Wow just wow. My wife and I had this restaurant on our radar and today we finally did it and I regret not going sooner. This place offers incredible and authentic Cuban food but vegan. It's full of flavor, great quantity, looks delicious and tastes even better. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. Without a doubt this restaurant is doing great stuff and I will be back over and over again. Thanks for the amazing food.

I was pleasantly surprised with my experience here. The restaurant is nested in a quiet shopping center with a walk up window and a few outside tables this gave me a traditional order window vibes and was better suited to eat togo. The menu was full of traditional items and have a wide variety of options. Staff was friendly and offered suggestions when I wasn’t sure what to order. The food came out quickly and this is where I was blown away. Portion size, presentation and most importantly flavor! All three were great! That had traditional flavors and everything seems fresh. Overall really enjoyed!

I have had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant five times now, and each visit has left me absolutely astounded by the exceptional quality of both the food and service. In fact, I'm so enamored that I'm making it a weekly ritual to explore their diverse menu, which boasts an array of enticing options that make choosing just one a delightful challenge. What truly sets this place apart is its ability to cater to both vegans and non-vegans with equal finesse. I've brought along numerous non-vegan friends and family members, and without fail, they've all been taken aback by the fact that they couldn't discern any difference between the vegan dishes here and their non-vegan counterparts elsewhere. The commitment to excellence in flavor and presentation at this restaurant is truly commendable. Each dish I've had the pleasure of trying has been a symphony of taste, showcasing the culinary expertise that goes into crafting their menu. From savory entrees to delectable desserts, it's evident that the chefs here are passionate about their craft. Moreover, the service is consistently top-notch. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always willing to offer recommendations or accommodate special requests. In conclusion, this restaurant has become my go-to dining destination, and I can't recommend it highly enough, whether you're a dedicated vegan or simply looking to savor some outstanding plant-based cuisine. It's a culinary haven that bridges the gap between vegan and non-vegan palates seamlessly, promising a delightful dining experience for all. Don't miss the opportunity to indulge in the flavors of this hidden gem – it's a true food lover's paradise!

Seriously, the best Vegan Cuban food I have ever had. I just enjoy a Cuban Sandwich, I try and order one anytime I am in the area. Even if you are a meat eater you will be amazed how great they are. The food is fresh, hot, and of course made to order. If you have not had the pleasure you need to make your way here. All of the food is terrific. The staff goes the extra mile and it truly shows . A perfect spot for a first date, meeting with coworkers, or to grab a bite to eat before a concert. You won't regret it

Food here is amazing! Both vegan and delicious. The croquettas taste like actual meat along with the picadillo. I tried their fried mushroom and it had a nice crunch to it without being overly fried. All in all, a very scrumptious find next to a small park. The area also has some pokestops for Pokémon Go players and there's a small card shop next to it as well. A definite recommend.

I cannot AND I MEAN CANNOT recommend this place more. As a strict vegetarian family, we LOVED this place. The atmosphere is such a beautiful vibe, and the people who work there are amazing. 10/10. We would give this place an 11/10 if they had a heat component like jalapeños

Really awesome selection of 100% vegan cuban cuisine. Great online menu with photos of all their dishes as well. Standouts we’re definitely the plant based frita and abuelita’s flan, as well as the pineapple soda. Wish they were closer to downtown, but worth the trip.

Amazing food, we will definitely be coming back. I was gonna write that this place has the best vegan food, but honestly it has the best food i have ever had, period. Thr cubano sandwiches are to die for and you're safe choosing any appetizers, they're all yummy.

We came from out of town and decided to try since we are vegetarian. We had the picadillo with plantains and imperial rice and yuca. We also got the papa rellena. Everything we got was delicious and full of flavor. The portions are also generous. There is a cute covered, outside area with tables to eat and it was very comfortable and there was a large fan to help with the heat. The staff was very kind as well. Will definitely be back when we are in town. Highly recommend

I have no idea what such an amazing place is doing so far away from Miami proper. My friend and I are vegetarian but wanted to try vegan cuisine so we ended up making the drive to this place and we are so happy that we did. The frita sliders are a must try! We loved that more than our main course even. We tried the breakfast burrito and the cuban sandwich both of which were also great.

As a Cuban who grew up eating everything on this menu I am so impressed and happy its vegan. The seasoning and flavor of all these dishes are so authentic. This was my second time coming here a year later from Naples and its so worth visiting. I don’t know how they make the ham croquetas taste so good and real but they know what they’re doing. Service is also wonderful and I appreciate everything they do to keep it as eco friendly as possible. 6/5

Wow! Nothing but good things to say! Food was terrific!!! And the guy behind the counter was such a sweetheart! I wish I lived in the area I would be here all the time! I got the Cuban French toast with berries and Tortilla Espanola! My parents who are not vegan loved it! AMAZING! My heart is so happy!

Delicious vegan cuban food, like tia & abuelita used to make! Haven't had croquetas, cuban sandwiches, etc. for YEARS - the sensation when I first tried these is hard to describe. If you haven't tried yet, you're missing out! Can't recommend it highly enough!! Friendly staff, online ordering, and quick turnarounds a big plus.

First time visiting this location. I was at the Hilton for a business convention and wanted some great food. This place has great reviews so I took an Uber. They have a lot of options, the menu is qrcode so bring your phones and scan the code. They do not have indoor for guest, it’s a nice set up. It’s super cute outside, they have it decked out very nice. The soda was good. The lentil soup was just what I needed and the Cuban empanada was bomb! Good food for the body and soup. While leaving I saw some girls plate that looked bomb with the maduro and black beans. I would def go back and try some new things. Thanks for great hospitality.

This was our last meal on a 1 week trip to Miami and the Florida Keys, and I can say that we truly saved the best for last! They had a handful of gluten free options which was a plus as a GF vegan. I ate the chickpea croqueta too fast for pictures, and same with my wife and kids on their ham croqueta. Those were so good and we wish we had got more! They also shared the spaghetti which they loved. I've forgotten the name now, but I had a GF version of a sandwich that was really good and unique. We had never had cuban food before now, so everything was exciting and flavorful. We ended the night with the donuts which were great and we wish we had ordered more things to enjoy because we never know when we'll return. We wish they had indoor seating, but we ate our food at the small park right behind the shopping strip so our girls could play on the playground while we ate. It's very convenient.

I love this place. If you haven’t tried vegan food or haven’t had vegan food you like you have to try this spot. I truly believe they have the best tostada and one of the best ham croquetas in all of Miami (even though there is no ham in it). I can’t wait for them to open up their indoor restaurant. I wish they would open a location closer to me. I would definitely eat here more often if it was closer to home. I am a fiend for ham and cheese empanadas I will eat them everywhere that serves them. It’s hard to believe theirs is vegan! It’s totally delicious hard to believe it’s not real cheese in there!

This place is your typical (but not so typical) cuban "ventanita". They serve traditional cuban bakery foods, sandwiches, coffee, and smoothies--but with a twist-- it's vegan! I swear most of their foods you could not tell the difference between the two! I tried the Cafe con leche, croquetas, papa rellena, and their Cubano sandwhich. All delicious! Plus, this place has a few out door sitting spots!

I’m obsessed with Vegan Cuban!! I eat vegan primarily so I know vegan food - Everything I’ve ordered has impressed me. So delicious and fresh and I always can’t believe there’s no meat or dairy. Even my meat eating husband loves it here. We’ve become instant regulars.

Great (and perhaps only?) Place for vegan Cuban food! The place is in a non-descript shopping plaza in the back corner. There is no indoor seating, just a takeaway window but there are several picnic tables just outside. We had a Cuban sandwich, yucca fries, pumpkin flan and a cortadito Cuban coffee - all were yummy! Friendly staff but it helps to know a little Spanish. Would definitely go again!

What a cute place, and what a great niche need they fill! The Cubano is my go-to. The media noche is similar, but on sweeter bread, also good. The croquetas are as good as non-vegan ones, according to those who can eat both. I like knowing that I'm not missing out! Big fan of when they have the guava pastries though I haven't found the pattern for when that is or isn't... Super cute little outdoor seating area if you'd like to eat in, and takeout is available if not.

My soul sister brought me here and I’m so happy I was able to sample some of what they had to offer. I haven’t had this type of food in some time since I dropped meat from my diet. I do wish the food wasn’t lukewarm and that the Cuban Sandwich was pressed like how I’ve traditionally had them but it still had plenty of flavor. My favorite was the Papa Rellena and yuca. Look forward to coming back with my mommy one day. :)

WOW!!! This place is AMAZING!! I almost cried when I tried the papa rellena. I hadn't eaten a vegan papa rellena since my mom who's now in heaven used to make them for me. I agree with everyone else that the garlic sauce is incredible. The service is OUTSTANDING!! The prices are UNBELIEVABLE- I got so stuffed with a $4 papa. The coladita was delicious & only $2!! Just feels like comfort food. Really really nice! I can't wait to come back and try more food from the menu. Great job!!!! A+++++

Amazing food. My husband was extremely impressed it was all vegan! He says it tastes so similar to the real thing it’s almost hard to tell. Because of this place, I was able to finally try several Assam Cuban dishes I’ve never been able to have due to a severe dairy allergy. I can’t wait to bring family and friends!

We recently switched to whole food plant based diet and were looking for a place to "cheat" and enjoy ourselves while sticking to the spirit of our nutrition plan. Boy o boy were we glad to have stumbled upon Vegan Cuban Cuisine. The food was absolutely amazing! We had the chickpea croquettas, papa rellena, overnight oats, and another dish with scrambled "eggs". My wife is super picky with food and was apprehensive about the eggs and how the texture and flavor might be but all I can say is wow. The eggs tasted BETTER than the real deal and everything else was beyond expectations. Best of all no heavy feeling and sluggishness after such a meal. They are very mindful about they type of oil they use and ingredients being organic etc. Its funny, we would have probably never come here had we not gone "plant base" and missed out on some really good food. The service was warm, friendly and fast. The only improvement would be on eventually expanding to have a more accommodating dine in seating. There are a few tables outside but its mostly take out. I'm the type that prefers to eat my food freshly made while it's hot and would probably come with a large group if there was more seating. Their food is certainly worthy of a more comprehensive experience! A++

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Vegan Cuban Cuisine, and I must say it was an incredible experience. I tried the Cuban sandwich, served with chips, the maduros, and empanadas, and everything was an absolute delight. What struck me most was the freshness and authenticity of every dish. The attention to detail in packaging and preparation truly sets this place apart. Knowing that I can savor delicious Cuban food while sticking to a vegan diet is a dream come true. Even my Cuban friends, who are accustomed to traditional Cuban cuisine, were pleasantly surprised by the incredible flavors this vegan twist offers. Vegan Cuban Cuisine has earned a special place in my heart and palate. It's a testament to the fantastic fusion of flavors and dedication to delivering an authentic Cuban experience, while catering to various dietary preferences. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delectable offerings!

So many delicious options. You really have to try one of everything! The Cuban sandwich is tasty and so was everything else we tried. Save room for dessert because their mylkshakes are a must. They only have outdoor seating at the moment which worked out for us but if you’re not used to the Fl heat, you might want to order to go.

Amazing 🤩 A small group of us stopped here on the way to the airport to eat lunch and also ordered some food to go. Absolutely delicious! *As of the date of this post they are doing renovations and you can’t sit inside. You have the option to sit outside on their patio or do takeout. They do have an accessible restroom. I wish this restaurant was in my area!

You can always get something delicious or nostalgic and Cuban Vegan at VCC. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious or has hit the spot, and I’ve tried most of the menu over time, even their new additions! Worth going out of your way to enjoy some VCC goodness. I’m really looking forward to their indoor seating when they complete it!

I’ve been waiting to try this place since I live pretty far south. It was a VERY hot day so there was some disappointment when we realized there was no indoor seating at the time. They had a nice outdoor seating area but it was 96 degrees out so we decided to order take out. 🥲 They had a self service digital ordering tablet which was super convenient and easy to follow. The food came fast, the server was super nice. We tried the American burger, yucca fries, piccadillo w rice and beans, and the ropa vieja. There was no lack of flavor in any of it. My daughter is a meat lover but she really enjoyed the food which was a surprise for sure. Only critique I can say for the yucca fries had absolutely no salt, and we weren’t a fan of the shape. But once we tried it with the sauces…it was like eating a whole different thing. THE SAUCES ARE AMAZING. If you don’t eat the sauce you’re missing out completely. The OJ was ok. Not the best. The guava pastelito was the best I have ever tried in Miami hands down. Not too sweet, tastes homemade. The pastry was soft and pure perfection. Overall great experience. I can’t wait until they get indoor seating to receive the full experience of this place.

The food was delicious and the service was fast. After I placed my order, the food was ready before the estimated time. I’m so happy my friend referred me to this place because when I’m craving Cuban food but don’t want to indulge in something fattening or unhealthy, this place is the PERFECT place for that. Love it and can’t wait to enjoy more food!!!

Cuban sandwich, 7/10 Croquette and cheese empanada, 6/10 Cilantro sauce, 7/10 Cuban sandwich was pretty good. Ordering system was okay, I do wish they had standard wait staff to the orders, hopefully that changes when the inside opens up. I don't think they take cash, which is odd and kept us from making a quick "second" order on our way out (stickers). The sauce situation though, I like sauce and I received a thimble sized cup, while another received a rather large cup of sauce, probably 4-5 times the size of my sauce cup. Lol. I don't know, food was decent, I would go again, just hope since things improve in the future.

I liked the empanada, pastelitos, and masitas. The Imperial Rice was my favorite of all for its mix of flavors and textures. Ham Croqueta $2.50 Chickpeas Croqueta (GF) $2.50 Ham & Cheeze Empanada (1pc) $5.00 Imperial Rice (GF) $13.50 Cubano Sandwich with Chips $13.00 Guava & Cheeze Pastelito $3.50 “Meat” Pastelito $3.75 Side of Mushroom Masitas

Did a great job of embodying the Cuban food spirit. Hard to compare to cheese croquettas from other bakeries, but the croquettas were still bomb. Reccomend the ham ones. The other sandwiches were really good too! If you’re a core vegetarian and get grossed out by ham, don’t get the media noche but I personally liked the combo of flavors and all. It was dank 🤩

Oh my! This was a yummy and worthwhile trip down south. We couldn’t decide what to order and ended up ordering a lot. The COMPLETA, served with plantain chips was delicious, this was our way of trying the croquetas while trying their sandwiches. We had the “BEEF” EMPANADA, this was so yummy, wish we had ordered more of these. Make sure to order extra cilantro cream sauce, it is so worth it! We also had the PAPA RELLENA which is HUGE, crispy on the outside and pillowy on the inside, with just enough Picadillo inside. We ordered the SAUSAGE SPAGHETTI DISH… this was really good, tons of flavor, lots of pasta and the garlic bread on the side was a nice touch. Ah and how can I forget the TORTILLA, this was yummy, my mom devoured it, but I will give you some advice, if you do not like ketchup please ask them not to put it on… I didn’t get to try it because they added ketchup to it and for me, I like my tortilla with hot sauce only. We also tried the MANGO BATIDO, the MAMEY BATIDO and a CAFÉ CON LECHE we asked for all of these at different sweetness levels and each one came out perfect. I am not sure what’s left on the menu to try, but I know we’ll go back to find out. Before you go, make sure to check their business hours!!!
