Visited Milford connecticut after 10 years for our 10th wedding Anniversary . Thats the place where me n my wife met and back then Coromandel was a regular eat out Indian restaurant for us n friends and We used to love food there. So we decided to to visit this place for Dinner again. The moment we entered , it triggered the memory lane and nothing has changed.. The ambience is pretty neat and well maintained..the food was amazing.. and the taste hasn’t changed changed at all. We tried our favorite Lasuni Gobi , Malai kofta and it was just perfect. The food quality , presentation and quantity standards are still maintained, which is really rare to find these days. The Manager Mathew and his staff where nice, polite, welcoming, very professional. The service standards are still maintained too. We were so happy to stop and it did feel nostalgic.Thank you! Definitely recommend this place to enjoy good Indian food !

Follow for more: @MaybeFrgual/Insta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The highlight was virgin #Lychee #Mojito with edible straw 😘 and the service. Bill: $103.99 Card Used: Amex Blue Cash Back Preferred ( halfway through the drive, I realized I did not take my wallet; luckily, this backup card was in my jacket pocket) Today, our random adventure took us to Coromandel Cuisine of India, Orange, CT. I have been craving crunchy #dosa for the longest and wanted to take a long drive as well, so we ended up here. Usually, desi restaurants have slow or subpar service. However, that was not the case here. The manager and the waiters were some of the nicest folks. Appetizers: Masala Dosa, Puri Main course: Hyderabadi Biryani and Shrimp Tandoori. Masala Dosa was tasty, and I enjoyed the coconut chutney that came with it. Biryani came with raita, and Shrimp Tandoori came with peanut sauce. I was not a big fan of the peanut sauce. Watch out for the generous amount of black pepper they put in the Biryani. I ended up enjoying my wife's Shrimp Tandoori than my Biryani. Overall, you will enjoy it if this is the first time you are trying out South Indian food.

We went for dine-in yesterday and we came back home hungry. After going to dine-in after a long time because of pandemic we wanted to have some nice tasty meals but it was not a positive experience at all. Something like simple aloo paratha was not paratha but a thick naan and not at all good to eat. Ragda Patties chat that we ordered was a mass of boiled potatoes with the choley served on top as opposed to the crispy grilled patties mentioned in the menu. On the top, service was worst and manager doesn't care of your feedback. We were thinking of coming at Coromandel for long time, but i am glad that we didn't make it. Wouldn't recommend the place at all. Totally disappointing.

We unfortunately did not have a great experience here. We had to wait almost an hour for anything to arrive even though we’d asked for an update on our food (or at least our cocktails) multiple times. After an hour, our server told us that our ticket got lost and that he had to put in our order again. Our order came out a bit weird too (we got two out of four drinks and had to re-order the other two again, our breads and main dishes arrived together but we had to wait a while for our chutney and raita to arrive). Our servers were really nice and kind, but there was some kind of organizational issue. Luckily the food was tasty; we all enjoyed our meals!

So I had gone to the Darien location in 2014 when I first went vegan and I am not exaggerating when I say I have not stopped thinking about their food since. This location was on my way home from MA to NY so I had to stop in. I am Indian and eat Indian food often. I’d say this is the BEST Indian food I’ve ever had (don’t tell my mom🤣). I eat oil free and they were so accommodating (this also applies 7 years ago at the Darien location). I ordered: Kaikari Kuruma, Chole masala, brown rice (the white rice is not vegan), and aloo roti - all vegan & oil free. It was amazing. The kaikari kuruma especially. My friend (also Indian) ordered chicken biriyani and she loved her dish as well!! She kept thanking me for sharing the experience with her lol

This place truly does authentic Indian cuisine. The flavor and spices were blended very well. The meals tasted fresh and our party ate every last bite. The portions were big, so an entree can definitely be split between two or even three people. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and polite. All in all the experience, ambiance, and food were 5 stars! Definitely recommend anyone looking to try Indian food, give this place a shot! Buen Provecho!

One of the best Indian restaurants in New Haven. Ambience is cool. It’s sort of fine dining Indian. They have extensive menu to choose from. Lot of vegetarian options. They serve good cocktails and have lot of dessert options to satisfy your sweet tooth craving!! I have been here a couple of times, always had great experience.

This place was wonderful. Delicious Indian food with a huge menu (all diets labeled!), very attentive service with recommendations, and they unexpectedly treated me to a GF dessert for my birthday!

Delicious food, fantastic staff, and nice decor. When most of the clientele are Indian, you know that you’re at the right spot for delicious authentic Indian cuisine 😊 We started with the Coromandel Platter (for 2) as an appetizer and it was a great variety of chicken, and lamb items. I loved everything except the chicken wings. I feel like they didn’t add anything to the platter. Everything else was excellent. Also tried the Beef Rogan Josh (beef curry) and the Laal Maas (lamb curry). Both dishes were fantastic and would highly recommend them. The meat was tender and the sauce had a little bit of a spicy kick, but nothing crazy. Naan bread was fresh and fluffy. The servers were very polite and attentive.

Great restaurant ! i am from NY and will definitely eat here again next time we are in the area!!! The food is amazing, the host was so helpful assisting us in picking out something we were sure to like and the service was top notch and full of smiles! I could tell they all work very hard to please all their customers and they are all so pleasant. I really enjoy the sampler appetizer we had as well as my meal and dessert Thank you for the great dining experience ! Melissa

We had the most amazing time at coromandel. The food is spectacular and the service is amazing. One of the best tasting South Indian dishes I have ever had and was worth the drive over from New Hampshire. Portion size is very filling and worth it, if you don’t know what to order, the staff can help you to pick out delicious items right off from the menu. For sure we will be stopping by more often while traveling in this area. It’s a good place to celebrate memorable days for sure! Thank you Coromandel & team…!! 👍🏽

The food is definitely what is prompting me to give 4 stars. It was very good, each dish had a unique flavor and was hot and fresh. The garlic chili naan we ordered was scrumptious, we couldn’t get enough of it. Paneer Tikka Masala and Malai Kofta were delicious, as was the rice that came with it. As for the service, I’m not sure if we just happened to come on an off night, but none of the servers seemed to be in a good mood. No smiles, no thank you’s, no acknowledgment of anything we said or asked for, although our orders were put in promptly, our waters were filled repeatedly and dishes came out quickly and accurately. Verbal communication was just not there for some reason. Overall, service aside, the food was amazing and we would definitely come back to try new dishes!

I had a wonderful experience from Coromandel at Orange, Ct. I came all the way from New Hampshire just to try this restaurant out for New Year. I was really satisfied with the food here. All the food were scrumptious, especially the tandoori shrimps. The drinks that we had was also great I had screaming Mimi, it was a non-alcoholic drink it is a great and perfect choice. The Porotta was crispy and soft just the authentic way. The servers were really polite and were really friendly. They pointed out the signature dishes, and they were really good. We got new year hats and beads to get into the festive spirits as we welcomed 2023. I would visit this place again and highly recommended.

I had the best experience at Coromandel, at Orange, Ct. I came down from Nashua, NH with my family to try this food. It is one of the best South Indian dishes I have tried. The staff were really prompt and were very helpful in suggesting the signature dishes. We tried almost all the signature ones and some other and I have to say nothing was disappointing and everything was delicious. We really enjoyed the meal and recommend you to try this restaurant for some delicious Indian flavors.

Wonderful bucket list dining experience. We had the pleasure of celebrating my sisters birthday at Coromandel last night. Excellent staff. Vemkat was our exceptionally patient and friendly waiter who helped our first time trying Indian cuisine. Reasonably priced! Elegant atmosphere! Friendly staff! Most importantly, delicious food! Thank you for making our birthday girl very happy!

This is a must go to place. Food is extraordinary. The food is very authentic, like home cooked food. The service is great. Has seatings outside and we enjoyed it during nice weather. The owner him self greets every customer who comes to the restaurant. His is place I will visit again.
