I never knew this place existed 30 minutes from my house until today. Beautiful, well maintained trails, wildlife, birds, the sound of the river flowing...it was amazing! Lots of walkers, joggers and dogs on leashes were out and about today!

Beautiful trails. Nice park. I love stopping through here on my lunch break or when I need a moment to get away from the busy city. We love walking the paths and visiting the bridge. Such an awesome view.

Has a 3 mile trail (1.5 miles each way). It is tree covered. Pavement/cement trail. Pet, bike & pedestrian friendly. Water front view for most of the trail, so several launch points if kayaking, canoeing or lazy rivering it.

I've been wanting to take my kids here and we finally got a chance yesterday evening! This bridge is really well kept and surprisingly long! Great views of the river from inside. We walked the trail to the water and checked out the bridge from below which was neat. Kids loved the playground. We didn't use them but the restrooms looked nice. Be careful with young children on the lookout spots along the trail; the railing has a large gap at the bottom.

Very nice shaded and mud free trail ! You need to share the path with bikes but it is wide enough for everybody! Dog friendly. The trail is alongside the water and you have some pretty nice views !

This is one of the greatest places in town to enjoy the great outdoors. The covered bridge itself serves many professional family photo backdrops at any time of year. Enjoy a walk to the left with distance posts every 1/4 mile on a paved 2 lane path that follows alongside the river. Benches and covered swings can be found along the path with some great lookout points to enjoy the river and passing squirrels. The path to the right of the bridge leads immediately to a small playground, fully shaded under large trees with a drinking fountain, two clean bathrooms, and a free book share. But just past that is an easy access canoe/cayak drop-in area. About 3 small picnic tables and friendly visitors makes for a really nice spot to visit and spend some time.

Great paved trail for walking/biking. Nice playground. Indoor restrooms. Nice launch place for canoes or floating the river. Potters Bridge to Forrest Park takes 3-5 hours floating. Canoes launch is a good fishing spot too.

We went for the festival. We had a very good time. The weather was good, the company was so much fun. Potters bridge itself is charming. The vendors that were there were so nice and so engaging. Beautiful day, great time!

Such a lovely place. It’s small but just lovely. Lots of adult bicyclists and rollerblades groups use the area as a starting point so parking can sometimes be a challenge

Nestled amidst the lush greenery, Potter's Bridge offers a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This charming destination is a hidden gem, perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat and a connection with nature. During my recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the serene atmosphere and the picturesque surroundings. The bridge itself is a marvelous sight. Its historic design exudes a rustic charm that takes you back in time. Walking across the wooden planks, I felt a sense of nostalgia and appreciation for the preservation of such a significant piece of history. The craftsmanship of the bridge is awe-inspiring and serves as a reminder of the community's dedication to preserving their heritage. The park's natural beauty is its most exceptional feature. Surrounded by dense forests, the meandering trails offer a chance to explore the area's flora and fauna. The well-maintained paths are ideal for a leisurely stroll, and the absence of noisy crowds allows for a truly meditative experience. It is the perfect place for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking solace in the great outdoors. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the river that flows beneath Potter's Bridge. The gentle murmur of water, combined with the rustling leaves, creates an enchanting symphony that soothes the soul. On a warm day, visitors can be seen picnicking by the riverside, making the experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend bringing a blanket, some snacks, and a book to fully appreciate the tranquility that this spot offers. However, I did find a slight downside during my visit. The lack of restroom facilities and drinking water stations was a minor inconvenience, especially for those with children. It would be beneficial if the management could consider installing these amenities to enhance visitors' overall experience. Additionally, while Potter's Bridge is a perfect destination for relaxation and nature appreciation, those seeking more recreational activities might be left wanting. The absence of playgrounds or sports facilities might limit options for families with energetic children. In conclusion, Potter's Bridge is an idyllic destination for those seeking a peaceful retreat and a chance to immerse themselves in nature's beauty. Its historical significance and tranquil atmosphere make it a unique spot for reflection and relaxation. While some improvements in amenities could enhance the visitor experience, the park's natural allure overshadows these minor drawbacks. Whether you're a local looking for a serene getaway or a traveler passing through, Potter's Bridge is a delightful destination worth exploring.

There is approximately 4 miles of asphalt wooded trail (round trip) along the White River going to Forest Park and back. Also it is connected to an extensive network of trails in Forest Park which extend into town and beyond to adjacent Cicero, Westfield and Fishers communities. The covered bridge is pretty cool too!

Lovely park- great paved walking trails for strollers, wheelchairs or bikes. The bridge is really interesting, although there is a road on the immediate far side. There are two little play structures and bathrooms at the entrance and a few picnic tables. The play structure is small, but there were about 10 kids off different agrees when I was there and it seemed great for all of them.

Great place to get in and enjoy the river. My friends and I enjoy tubing from the bridge to forest park. The park also has good walking trails, good clean bathrooms, and covered picnic tables.

Just beautiful! Lovely scenery, small but very nice playground. The bridge itself beautiful, very well maintained. Easy walking trail with access to the water.

I love this paved trail! You can take it all the way to Forest Park on foot or on your bike; I do both. It follows the river a lot of the way with benches scattered along with scenic river views. Since it is paved, my dad, who has knee problems, can join me on a walk. I would say it's an easy level but the views make it worth checking it out... As is the covered bridge!!!

Overall good park and very easy access. Beautiful historic covered bridge. Great place for dogs who love the water. Paved trails which is really nice. Trails are a bit narrow so if you bring multiple dogs it can be a little difficult especially with other passing pets/people. Otherwise no complaints.

Beautiful 19th century covered bridge nestled in Hamilton county. Potter’s Bridge park offers access to the White River, great trails (complete with bike repair station) and a beautifully preserved covered bridge from 1870!
