Honestly
this
was
one
of
the
highlights
of
our
trip
to
New
York.
We
wanted
to
see
some
jazz
while
we
were
in
the
Big
Apple
and
we
were
not
disappointed.
You
ring
the
bell
for
the
apartment
block,
they
buzz
you
through,
and
then
shortly
before
the
start
time
the
indubitably
classy
Miss
Eliot
lets
you
into
her
home.
She
was
a
very
gracious
host-
it
wasnβt
just
that
she
was
outstanding
at
playing
piano
(as
were
all
the
other
performers),
or
the
cereal
bars
and
fig
juice
handed
out
during
the
performance,
but
the
fact
she
seemed
truly
honoured
that
we
had
come
to
watch
her
play,
whereas
in
fact
the
honour
was
all
ours.
When
we
come
back
to
New
York
this
will
be
top
of
our
list!
(And
yes,
it
is
FREE-
mad
to
believe-
but
donations
are
appreciated.)
