👍👍 I had a great time looking at all the great art by Tom of Finland. However my experience was somewhat soured by three men, one of whom was insect like with vocal fry, one with dead shark eyes, and one the shape of a bowling ball, that kept trying to proposition me. People often mention store, Finland, experience,

I absolutely loved my visit here. The house is a treasure trove that pays homage and testament to the huge talent and creativity of Tom of Finland. There is a large collection of his original works. The staff there were super friendly and told us a lot about Tom. Make sure to call ahead and make an appointment. Take time to walk around the gardens at the back.

After eating my CBD gummies, I like to come here and chill. (6 feet apart ofcourse, unlike employees at the dollar store)

Tom of Finland House and Foundation is a historic cultural monument granted by the Cultural Heritage Commission of City Of Los Angeles in 2016. Their mission is to promote and preserve erotic art in the world. There’s no word can be describe it. You must experience yourself!!! It’s definitely eye opening!

Rick Castro's Tea. Must reserve. Salon where there is wide range of topics discussed and analyzed. One silent guest came with a life size mannequin siamese twin connected at the hip. The Salon tends toward being Felliniesque.

I am a female artist that attended the figure drawing monthly group today. I needed fit male models to finish a project. ToFF was welcoming, comfortable, and accommodating to my traveling easel. I enjoyed the music, atmosphere, and time with fellow artists. On a side note, ToFF had many people who had no life drawing experience and were just art making curious. If you are just trying it out, or a professional artist it's a great place for both. Of course, the house and art was fantastic. Parking easy.

I work here, so I'm biased, but this is a truly unique place. It is a "living museum" in every sense. It has a few permanent residents as well as a steam of artists-in-residence who come and stay for anywhere between a few days to a few months. It houses one of the largest collections of erotic art in the world and has an extensive library of printed books and multimedia.

I spoke to someone over the phone this afternoon about my experience with the 'Tom of Finland store' and the customer service at the store. I wanted to make sure that the information I gave and the horrific experience I had gets into the right hands and is dealt with. Back in june I placed an order for a book "forever butt". When i placed the order it was listed as in stock. Once the order processed it then was listed as a pre-order. I made it clear through emails with the store that it wasn't clear that it was a pre-order. Through emails with customer service I was told that the book would be sent by AUG 2020. Following that email I continued to reach out to them with my concerns... with no reply on their end. I even checked the website and to my surprise the item isn't even sold anymore. I was never notified of anything. No one ever reached out to me to initiate a refund when they clearly knew they didnt send the item and they don't even have the item anymore to send. I then set a dispute with my credit card company and started running into troubles. This morning I called the store to make sure that this item would be cancelled and my money refunded to me since I have still not recieved it (7 MONTHS LATER). I spoke to someone by the name of Joankim Andreasson. They were beyond rude. Andreasson used foul language towards me, had an extreme attitude, and hung up the call. Now that is not acceptable AT ALL. I am a customer first of all. I paid for an item i never recieved and that they don't even sell anymore so of course i am beyond entitled to a full refund and at the least an apology for the inconvenience yet NONE of that happened. I am beyond furious with my experience. I can't believe someone would run a business like this. I really hope that someone can take care of this. Because as a store linked to your foundation its making the foundation look horrible. I see numerous people wrote some terrifying reviews about not refunding and unprofessional behavior from the store and it really hurts the reputation of the foundation and horrifyingly disgusted to know that a company representing foundation speaks to customers with swearing words (“f***ing pussy”) and accusing they have no responsibility as a online store to make sure to ship items being ordered or check the status to make sure customers who order items get items for the money they pay is sickening. Experience was nothing but horrific and I would never recommend anyone to use Tom of Finland online store or culture edit for any purchase and read other customer’s horrific reviews before making any payments to the store.

Very welcoming, a very interesting and engaged tour by the curator, Marc, and occupying a really interesting space between being a private house and a museum. They are doing great work to save gay art/a slice of our subculture. A real privilege!

A lovely outdoor yard space filled with Tom of Finland decor. It was a great space for a queer wellness retreat

Great museum in downtown LA. Need reservations in advance but worth the effort. You can probably explore this space in 2 hours and spend the rest of the day exploring downtown. It was a well spent Saturday with the family! Love the exhibits.

The ToFF life drawing event moderator, Miguel is Charming. However, the online pre-registration ticket fee has gone up 300% to $15 for a $25 ticket!

Great tour. The tour guides were extremely thorough and had discussed detailed personal events with house and with Tom of Finland. Better than I anticipated. They make you feel like part of their family while there.

The most amazing experience! I cannot recommend this enough. The tour was super educational and the tour guys are the perfect combination of easy going/ knowledgeable. If anyone is interested in going, don’t hesitate and just go. Can’t wait to go again.
