Loved it so much had a great time a hidden gem I wish I knew about it sooner

This place makes you feel like you're at home; warm, inviting, friendly, and run by great people. What makes Dress Up & Dance unique is its variety of dance music - they play everything from foxtrot, waltz, and swing to bachata, cha-cha, and salsa, and everything in between. This place will get you out of your seat and keep ya movin' all night. Even the "wallflowers" will cut a rug here. I highly recommend it for a lovely night of dancing!

Just had my first experience at Dress Up and Dance this Saturday night at a special-themed open dance night, and I was so impressed! Owners Angela and Richard were amazing hosts, great teachers, very professional and very fun! I learned the hustle, rocked out with a live band, and had a ton of fun in a beautiful facility! Would highly recommend for special events, dance lessons, or just a fun night out! Thanks Angela and Richard!!!

What a wonderful place to come and have some fun dancing. A warm and welcoming place to come and do dances you know or learn something new! Richard is a genuine gift to the people who are lucky enough to spend a little time with him!

Kindest dance place. They were not there just for the money as they don’t charge you $100 a week like some of the other places. It’s very reasonable, you don’t have to even take their lessons to dance there, and it’s so much fun

I have been dancing at Dress Up and Dance for 6 years now and over these years I have learned a wide variety of rhythm and smooth ballroom styles, social, and line dances. I’ve had the opportunity to step in with various teachers to assist in helping others learn as well. Most importantly, I’ve gained an entire family from my time at DUD. Angie and Richard have done an amazing job creating a safe and relaxed environment to learn in as well as meet new people who share the same desire to just dance. They host a wide array of classes, social dances, formal events, and private gatherings sure to fit whatever you are looking for in the dance community. Whether you are a seasoned dancer or have 2 left feet, I guarantee you will enjoy your time with us!

we reached out to set up a lesson for our first dance, super last minute. I’m talking the week before our big day. Angela opened her doors and arms and took us in no problem. we had a blast and they made us comfortable for the day of! it was important to me that we didn’t just sway back and forth. we cuddled, traveled around the world and ended with a dip. ❤️

My boyfriend and I started going to Dress Up and Dance over two years ago. Each visit, we were greeted by Richard's warm handshake and Angela's colorful calendars of events, decorating the space and creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. Since COVID, we have continued to participate in DU&D's outdoor dances as well as to take dance lessons privately with Richard and Angela for our upcoming wedding. Angela refused from the beginning to teach us a series choreographed steps for our wedding dance. Instead, she taught us the fundamentals and helped us to understand how we could create our own patterns. Now my fiance and I both feel like we can dance for fun on our wedding day and forever after it, too! I cannot recommend Angela and Richard highly enough as dance instructors and as genuine, wonderful people.

Had a 1970’s dress up b-day party this weekend for my bff, and 3 instructors from Dress Up and Dance in Mundelein braved the bad weather to come to our house party in Kenosha to teach us some 1970’s dance moves. They came dressed up is 1970’s attire, had great energy, were patient with us, and made the party a blast...so much fun. They were professional, it was a pleasure working with Angela making the arrangements, they took pictures with us, and took some pictures of us all dancing. I cannot say enough about how much fun it was and how great they were. Thank you!
