When I tell y’all God is GREAT! The restaurant was closed and Mr. Edward was kind enough to wait for me and still make my order. This is the first time I EVER been to this restaurant and the hospitality is off the charts!!! Upon arrival I didn’t even have cash on me and Edward was patient enough to wait for me to run to the ATM. I came back and he made me fresh griot and even threw in some freshly fried plantain for me! This food is so damn good. All the food was fresh and a true experience. Y’all I only had Haitian food in my hometown NY, and he made this experience 20x better. Amazing customer service and amazing food! This won’t be my last time, you’ve definitely earned a loyal customer 💖💖💖 PS don’t mind the plantain in the picture y’all I was tearing it up 😭😭😭

I have had their legume before which is very flavorful. The plantain is really good too and not super oily which I like. I’ve had the griot a few times as well which is absolutely delicious paired with the rice and beans. The salad is always fresh and they are not stingy with the meat at all. The pikliz is very spicy though so beware.

My first time trying Haitian food and they did not disappoint fried Pork is delicious!!! Edward had great customer service, very clean and the hospitality was great!! 10/10. If you never had Haitian food this is the place to go!

Thoroughly enjoyed exploring Haitian cuisine. My friend ordered fried pork chunks which was just heavenly and dissolved in your mouth. I ordered conch meat in a stew and it did not disappoint. They serve abundant portions for the price and very kind customer service. Support small businesses!

Wow, after 15 years of not eating Haitian food. I just discovered the best Haitian food in Tampa. It is Moms Restaurant Haitian cuisine. I had the oxtail today, OMG. It was well seasoned with the appropriate amount of seasoning, not too much salt. It was just the right home cooking flavor. I recommend this to everyone. Pa gen lot encò. I live in Miami, I usually visit different Haitian restaurant to see how different they taste. Moms was such an amazing experience. The owner was so nice wow, his customer service skills are on point, I’m really big on great customer experience and he did an outstanding job. His food is worth every dollar he charge. I’m actually a very picky when it comes to Haitian restaurant , I expect flavor, authentic dish and his food gave me that and more.

It's a tiny place. Clean and full of Flavor. The food was the best Haitian food we ever had . The portions huge. The owners serve the food and they make you feel like family.

As many of you know there are not many Quality Haitian restaurants in Tampa so when I moved here from Miami THIS became my number one spot because the food and service are top notch! These people put their mind, body and soul into this food, so come here if you’re craving and you won’t be disappointed.

The environment is nice, clean and calm with friendly service. I had the griot meal which was made fresh. The meat was tender and not dry, plantain was perfectly crispy and everything was nicely flavored. It was a pleasure chatting with the owner, Mr. Edward! He’s very warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant! 😊

We LOVED EDWARD‼️ was looking for some Haitian food and this was perfect. The oxtails were superb😮‍💨‼️ and the GRIOOO😭 better than anyone else in Tampa.

My oldest brother has been telling me about this places for months. Just returned back from DC and decide today was the day me and my wife try it out. We got the Griot Dinner and when I tell you!!! 10/10!!! The food was amazing, hot, and extra fresh. Pikliz were really good and very spicy!!! The Pork was so tender and perfect with the oxtail gravy!!!! They have a new loyal customer!!! Highly recommend this place!!! My only regret is not coming sooner. Thank you so much for the great customer service and amazing food!!!

I highly recommend by far one of the best places to experience Haitian Cuisine at its finest. The food there tastes great reminds of that authentic taste on how real Haitian food should taste. By far the best in the Tampa Bay area. Owner is a wonderful person great guy to talk to his insight on life is remarkable.

Lovely owner ❤️ very personable and generous. Food has great presentation as well. Food prices $$ are hefty but worthy Healthy size helping. We will be back. Downside is they still don't allow eating inside. Otherwise still a 5 star review !

I'm from Lakeland and every time I'm out of town I like stopping at Haitian restaurants to eat my native food. This time I was in Tampa I look up Haitian restaurants near me and Mom's restaurants and few others pop up I decide to go with Mom's and I'll tell you as soon I walk into the place I felt at home. Clean the stuff very friendly and the food amazingly good to top it off I've gotten two of my favorite drinks freshly made ill definitely recommend this place 👌🏾 will definitely come back when I'm in town .

Their food is just awesome. It tastes so good and everything is so fresh. There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about this restaurant. Once you try it, trust me you will go back. The space is nice and calm. It's also really clean. On top of that they are so nice, friendly, and welcoming. Many Haitian restaurants lack good customer service but not them. They make you want to come back. If you are looking for a welcoming environment to get real Haitian food, trust me this is the place.

This has to be the best Haitian spot in all of Tampa Bay! We came out from St.Pete with only 5 minutes left before close and we were treated like royalty! 10/10 customer service!!! The food is amazing and the portions are generous. Highly recommended

Best Haitian food in Tampa. Authentic to the core. I have been here 8 years from Miami and it's hard to find good authentic Haitian food. The service is emaculate. The small family owned restaurant would get more stars if I could. And they had a bean sauce most restaurant don't serve. I will definitely be back and 100% recommend.

Owners were incredibly friendly. I came in originally to order food from myself, got in my car and smelled it and I just had to go back in for a second order for my family. I’ve gone to several Haitian restaurants all over Florida. This is easily the best. Don’t sleep on this place people!!

Best Haitian food I had in a while griot was perfect, tender with no bones and they give you a healthy portion. Owner was very friendly he definitely made you feel at home. 10/10 definitely coming back.

I ordered the fried goat dinner dinner the other day..while it was a bit pricey the food was cooked fresh..and I was given LARGE portions..I ate it for breakfast lunch & dinner to give you an idea..hands down the best Haitian food in Tampa..and I was able to actually meet the woman the resteraunt is named after🖤

My family and I had a wonderful experience. My family ordered the chicken stew, the fish, and a couple haitian sodas. All was delicious! The staff was friendly. It felt like going home and talking with family during our visit. I will definitely return when ever the opportunity presents itself! I don't have pictures, but the food looks just like the ones that have been posted on the website. Also, the restaurant was clean and had a very intimate vibe.
