and seashell collection! We will definitely be returning.
