Love the food. Best ceviche peruano I've ever had. BUT the wait times are insane. They should consider moving to a bigger location.

Today we went to Venus and we’re totally ignored and passed up to seat someone who arrived after us. We were 2 and it was a single person. Same table size. Ignorant owner who was there and would let us just walk out and loose business. And yes. The bathroom was filthy and no toilet paper. Very rude of Venus to respond to another patron to “take their food out” if they didn’t appreciate their lack of cleanliness. The owner’s always there and she should be on top of cleanliness instead of challenging people. A dirty bathroom is a sign of a filthy kitchen. We Took our $100 for 2 to another restaurant who appreciates their clients. Without clients they would be out of business. I’ve never been to a restaurant who charges you for your “takeout container” and .25 for hot sauce. DONT BE SARCASTIC AND SAY STAY HOME OR GO TO MC DONALDS . It’s the principle not the quarter which I’m sure was built into my $30 entree WHOMEVER IS RESPONDING TO YOUR POSTS IS CLASSLESS …it’s degrading the way you respond to your clients comments

I can't see how Ecuadorian food can get any better after eating here. This was one of the most delicious meals I've ever had in my life and I'm still thinking about it days after my first meal here. I'm definitely coming back to try more things because I ordered 3 entrees and they were all life changing. Ceviche is a must and everything else is just a plus.

Despite the many complaints regarding wait time on some of these reviews, we had no issues on a Sunday. The restaurant has parking which is a huge plus. We needed a table for two and were called within 5 minutes. We did not wait for our food very long, food was delicious and fresh. Our server was very attentive. Will definitely be back to try other dishes! Thank you

This is an Ecuadorian/Peruvian Restaurant the place is not a fancy place , the bathroom is not that cleanest unfortunately. If you go there get ready to wait up to an hour and another half hour to get your food. The only thing is that they cook the food at the moment, and the food is absolutely delicious.

Big dishes with amazing taste, worth the wait. Be prepared to shared dishes of how big they are, limited parking. Friendly waitress, menu with prices is not accurate. On weekends be prepare to wait for a table, definitely coming back again

First of all!!!! Welcome to my review. This place is above and beyond exceptional!! I came here with my husband and 4 of my 5 children. 3 of which are extremely picky. My children loved everything! I was astonished at how amazing the food was the quality exceptionally high! The portion was astronomical! Our table of 6 looked like a buffet of deliciousness! If your looking for high quality & exquisite food this is the place for you!!! I will definitely be back this weekend to bring my sister for brunch.

Food used to be better years ago. Service from the waiter we got was horrible. Not only did she get the order wrong, but she clearly looked out of it like she wasn't focused on what she was doing. Also, they don't have a good variety of juices for kids.

Food is REALLY GOOD, but the service isn't good at least myself and family didn't have a food experience. Piece of advice call and reserve ahead of time, otherwise none will have the amability to get you on the waiting list. Seems to me that they have usual customer to which they give priority. Unfortunately NOT THE CLEANEST PLACE. GOOD CHEF BUT POOR SERVICE. IT IS A SHAME

Good food at reasonable price. Portions are huge and most can be shared. We ordered the Jalea which was super tasty and 4 ate from there. Fried fish is also fresh and tender. Highly recommend Sopa de Bola only served on the weekends. Not alot of places know how to make this soup but they have the recipe down . Wish I could rate 4.5 stars but giving them a 4 due to lack of parking and ambiance. Get there early because wait time can be long.

The food is moderate but you get a bang out of your buck. They put a large portion of seafood in the dishes compared to other restaurants in the area. You need to try their seafood soup which they are known for. People usually get the seafood soup as a hangover cure as I was told.

The food is very very good the ceviche is the best in the area. BUT they never pick up there phones EVER. I went on Sunday 06-11-2023 for ceviche mixto. Paid for the ceviche and they gave me a chaufa in return. after driving home for 35 min I notice I got the wrong order. Please if you go in double check your orders if you do takeout.

Service was Horible, the waitress grabbed my sister spoon from her hand as she was eating n started putting the food in to a go bowl. Then she dumped my Jalea on the floor traying to put it on a tray n walked away saying "I'm sorry" then she brought the bill and charged us for the jalea she had dropped. We looked for someone in charge but noone showed. Even thou the food was delicious the service was disgusting, Never again.

I literally cannot say enough about this place. Amazing food, better portions, phenomenal prices. Understand its a local place for local people. Be kind, understand just how busy it can get. I bring everyone I can here to share it with them.

Classic Ecuadorian restaurant that's been around since the late 80s in Passaic. The food is excellent and the servings are huge. Keep in mind that there is a 3% service fee if you're paying with a credit card.

They are great. So friendly. Service are outstanding. You may have to wait for a table, but it pays back

Great food, just a slight problem. If you’re taking out call an hour or more in advance. This place takes long on take out orders. I was waiting for about 2 hours or so on a take out order. Might as well dine in.

The food here is AMAZING!! The appetizer was a 20/10 the entree was definitely a 10/10. I didn’t have to wait long and the service was good. I highly recommend this place.

I got the carne mixta parilla i think. But it has variety of meats. With 2 sides plate is about 30$. Also they serve beer and have a juke box. They are closed on Tuesday and usually have a 30 min wait.

Great service. We were impressed how hard they work and are very courteous and highly motivated to make a great time for their customers. Plus a delicious food.

The food is absolutely delicious! Prices definitely reflect the portions! Would love to come back here. Everything is seasoned just right. Took my grandma who can't eat foods high in salt and she was fine. Great service too!
