I wish I could give Casa Coral more stars! My time there was so wonderful I extended it by three days, and would’ve even more if they hadn’t been booked out in advance! The cleanliness was impeccable and the customer service was so above and beyond that you felt right at home! The staff’s passion and positivity made me never want to leave. The view, of both the river and ocean, was a cherry on top and unbeatable even at 10x the price.

This place is one of the highlights of my trip to PR. Rarely have I seen/experienced a guesthouse that so amazingly adds 1 plus 1 and comes up with 3! Coral, Fabiola and the guys do a beautiful job of creating an experience. Can’t wait to go back.

We stayed at Casa Coral for 4 nights in the room with private bath. It was clean, staff were amazing, it was well appointed and the air conditioning was GREAT! The views cannot be beaten. Hearing the coqui at night and walking on the beach only feet away makes this a hidden gem. It’s not a fancy resort. You are paying to stay at a beach side cottage immersed in the culture and relaxed atmosphere.

My stay at this property was perfect! Was greeted by Derek, who was very kind/helpful/personable. He gave me a lot of recommendations and tips of the land, before I ventured out for the day. Luz was also very nice to talk to. The room and amenities were as described, and actually exceeded my expectations. The property was literal steps away from the river run off/beach. Super close to El Yunque also. Would definitely stay at Casa Coral again and will be sure to recommend to all that visit the island. Met multiple great people who were also staying at the property. This place is great for solo travelers.

Wow wow wow. First time staying at a hostel and i promise that I will be back. Situated off the river and ocean (what a beautiful sight). The rooms are clean and cute. The employees are delightful, and helpful. The space is fun and brings an energy of community for the guests. Met some wonderful people and we hung out together all night. There's paddle boards, kayaking and surfing (small fee). I'll definitely be back. What an unexpected treat!!!

A beautiful place right along where the river meets the ocean. Comfy cozy vibes and wonderful accommodating staff! We booked last minute and we’re treated wonderfully and given an open private room. Everything is kept clean and very modern beachy atmosphere. 10/10 recommend staying here! Thank you❤️

Casa Coral is truly a gem! It is a beautiful hostel with an amazing view of the ocean and river. You are literally a few steps from the beach and nature preserve. They keep it very clean with nice added amenities and small details that add all the difference such as coffee, bug spray, sunscreen, towels, and snorkel gear in case you forgot yours. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again!

Best hostel I have ever stayed in. Not only it is beautiful and well located (you can see the beach and the sunrise from the common space), but they have the most caring and kind staff! It is also way less expensive that other options on the island. I still can’t believe what a magical and nice place it is.

Casa Coral was a dream to me. If you are interested in exploring the area with a deeper connection to the community, open to meeting new people and open to new adventures this is a great spot. I fell in love with the open concept of the kitchen to the outside. You can rent kayaks, surf boards, paddle boards for an affordable price. It was very clean and felt so comfortable, like a home. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. This is an awesome place for lone travelers. I met some amazing people even in a short period of time I made a lot of memories. Thank you Casa :)

I love it here!! This hostel is in a perfect location! It’s right on the beach, and also walkable to different restaurants and shops. The staff was very sweet, and they created a comforting environment away from home !! I hope to come back soon:)

Love love love this place!! A peaceful little paradise with friendly staff and everything you need to have an amazing stay. If you’re looking for a cheap, convenient home base while exploring beaches, islands, and the rainforest, this is it. We also loved the little town with small bars/restaurants within walking distance. Great experience all around :)

The staff here is extra special amazing people! Very caring! The place is absolutely beautiful. It’s right on a little peninsula beach of your own. You cannot go wrong. It’s local everything is nearby. It’s stunning!

Casa Coral was awesome! The location is great right on the beach, and the amenities were very clean and comfortable! Met some cool people over my two night stay and the staff was super friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay here again! Thanks for hosting me!

The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and made sure my trip, though short, went smoothly. They went out of their way to make sure I got where I needed to be with clean clothes and on time, and even during a storm they were totally prepared and made me feel comfortable and taken care of. The location was beautiful and near restaurants, too! What a great place to stay.

This is one of the nicest hostels you will ever stay in. Everything from the amenities (free towels, hand towels, locks, bug spray) to the location (steps away from the ocean AND river), and service (nicest hosts) exceeded my expectations in every way. It was truly a paradise, and they deep cleaned every day. We ended up extending our stay because we liked it so much. Cannot recommend enough.

Casa Coral was fantastic. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is GORGEOUS! Right on the beach next to the rainforest. You listen to the breaking waves as you fall asleep. The hostel was quiet and peaceful during my stay. Just a short walk to town with a ton of good restaurants and bars. I will definitely be staying at Casa Coral again!

I loved my stay at Casa Coral! Late check in wasn't a problem. The owner and stuff are very hospitable, had good recommendations, and it's super clean! Nicely designed, cozy and cute, it felt like home. The place is right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. I truly enjoyed my stay and definitely would return if around and will recommend to friends. Thank you! :)

We loved Casa Coral. Our stay honestly started out on a rough note but issues were resolved by the professional and friendly staff. The location is as good as it gets. Rooms are clean and comfortable Hope to return soon.

This was one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our experience the best it could be. The Hostel itself was beautiful and had everything you might need or want and more. The location was great being close to some really good restaurants and being on the ocean and the river. On top of that. It is a 20 minute drive to the rainforest, 40 minutes to San Juan, and 30 minutes to Ceiba. This was my first time staying in a hostel and it surpassed my wildest expectations. I’ll be starting here again and would tell anyone staying in PR to stay at Casa Coral.

This hostel is a slice of heaven on earth Double Bonus … few steps to the beach, bars & fabulous restaurants. The owners are overwhelmingly hospitable. The decor has an awesome beach vibe, with their decorative creativity everywhere. Enjoyed it so much, my sister made reservations for Christmas Eve, as guests are coming from Kentucky. Also hoping to return next week for a quick stopover to the states. Very clean, cozy, cool place. As a single woman, I felt at ease & secure w their locked doors. 👍

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in globally. You’ll really feel at home. Great place to meet people and rewind. The beach views are unbeatable. Coral, Fabiola and Laura are really cool and friendly! Make sure to take a surf lesson with Derek while you’re around.

I've traveled and stayed in hostels all over the world for 30 something years and Casa Coral has to be in the top 3. Everybody was so nice and helpful and you can tell they love it as well. Beautiful location, perfect rooms. Kinda wish I could just live there forever. 10/10

Casa Coral is amazing! I highly recommend it. Their beds are comfortable and they have a comfortable common area. The kitchen has everything (including a blender!) and their staff is down to earth and helpful. The easy access to the beach for sunrise is an added bonus.

My spouse and I stayed for 3 nights in the private room with ensuite. It was perfect! The staff was so welcoming and had wonderful recommendations. We loved the location and having access to the kitchen area. We would not hesitate to stay at Casa Coral again in the future.

Casa Coral was perfect for our needs. The room was super clean and comfortable. The shared bathroom was really clean. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen, while listening to the waves. We were surprised people were not using it that much.. Location is great. You can easily walk to the restaurants and coffee shops downtown, or to the grocery store, or even to Los Kioskos/Balneario beach. We highly recommend.

I stayed in three different places over my time in PR. A beach house, a hotel, and here. This was my favorite. It’s so peaceful here. It’s clean, it’s quiet, you can catch a beautiful sunrise right outside your door. A two minute walk and there is a town square with stores and restaurants. This was my first hostel stay as well and I’m so happy I stayed here.

My family and I spent one night at Casa Coral. It was a last minute stay, and it was worth it!!! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hostel is adorable, very clean and cozy. I loved our room for six people, with the bunk beds. The beds are comfortable and we had a good night sleep. The view to the river and the beach is amazing, so beautiful and great access!!! I will most definitely stay there in our next adventure to El Yunque. I will recommend this 100%!!!

I recently stayed in Casa Coral for about 10 days. I spent my Birthday there. The staff are like family. Location is amazing, very clean, peaceful and safe. It is the best place to relax, work, and enjoy nature. Short walk to La Pared Beach and other amenities. Surfing Lessons, Kayak tours, paddles boards are also part of Casa Coral. The outdoor kitchen gives you the chance to have your morning coffee while looking at the sunrise. This will always be, my to go place when I go back home, MY Puerto Rico.

My partner and I had an I incredible stay at casa coral! The staff were so kind and helpful. We stayed in the private room and it was comfortable and fit our needs. The showers and bathrooms were clean. Loved chatting with the other kind travelers and families in the common areas. We rented their paddle boards to go up the river just outside the front! The beach access deserves 5 stars on its own, so close and quiet from crowds. 10/10 would recommend to anyone

I didn’t spend a night here so I can’t comment on the rooms or nighttime experience. The location is wonderful - the beach is quite literally a few steps away, and visible from one of the rooms. La Pared is a wonderful beach because one section is very wavy and good for surfing year round (according to a local). If you walk 10 minutes away, the water is very calm. My friends and I rented surf boards from Casa Coral, and had a great experience. Very friendly staff, and we had a great time surfing.

I don't think you can find anywhere with better beach access and better vibes than Casa Coral. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed and loved everything about it. We stayed in a private room right off the kitchen area. The room was beautifully decorated, shower was great, and ac worked super well. The open air kitchen is awesome to hang out in and meet other people staying at the hostel. We loved waking up and walking less than 1 min to the beach. Casa Coral is in a great location to walk into town for dinner and other things you may need. We loved the recommendation chalkboard. This place is a gem and we can't wait to come back one day.

Amazing. Best Hostel I have stayed at so far. A true hidden gem. Great location: literally right on the beach and a river. Owner and staff are very easy going and a pleasure to talk to. Clean and they put extra attention into details. Book it now!

Fantastic stay at Casa Coral. Everyone was super friendly / accommodating. They even provided us with a free bottle of wine to help celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday! Our only regret was that we didn’t have more time to stay and explore the area. We’ll definitely be coming back and staying at Casa Coral again!!

  • 5/5 Kimberly L. 2 years ago on Google
This place is a hidden gem!! The rooms were clean and comfortable, modern and up-to-date and the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning. The staff treated us more like family than a guest at their hotel. The location is absolutely gorgeous! Right on the beach and the view was breathtaking. We will definitely stay here again! Don't hesitate to book your stay!!!

This place was great. Location was phenomenal, being right off the beach & a lagoon. Staff was kind, room was clean, and it has a great open air community kitchen/gathering space. We only wish we stayed for more then one night. Also, if your in the mood for some really great pizza, stroll down the block a few and check out "Pizza to Go".

Really good hostel. This was my 1st time staying in a hostel and it was great. The hostel was clean, the staff is friendly, the other travelers there were friendly and there’s a great common area/kitchen to talk with people. It’s right next to a beach/lagoon and the view is amazing. Would definitely stay again.
