Everything we ordered was good. The service is very friendly and the order comes out quick. We are working our way around the whole menu. I almost kept this gem to myself but I want them to flourish. It really is that good.

Delicious food and sweets! Their soup dim sum and their takoyaki were amazing. Also bought a set of lunar new year cakes to bring home, they are so light and fluffy, not overly sweet, beautiful and delicious! Very friendly owner!

This is for the New Orleans location on Nashville. The food was delicious. Sort of. My problem was with the delivery person. I get food delivered all the time. They ALWAYS knock on the door, even if they don't wait for me to answer it. I sit in the front room so I can hear it. This person texted me. Why??? And called. One knock would have been easier.? I didn't see the food until a half hour passed and I went out to see what was going on. THere it was.. Sitting on my front porch. The veg dumplings were not so great bec they probably need to be served hot....There was a cake with whip cream also. so THAT was hot and needed to be cold. In this heat ,sitting outside, not too attractive. REally disappointing. And the third "free" order I was promised never made it into the delivery. I was told I could pick it up,,....but I ordered delivery for a reason. Too bad for a first experience. I had high hopes

They stepped up their game since they moved over by Lakeside Mall!! The menu is extensive and there's so much to pick from! Everything from the numerous dumpling options to their multiple flavors of crepe cakes, everything is a must eat. I always get these: Dragon Shrimp Pork Floss Dumplings Beef salad Scallop pocket And soup dumplings! Go eat here! @phidingthefam

Very small restaurant that gives a feeling that this is a very temporary location. No wall decor. Order at the counter. I got the dragon shrimp dumplings and the tofu sweet rice to dine in. Those shrimp dumplings were freaking amazing. I ended up getting a slice of the taro cake and the green tea cake to go and they were just lovely.

Was craving some noodles!! Stopped by and had the Taiwan Shacha beef noodles. The broth and noodles remind me of childhood. The beef had a unique taste, it tasted like pork? I had the cucumber salad also, I wouldn’t get this again. The cucumber tasted very fragrant it didn’t have the chili oil flavor. But there egg tarts and dessert are the show of the show!

The food here was seriously delicious! I really loved the vegetable dumplings, cheeseburger dumplings, and the sweet rice tofu roll (my favorite out of the three). All the food came out HOT. My girlfriend got the octopus balls, which were covered in bonito flakes and pretty tasty.

Our whole family dined at Wishing Town Bakery Cafe and was thoroughly impressed by the the food and service. The soup dumplings were delicious and the spicy dumpling soup was a unique and flavorful twist. The servers were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. The ambiance of the cafe was comfortable and inviting, adding to the overall comfort of the dining experience. 10/10!!!

I stopped by Wishing Town yesterday on my way to next job. I ordered chicken with black mushroom with side rice( you can do noodles too), it was perfect for a healthy quick lunch. The waitress is welcoming and serves fast! Another hidden gem found!

All I can say is WOW. After going to a few places while visiting Metairie, Louisiana, I have to say that the Cheese Burger Dumpling and the Grilled Chicken Skewers are some of the best foods I've had here. I will be back when I visit again next month! I'd recommend to friends and family for sure. Great atmosphere and great food.

I visited Wishing Town with my daughter after we went shopping at Lakeside Mall. We were to checkout what they have and left with some cake slices. They were amazing- light and soft and mild sweet. My daughter already said she wanted her next birthday cake from here.

Super delicious food, I had their beef soup noodles and it tasted great. I was a bit reluctant to try their light cheesecake because I don't like sweet cakes but it tasted amazing, not so sugary and very light to the stomach! I recommend you try this place!

My favorite place in town for fast casual asian food! I literally go like once a month and have tried a bunch of their soups/dim sum. My favorite soup is the seafood since it's creamy, a little spicy and oh so filling. As for dim sum, I usually get the mini steamed buns; it comes with a vinegar dipping sauce on the side. For desserts, I'll do an egg tart or a tiramisu. This place is not cheap if you compare it to other asian dim spots in larger cities, but I deal with it because there's not a lot of other options for that in nola.

They had very limited bakery options on the shelves. I asked for the chocolate crepe cake and when it was placed on the counter for me to pay I asked the clerk to verify that it was just chocolate because the one I was given looked lighter color than the ones I had seen on the shelf but was told it was chocolate. It was not. It was some sort of fruit. The crepes in the 2 crepe cakes I chose tasted like I was chewing paper. The macarons were crunchy. How this place manages to do business so close to the other truly amazing bakeries near it is beyond my understanding.

I’ve been planning on trying Wishing Town Bakery for a while now. I ran across a video of the rainbow mille crepe cake on Instagram and it looked like pure deliciousness! I’m their defense, maybe I’m not a crepe cake person. It tasted like paper and cream, there’s no other way to describe it. I was so heartbroken after tasting it lol. I also tried the Japanese cheesecake. Again, I had no idea what to expect so maybe that’s my fault. It tasted okay, but reminded me a a cream cheese flavored pound cake…very “lightly” cream cheese flavored. All of that to say, this place isn’t for me but I’m sure plenty of others would enjoy it.
