BROOKLYN LADIES WHO WALKABOUT: Since I live in downtown Brooklyn Clinton Hill, I walk to the Promenade regularly to get my steps in and to take in the sights. There you'll find a magnificent view of Manhattan Skyline as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. I love moseying around Brooklyn Heights. If you are a tourist or Brooklynite this landmark is a must see...❤✅

One of the best skyline views you can enjoy for free from Brooklyn. It is extremely easy to access, walk and engage with the vibe. You can choose to walk your dog, view and buy street art, seat and enjoy the panoramic perspective; or simply read a book with a view.

The promenade is one of the most popular and underrated public spaces in Brooklyn. Lots of New Yorkers commute by it daily and never visited. I must've seen a hundred Sunsets over New York Harbor and Jersey City's skyline from here and it never gets old. Over the years, I had a few shoots on the Promenade for different creative projects. You could find images below for two of them that I shot on 8mm and 35mm film. Motion and still, respectively.

Surprisingly nice walk through this promenade. Quiet in terms of foot traffic, though you may get actual noise from the road below. We stumbled upon it as we were walking through the piers below the promenade and thought it was some small park. One of the city workers looking after the gardens by the piers was nice enough to explain the quickest way to get up to the promenade and off we went. It's worth a stop if you're in the area.

Absolutely beautiful view of Manhattan. A great place to meditate and take in an amazing visual and aural experience. Also the place where my fiancée said yes to my marriage proposal. An overall memorable spot in the most amazing city in the world.

Keepin it real out here in Brooklyn Heights The promenade is such a popular hidden gem if that makes sense. I never regret making the walk down during my lunch breaks or whenever i'm in the area. The view is one of the best, comparable to the Gantry LIC view imo. The view is always different depending on the time you visit. The sunrise and sunset is truly something else. I hope to one day become those early joggers before sunrise, go out for an early jog and cool down at the promenade to the sunrise.

What an excellent location to visit day/night. You can stay and watch stunning views of Manhattan from here. Walk over the Brooklyn Bridge and then drop into this location to rest. For autumn visitors, it is a good idea to have thick clothes on cos' it can be way too chilly. 🚨 Bonus: You can bump into a raccoon chewing a brownie or a cake on the street bins! 🦝

I haven't walked on the Promenade in yrs. It's still the same but the view has and parking is ridiculous! It's better to take the train and walk a few blocks. But the view here is better than it ever has been (without the tower😢).

One of my favorite places to go alone. Just put on some headphones and walk or sit. I come here to draw, and as of now no one has disturbed me. The houses are also gorgeous and nice to look at.

The Brooklyn Heights Promenade is a true urban oasis, offering breathtaking views of the Manhattan skyline and the majestic Brooklyn Bridge. It's a peaceful haven away from the city's hustle, perfect for leisurely strolls, romantic dates, or simply soaking in the panoramic vistas. The well-maintained path, surrounded by lush greenery and seasonal blooms, invites visitors to linger and appreciate the serene atmosphere. Whether it's watching the sunset paint the sky or observing the vibrant pulse of the city from a tranquil distance, the promenade provides a unique experience that captures the essence of New York's beauty. An absolute must-visit for both locals and tourists.

Oh my gosh, the Brooklyn Heights Promenade has the most fabulous skyline views of Lower Manhattan! I love coming here, the whole area is so lovely! There are a bunch of park benches available if you prefer to sit while you enjoy the views. There is also plenty of walking space if you want to take everything in while you stroll the walkway. The promenade is also super accessible to everything in the Brooklyn Heights neighborhood! My best recommendation? Grab a linzer tart from Lassen and Hennings bakery, take it with you & enjoy it on the promenade!

One of my favorite spots in the whole city. Sweeping views of downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, New Jersey, Statue of Liberty, and Governor's Island. Great place to just chill and take it all in. There's also a playground for the kids, public restrooms, and lovely gardens.

Great view of sunrise and sunset. Come before sunset, then see the beauty of nyc lights, which starts one by one. Perfect view, sit and night view of the Hudson River. Over all amazing experience.

A stunning view! Everyone should take a few minutes to stop by and enjoy the scene. From here you should be able to see Manhattan, the Brooklyn Bridge, NJ, the Statue of Liberty, and Governor’s island. Definitely worth a stop for tourists especially with all the delicious food options close by.

Lovely for a long stroll with a view of Manhattan. If you are taking photos, the promenade is easy to get to from the heights, and a good walk down to DUMBO.

Great view of the skyline, it's quite a walk up there if you're coming from brooklyn brige park or if you're coming from manhattan not by subway. There's many benches throughout the whole park, overall a great walk

The must see view of Manhattan. If you cannot afford the helicopter ride, seeing Manhattan from Brooklyn Heights is rewarding. Go there early in the morning to avoid sun. Grab a coffee and sit on the benches across the pedestrian zone. Behind you that calm green Brooklyn Heights. In front of view the busy heart of the planet but in an abstract way! One of the best views on this planet. Don’t miss it!!!

Brooklyn Heights is one of the places you have to visit ✔️. Always loved walking along the Promenade and enjoying the architecture of the brownstones in the surrounding, trying authentic ice cream 🍦& pizza 🍕. Short breezy ride on the boat 🛥 and you find yourself in big city 🏙, the city who never sleeps. Great renovated carousel and playground for the kids. Highly recommend it ‼️

Beautiful location. Amazing view of the sunset. There's a decent crowd. The one thing I didn't like was the smell of weed everywhere. People smoking in several places.

A beautiful spot to stroll along the promenade with a phenomenal view of the Manhattan skyline or to watch the sunset from one of the many benches provided.

Peace, quiet and great views of the city. The perfect area to take a walk with family or your pets and also to get together with friends just for fun. It's also nearby the beautiful streets of Brooklyn, so you can have a whole day walking around.

This New York gem might not be hidden, but it is resplendent. This is perhaps the best place to people watch in the city. The panoramic vistas are beyond impressive.
