Just an unbelievable experience. The last time I visited this sanctuary to rock legends, was back in 2015. The staff has done an amazing job in restoring the place, bringing back significant pieces such as the legendary baby grand piano, and bringing life back to this one disregarded treasure. But what really makes this a one of a kind place are the people who keep it going. You can feel the love and dedication they have for the museum and the community from the moment you pull up to the parking lot. And the tour guide was probably the best tour guide I’ve see anywhere. He knows the people, he knows this place, and he’s part of this wonderful area. His enthusiasm and love for the building and it’s history is contagious. I drove hundred of miles to come for a long overdue visit, and only regret that I took so long to return.

Visited Muscle Shoals Sound Studios & enjoyed every minute of it. The tour was very interesting & informative. The Tour Guide, Terrell was AWESOME. He told us many stories about "famous" people who recorded there. We could "picture" it all as we stood in the same room used for the recordings. It was truly beyond amazing how many well known songs had The Swampers play on them.

Had a great 45-minute tour and enjoyed it immensely. Incredible to stand on the same ground at at the same piano that recorded so many great songs. Definitely a must see for rock history fans.

This place is AWESOME! If you are a fan of music from the 60’s, 70’s (especially) and even through today, this is a MUST SEE! The history of music here is amazing. From the Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, Bob Dylan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Linda Ronstadt to Chris Stapleton and others. The tour is about an hour long and packed with information. The studio is still used for recording today and contains the majority of all the original equipment and furniture. The guides are very knowledgeable and answer any questions you have. There is a small souvenir shop. We watched the documentary before going and still gained a lot of information on the tour. If you are anywhere in the area, it is worth the stop. We plan on going back in the future. There is a lot of history in this area which we did not have the time to visit.

What a great tour guide. His stories made you feel like you were right there on the late night session with these musicians. An hour wasn't enough time because I know he had more stories. He should write a book. This is a definite stop if you like music in the least bit. Go here!! Great tour. Hint: Tours were on the half hour.

This place is a MUST SEE if your in the area. Unbelievably rich music history. Endless list of artists who sought out this little studio in Muscke Schoals to record numerous of history's most influential and powerful songs. Upon entering the front door you feel you're standing on hallowed ground. Because you are. Watch Muscle Schoals Documentary on YouTube before you go. It will only enhance your experience. Absolutely one of the best

This studio and tour was awesome! You could feel the magic in this one room, the tour guide took you back to its day and even the tourists were in awe of the music history that was made here. Our tour guide told countless stories of the people who recorded there including the Swampers. The studio was restored back to its original condition and is still used today. This is a must see for music fans! The tour was 1hr 20 min and definitely packed with a ton of facts and stories. We enjoyed it throughly the whole time!

An amazing place that has seen so many musical greats grace its studio. The tour was wonderful led by a former record store owner who was fountain of knowledge.

Visiting this studio has been on my bucket list for a very long time, and I’m so happy that I finally got to see it! I recommend the tour to everyone; even hard-core music nerds will learn a new fact or two.

Excellent place to visit in addition to Fame Music Studios. Hear the stories, listen to the music, and see the artists who began their careers here. Although there is a newer and larger studio location, you'll appreciate the original sound studio.

Absolutely worth the trip just to go here! The story of the artists (The Rolling Stones, Cher, Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Linda Ronstadt, Bob Segar, Lynyrd Skynyrd…) comes alive with the intimate tour telling the story of the building, the Swampers studio muscians, and the huge part of musical history directly attributable to Muscle Shoals!

This was such a fun stop on our work trip! For $10 we did our own quick tour through the studio. Be sure to ask about that.

I can’t say enough about the visit we took to MSS! I’m so very proud of Muscle Shoals and the group of dedicated individuals who lovingly made sure this was saved for all to see. So inspiring! The tour guide kept us totally enthralled. We loved it!

Buckle up, music lovers, 'cause I'm about to tell you 'bout a pilgrimage that went straight to the Holy Land of Southern sound – Muscle Shoals Sound Studio! This ain't just a studio, it's a time machine, baby. Walkin' through those hallowed halls, I felt the ghosts of Aretha Franklin's gospel fire, the echo of Mick Jagger's swagger, the groove of The Staple Singers still shakin' the walls. My kid, bless his cotton socks, he was wide-eyed wonder, soakin' it all in like a sponge in Alabama rain. Seein' that spark in his eyes, knowin' he was walkin' where legends once stomped, filled my soul with a melody sweeter than a Muscle Shoals rhythm section. The tour, y'all, it was an education and a revelation all wrapped up in one. Our guide,Terry, bless his storytelling heart, spun yarns like Duane Allman could weave guitar pickin'. He brought the history alive, paintin' pictures with words that made you feel like you were right there in the studio, watchin' Percy Sledge belt out "When a Man Loves a Woman". And the equipment, man, those vintage mics and consoles, they held the whispers of a thousand hit songs. Touchin' 'em, it was like shakin' hands with musical history. So next time you're near Muscle Shoals, don't you dare miss it. Grab your family, grab your soul, and head on down to the birthplace of musical magic. Tell 'em a music-lovin' soul from Georgia sent you, and prepare to get your heart thumpin' and your spirit soarin'. Just one word of warnin', y'all: Muscle Shoals Sound Studio's gonna leave you singin' long after the curtain falls. And that ain't no bad thing, now is it?

Amazing that so much music history is associated with a small building. Tour guide Chase made it come alive.

What an incredible experience. I was fortunate enough to spend Sunday with the Classic Seger band recording with the amazingly talented Chase Brandon. The room is filled with the ghosts of rock n roll. It was surreal to share the space with them.

What an amazing piece of American music history. So glad it was restored and brought back to life! We visited today, a very moving experience. Our guide was exceptional in his knowledge, passion, and love for the recording studio. We highly recommend visiting. We will return and see more of The Shoals area.

We were in town for a little getaway and decided to do this tour. It was fabulous! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of this place. The entrance price was reasonable and our tour lasted ~1 hour. It was neat to learn about all of the musicians who have recorded here. Definitely recommend!
