This was such a great experience! It has some really neat artifacts and information. My 11 year old wanted to go for her birthday, and even though we're local, we'd never been. I'm so glad that we went. We spent an hour abd a half, but we were told it'd be about 45-hour, but we were very thorough and read everything. It's so neat! It's definitely worth the price, and will be going back!

This is an excellent museum and an overlooked gem. If you are in the Verde Valley, spend 60-90 minutes here and you won't be disappointed. Well worth the stop.

There is nothing like reminiscing over the past whilst enjoying the beauty of it too! So many things to see here, and it is so well organized that despite all the things to see, you don’t ever feel too overwhelmed.

Totally enjoyed the overwhelming amount of copper history!! The museum tour guide was fascinating- and his stories and knowledge of the Clark family was awesome.

I really enjoyed this place. It is well put together EXCEPT the bath exhibit… they need to remove the trashy mannequins, it’s just ruins the display… they don’t have a museum shop 😑

No expectations coming in. So worth the visit and would return again and again. The one hour visit, despite the size of the museum, is NOT enough. So many artifacts to see and stories to know! Drake, the curator of the museum, is a fantastic storyteller of everything and anything copper. He is a virtual time machine and grasps his audience on the history and practicality of copper. A must-go if you are a human on earth :) Five stars is not enough… this place is a 100-star visit! Thank you Drake for the awesome time!

Really neat place to wander around for a couple hours. We enjoyed learning about the history of Clarkdale and Jerome. Also how the copper mines made a few select people very wealthy! The museum is housed in the old high school so the artifacts are divided into separate rooms. We enjoyed the Trench Art and the Kitchen the most. We also learned a lot about metals!

This is a gem of a museum in an old high school in Clarkdale. It was organized well and we enjoyed reading the information and perusing the different rooms. We spent about an hour there, although you could spend more if you read everything in detail.

Unique. Who knew there was so much to learn about copper? An extensive collection, displayed in excellent fashion. As well, there is a fascinating background of Mr Clark, and how this collection came to be. The curator is a well spoken British gentleman and a wealth of information. Good parking, easy access. Not far from Cottonwood, but indeed off the beaten trail as a solo destination. Worth a visit, plan on spending about one hour.

A truly amazing collection of everything you wanted to know about copper. From history, uses, chemistry, and modern-day mining, this place has it all in volume. I have never seen a collection such as this and it is astounding.

What a bright tribute to all things copper, and Arizona's contributions. We were impressed by the gorgeous collection of copper antiquities. The museum is housed in the old Clarkdale high school, and that lends itself to a vintage vibe. The old classrooms are very well organized and the curators did a fabulous job presenting the material. You definitely want to set aside at least an hour or more to make your way through the venue. This would also make a great place to set up a special event or school field trip. My hat's off to the team who put their heart and soul into this Copper Art Museum. It's a treasure.

One of the coolest places I've been in AZ. The curator was so knowledgeable and passionate about the towns history and I left with a whole new appreciation for copper.

Okay place, lots of copper stuff with history. Helped to understand the history of local copper mines and about Arizona state. The museum is organized and good but the entrance fee is a bit pricey to its volume. About $10 for adult, $2 for kids.

Very cool and interesting place! Learning about the history of copper makes for a unique experience. There is a lot to see especially on the artwork. It is enroute through Clarksdale to the Verde Canyon Railroad so adding it to the iternary before or after the train ride makes for a nice additonal stop to add to the iternary.

Excellently displayed and a very large display. A bit unusual home many items contained copper. I would highly recommend a visit to the Arizona Copper Art Museum in Clarkdale, AZ.

This is a great museum. Our first impression is that the site couldn't have been better chosen. It's in a historic high school in downtown. It's also the place where the bank robbers for the largest heist in the state were captured. There's a deliberate blending of the history of the school with the museum in a non-intrusive way. The museum is thoughtfully laid out, with copper and related metal and glass artifacts presented in a logical way throughout the school rooms. The history and significance of copper are made clear and interesting. The number and quality of the artifacts is remarkable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. You can even touch many of the items. A must visit place!

This is a really great place to visit right next to downtown. You can interact with the exhibits and there is some really amazing work on display. The collection of trench art by itself was very impressive.

The lovely docent (I thought he was Anthony Hopkin's twin) gave us a brief history about Mr Clark, who founded the town for the copper miners. Apparently he was the richest man in the world back in the late 1800s and owned several estates from Santa Barbara to New York. The museum is located within an old restored high school. Walking through, one can imagine what it might have felt like attending the school. Very more modern and bright atmosphere than I would have thought for an old mining town. This museum was a little gem in the middle of nowhere that we were happy to have stumbled across.

This is an absolute must see museum, an unmatched collection of every way humans have used copper. Located in an original school building, this homage to copper is packed with beauty, knowledge, and an obvious love for sharing it.

This is an excellent museum housed in the old Clarkdale high school. The cost is $8.75 for seniors. There's plenty of parking and the displays are amazing. Be sure to get a pastry at the pastry shop that's kitty corner from the museum.

A very interesting and enjoyable museum of art and history of copper. The beauty in the everyday was evident, with displays of copper goods from art to kitchen utensils across history. We spent a good couple of hours and could have spent longer if we had the time. Highly recommend if you enjoy history and craftmanship. The display of trench art (sculptured ammunition cases) was amazing and the best I have seen.

This was an awesome place to visit when leaving Jerome. I loved following in the "growing" footsteps to each room and learning the vast knowledge of copper. The artillery room was really neat. The little room at the end with the flash light was really neat too! We would have missed it if we hadn't been told by the Host that we needed to look inside.

We had no idea this existed until we spotted it on line while eating lunch after another vacation site bombed out (it sucked). What a TREAT this place is. It took us several minutes just to go in because they had a lot of interesting items in their front area. Two of us cost less than $18 to get in. It was a lot of fun looking and touching. Just go.
