Beautiful place with very helpful staff. We went for the standard $15 unguided tour. It takes about 45 mins to go through the museum. The attention to detail is incredible. I would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Interesting experience about Hinduism! I think the presentations inside the museum was really eye opening. $10 to get in with RSVP (the door is locked sometimes). I would go again when the temple is opened to the public (went to the vegetarian buffet first and missed the viewing time 😅)

Amazing experience, very helpful in explaining everything needed to know about Krishna consciousness/reincarnation/karma/spirituality and how to lead a pure and good life. It reminded me of Disneyland, but way better. Will definitely go again and tell my friends and family. Every question is answered in this beautiful display of truth.

Very informative guided tour. Lovely done scenes with ornate clay figures. Our guides were very welcoming & reflective, happily answering our questions. It looks like they're remodeling the surrounding buildings & the bathrooms may not be ready yet so use it prior to your visit just in case. They have a gift shop filled with many gorgeous items. This is a little hidden gem.

Total one-of-a-kind experience, it really feels like an “only in LA” kind of museum. Absolute hidden gem, go here!

Fantastic and unique experience that I have never seen before. The Dioramas were amazing and in combination with the sound and light provided an impressive and impactful presentation.

This “museum” was more enthralling than I expected! It’s almost like a live reenactment of the journey to Krishna consciousness. The environment will set you right in the scene - you’ll know what I mean when you experience it. Take the guided tour if you have interest in this sacred movement; the admission price funds the temple. Wonderful place.

I always enjoy visiting the Bhagavad-Gita museum. To start with the museum consists of eleven stunningly sculpture life-size dioramas. It combines India’s ancient doll-making artistry, yogic wisdom, and Modern technology. Different concepts of the Bhagavad-gita, renowned as the jewel of India’s yogic knowledge, are introduced in the course of 45 minutes of narrative by the very best, Knowledgeable, and full of Wisdom Hari-Bhakta accompanied by animatronics, light show and video projection which left me feeling surrounded by a magical experience. I highly recommend visiting the museum if you’re in the L.A. area. You will be coming back for more. 😃✨

I found this place to be a cornerstone of Los Angeles and a must needed site to visit. Not only are the people endearing and friendly but the actual tour itself was outstanding; transcendental and life inspiring.

The museum gave me a better understanding of the Bhagavad Gita, they have animatronics to help you submerge into the experience. Hari Bahkta was our tour guide for the day and gave us a wonderful presentation. In the end of the tour Hari gave us a little bag with beads inside explaining to us how to do japas. Very awesome experience I highly recommend checking this place out if you're curious to understand spirituality or want to know more of the Bahkti culture.

As soon as I stepped inside, it felt as if I was transported back in time to the ancient world. I was incredible to see all the exhibits coming to life… it was such a magical journey! A great effort indeed to bring a live experience on few important lessons from ‘The Bhagavad Gita’. It is awesome🙏🙏 Yoga, Triguna and food cycle , if included will be a complete journey of 'Srimad Bhagavad Gita'.

How did this whole experience fit through those doors? I've read the Bhagavad-gita a couple of times & really appreciate what it says but this museum helped dive into the scope of what it's talking about so much. So much love & attention went into the curation & art depicting the great battle, universal form, transmigration of the soul & everything else. They say the Bhagavad-gita distills all knowledge into 18 chapters & similarly, this Bhagavat-gita Museum distills the message of the Gita into an awesome audio-visual tour. The staff are so kind & welcoming & didn't spoil anything. I felt very taken care of.

This is an almost indescribable immersive experience that makes manifest before your eyes a worldview that is more than 3,000 years older than Christianity or Islam--a veritable mystic vision for the initiated and an unparalleled textbook for the historical eye. It will inspire you to read Prabhupāda's translation of the Gītā, which represents a 5,000 year unbroken lineage of teachers and students, rather than choose from a smorgasbord of translations by Ivy League dilettantes in the 19th or 20th centuries.

As George Harrison stated after his visit, it's better than Disneyland. The attention to detail in the hand crafted art and multimedia presentations were absolutely awe inspiring. My girlfriend who was barely even familiar with Krisha at the time still talks about it often almost 2 years later. Absolutely worth a visit. Don't forget the gift shop!

The place is enchanting and a treat to the eyes... The experience was unique, and I learned so much about life and our connection with the supreme. The dioramas and the narration together explain the scene perfectly. Also, the temple is magnificent and peaceful, and the devotees are very helpful and compassionate.

Absolutely magical and thought-provoking experience. I’ve read the Gita but seeing the exhibitions really contextualized everything and the spiritual lessons really sunk in. You must absolutely come visit if you’re into yoga, reincarnation, spirituality etc etc.

To anyone who's looking to explore the wisdom of the Bhagavad- Gita in an interactive way, I HIGHLY recommend this experience. It literally blew my mind! I'm going to be honest: I was expecting the Bhagavad-Gita museum to be... traditional (a.k.a. a little bit boring). I thought I was signing up for an exhibition with a few highlighted verses and a couple pictures of Prabhupada. But no, it wasn't at all like that! IT WAS AMAZING! The interactive experience you enjoy, while going though every single chapter of this holy book, is just BEYOND. The music, the artistry, the narrator, the play of lights... it takes you through a journey that stimulates all of your senses in the best way possible. And, they make it so simple to understand. I felt I learned as much in this museum, as I would have learned taking a Gita class. But with the added element of being wowed by how the story was unfolding! If you're just beginning your journey into Bhakti yoga, this museum is a wonderful place to start!

What an unexpected gem on our trip to LA! We were looking for something a little more unique than the Getty and ended up finding this spot online. As a yoga student and teacher, I am intrigued by the Gita and was curious to check it out. We did the Krishna Experience 90 minute tour (which included lunch afterwards at Govinda’s next door, where you can also park) and I would highly recommend it. Learning about the history of the teacher who started the International Society of Krishna Consciousness, seeing inside the active temple while ritual was taking place, and then going through the unique experience of the dioramas with audio were all really wonderful. Highly recommend this for a unique visit for any yogis or folks curious about eastern spirituality!

I had my first Bhagavat Gita museum tour several months ago and I was awestruck by the dioramas and the sound effects. The experience reminded me of the stark reality of this world. Eventually, I started reading the book "Bhagavat Gita, As it is" and I've never felt more focused and happy.

The Bhagavad Gita Museum is a hidden gem in Culver City! The craftsmanship that went into building the figures and sets is evident throughout the exhibit. Built in the 70s, there is an nostalgic quality to exploring the exhibit that you are going to see for yourself. It is like taking a trip back in time with sound effects and voice acting that was characteristic of that decade. The animatronics were captivating and reminded me of something straight out of Disney Land. Our tour guide, Hari Bhakta, was deeply knowledgeable about the exhibit and took time to answer all of our questions. This is an outstanding introduction to the wisdom contained in the Bhagavad Gita for the spiritual aspirant and an entertaining experience for museum goers alike!

My friend was visiting and I brought him to the LA Temple for the first time and I had never been to the Bhagavad-Gita museum before. We were jaw dropped, excited, crying all throughout the walk through. It’s such a visceral experience with the sounds and visuals it’s truly transcendental art. We were saying it’s like a Krishna Disneyland. It’s the perfect way to explain the core truths of Krishna Consciousness and I learned a lot. It’s a great experience for everyone and especially for new people to the movement.

This museum is so special. So wholesome, beautiful, classic and full of knowledge about spirituality. It was more than I expected, with moving, vintage dioramas so refreshing in this modern world. So many beautiful colors and messages. I was left with chills at some parts that were unforgettable and I often bring my mind back to these beautiful images. You can feel all the love and devotion put into this museum by all of the devotees involved. I left feeling inspired. Our facilitator, Hari, was so helpful and even gifted my two friends and I each a book, "Hiding in unnatural happiness" by Devamrita Swami. The Bhagavad Gita Museum is a perfect getaway into the spiritual world <3

The Diorama-Museum of Bhagavad-Gita is a hidden gem, especially for those interested in ancient teachings, yoga, and spirituality. Located at the heart of Culver City, you will find yourself in a peaceful oasis where you will tap into the great teachings of the thousand-year-old text which will inevitably have you inquiring about the bigger questions in life. The Gita Museum has a mysterious and enchanting atmosphere, within an enclosed venue that makes the experience much more unique and personal. Intricate narration, sculpture work, lighting work, paintings, and music are displayed at each exhibition which emanates a magical feeling and will further engulf you in the ever-so-revealing story. Chapter 11 is truly a sight to see! Our tour guide was knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, he described the museum as “The spiritual Disneyland” which fits perfectly. Highly recommend it if you ever come across it.

Amazing! Your able to go on a journey and self reflect as you go through the museum to understand Bhagavad Gita through story telling which explain the most important parts of the story. A unique experience where your in the dark and lights highlight the exhibit. Definitely a place to come to, to learn more about spirituality or are curious about this story. I chose the option to go on my own but there is also an option to be guided along the away. Cant recommend it enough!

This is an awesome museum, unlike any I've visited before. Exploring this place feels like a cool journey through visual and auditory spirituality. It delves into each chapter of the Bhagavad Gita, with fantastic explanations for every segment, narrating the connections between the soul, reincarnation, and our senses and minds using clear and vivid models. During our visit, a friendly guide named Hari Bhakta explained everything with great detail, making the experience incredibly nuanced. Afterward, I highly recommend heading to the nearby Govinda for a visit and trying out their vegetarian restaurant – the food there is incredibly tasty. All in all, coming here for a visit is bound to be a fantastic experience.
