Loads of fun, Amber was really nice and helpful. Taught us the ropes of how to throw properly according to our abilities. Will definitely plan to come again.

Our coach was amazing. Super friendly, funny, and patient with the lack of skill I brought with me haha. It was an absolute blast, and someone to cross off your bucket list.

We had a big bachelorette group and Lloyd was a fantastic instructor and host. He was fun and entertaining from the moment we arrived. We had a blast doing archery and axe throwing for two hours and enjoyed a nice selection of cold beers as we did! Highly recommend :)

Fantastic way to spend an afternoon in downtown Albany. Archery, axe and knife throwing - definitely get the package and try them all. Super fun experience, very knowledgeable and patient staff (shout out to John). The beer selection is pretty good. Highly recommend.

Lloyd was so amazing!! Absolutely perfect place for date night or just a fun night for the group. There’s food and music and just a great overall experience. Totally worth it!! Bonus Rick and Morty impersonations from Lloyd!!! Get there very early so you get inside on time! And wear close toed shoes!

My husband and I were first timers and we appreciated the attentiveness and instruction by Lloyd. He was patient, funny and fun! He actually made my husband laugh (and that's not easy). Thanks for a good experience, Lloyd, from two Philly Firefighters.

So fun! Been here a few times. Highly recommend. John was great! Their website has all the info you need. Great for social or work outing. I appreciate that the staff trained us and facilitated games like bingo, horse, king of the hill etc. 90 min was perfect. Tell everyone. They deserve your business.

Awesome time! Professional, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. It was so much fun, a great way to spend a birthday or something to do with friends on a weekend. Don (Donaldddd) was awesome and made sure everyone had a great night. Highly recommend. When you go, look for Donald at the register and buy him a can of Coors Banquet and tell him Rachel’s birthday crew sent you! 😆

Had a great time at Far Shot in Albany. I did a reservation online ahead of time for an ax & knife throwing bundle (anniversary surprise). As soon as we arrived, we had 1:1(group of 3) training by a wonderful gentleman and bar service by a fabulous young lady(snacks and drinks). They add it all on a running tab so we were able to pay all at once when we were done. Great experience overall. Our daughters favorite were the "Bat-erangs"(yup, we brought our kid to throw weapons, safety first kids!!!), my husband preferred the knives and my favorite was the tomahawk. Thanks guys!!!

We had our company Christmas party here today and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating in making everything so easy to do and arrange. In addition they made it just so much fun for everyone to just get together and let go for a little bit and just be social. I recommend them highly for any events both personal and business.

I reached out to Far Shot prior to my reservation on 4/23 to add another person to our group, within minutes my questions were answered and my needs accommodated. Once we got there we were set up with Tom as our instructor. He was awesome! Friendly, accommodating and very informative. We picked the bundle package which included archery and axe throwing. We had a great time and will definitely be back! I highly recommend for something different to do in this area!

We have been a few times to throw axes and knives. We did archery too, which was fun, but not as much fun as throwing. Great staff, and food! Would def recommend!

Far Shot is such a great establishment! My boyfriend and I went to celebrate our anniversary and it was such a good time! We did an hour of axe throwing and knife throwing. Our coach even let us use a batarang for getting a bullseye with a knife haha. We wished we could have done the archery add on too, but it was a busy Saturday so their archery range was all booked up. If you’re looking to do the archery either do it on a weekday or book in advance! Either way, it was still so much fun and I stronglyyyyy recommend to anyone and everyone for a fun night out!

Carrie was an awesome coach and so helpful! She actually had me calling my shots by the end of the night! Lloyd and John were also awesome and so much fun! 10 out of 10 recommend and will be returning shortly!

Came here with my partner for a date night archery competition! I texted the store and asked to change times because we were going to be late and they were understanding! When we got there, there was no wait. John was really patient with teaching us the steps and safety instructions and we were allowed to go all out after about 5/10 minutes of coaching. We were also given games to see who was better at aiming and John blew us balloons to shoot at as part of a competition :)! I really enjoyed my time here and the space for Archery could use a little bit of an upgrade and maybe more arrows as well. It’s a bit expensive for even two people for just an hour ($25/person plus fees for one hour.) Not a place I would frequent because of that but for special occasions this place is a must try. There are drinks, food, axe throwing/knife throwing available as well to add to your activities for a cheaper price. Massage chairs are available as well and would be really nice after all the straining. Shoutout to John and hope to see him again for our next date night competition!

My Husband and I are in town for a wedding and we met up with some friends at Far Shot - Albany last night. We had SO much fun and like it way better than our Axe throwing places in Buffalo, NY! Alex was super great and funny! I highly recommend 👌

Great experience. The guy was super imformative how everything works and always checked up if we needed and snack or beverages as well or extra help. Also good on time management. Would go again even tho it's a lil pricy.

So much fun! Husband and I were in town for Thanksgiving and decided to try out something new. John was our instructor and he was great. He suggested we use pro wrestler names for the games which I concur is 100% the way to go but also was able to pick up on tiny form issues that helped us do better. Beers were cheap at $4. I never felt worried I was going to be hit with an errant ax or knife. I'm slightly more prepared for the zombie apocalypse. win-win-win-win-win.

Great fun, very cathartic. I want to try this again. The pricing could be a little more transparent, but with inexpensive fun like this, and great service, I won’t complain too much.
