This review is based on working with Dave Tilley; however, my impression is that everyone else there is also excellent. Before going to Champion for PT, my knee was bothering me a lot -- it always hurt a little, and even a short (3 mile, mostly flat) hike could be excruciating. Nothing I'd tried (including another PT) had helped much. After a couple months of working with Dave, I'm feeling a lot better, and the real test is that I was able to do a pretty big multi-day hiking trip this weekend. I'm very happy with this outcome. Before working with Dave, something like that would have been completely out of the question for me. I'm clearly not done yet (still some pain, especially ascending/descending 3500ft in one day!) so I'm going to continue working with Dave to get even better. A few things to note about the approach: 1. They don't take insurance. Maybe you can get your insurance to pay, maybe not. (Mine paid a little.) But either way it's worth it. 2. Dave is not too interested in spending a lot of time with me; instead relying on me to do workouts myself at my gym. This keeps the cost down. I haven't done the math but it might be less than the copays would be at a PT that did take my insurance. 3. Dave is extremely responsive to email. This helps me get questions answered and problems solved even when I'm not seeing him every week.

This was nearly a 3-hour drive based on a recommendation from a friend. It was absolutely worth it and this facility did not disappoint. The people are friendly, outgoing, and extremely knowledgeable. Dan, Dave, and all the staff that supported my Daughter and I are fantastic. They broke us down based on our habits, based on science, based on lifestyle, and finally based on our personal goals. From there a routine was developed and I can't say enough about how helpful that is when you are used to doing things on your own. Highly recommended.

I started training at Champion three years ago and I am so glad that I did! As a US Masters swimmer in my 60's I needed injury prevention as much as to build athletic strength for competition. Champion delivered on both counts. I highly recommend Champion.

Champion was recommended to me by a sports doctor I’ve worked with in Chicago and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience. I received PT from Champion for a few months for both an ankle and a shoulder injury. My therapist, Kevin, was absolutely amazing. Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and very enjoyable to work with. I could significantly see/feel the difference and healing with the care I received. I 100% recommended Champion to any and all types of people, especially athletes. Thank you Champion and especially Kevin!!

I've worked with both Mike and Lenny (and Dennis), and they are all excellent. I've been rehabbing my knee after my second knee surgery and my recovery had been amazing. I've made progress on things I haven't had since my first surgery 5 years ago. They make themselves available to you whenever you need advice and are prompt and thoughtful with feedback. Great spot for physical therapy!

I've been coming to Champion for almost six months now; diagnosed with moderate arthritis in the knees it was, "find a good strength and conditioning program or face the prospect of knee replacement in the near future". Dewy got me going on a perfect program geared precisely for my goals. I've never felt stronger and my overall health and wellbeing has vastly improved (and I've dropped over 12lbs!) The entire staff is fantastic - knowledgable and always there to help guide you or offer improvement, and all with a friendly manner! The space and equipment are great too. After trying many area sports clubs over many years (some no longer in business) I have truly found THE place I want to be.

Champion PT & Performance is a gem. Everyone on the team is top notch, experienced and professional. They have helped extend my career and stay out of pain. ( Shout out to Kristy especially for her support, knowledge and positive encouragement!! ) Whether recovering from an injury, working on improving overall fitness, or striving towards a competitive goal, Champion will get you there safely, and help you stay doing what you love.

Champion has totally changed my workout experience. The relationships I've been able to develop with the staff are incredibly valuable. I came in hoping to get ready for my college Field Hockey season, and every summer I leave having exceeded any and all expectations I set for myself. I've never had such a great time working out!!!

Champion PT+P is awesome. Mike and Lenny are both great and know exactly what they are doing. Knowing that they both have so much experience ensures me that I am in great hands. It is especially cool knowing that Mike has worked with the Red Sox in the past, so that really makes me feel more comfortable in their hands. I recently had Tommy John surgery and these guys were recommended to me. Now I am recommending them myself just 4 weeks later. I have no doubt that with their help I will make a full recovery and come back even better than I was before.

I have been participating in bootcamp since November 2014 and I love it! The class is challenging, the instructors are knowledgeable, and the other participants are supportive. I have started and quit many other programs but something has kept me engaged here for over eight months. While my particular class is mainly women, when I have worked out with men at Champion there is no sexism that is sometimes present in a gym. Everyone is treated the same and the expectations are high on what you should be able to do, regardless of your gender, size, age, etc. I am incredibly pleased to have built so much muscle and strength. I feel great!

Champion PT and performance is the go to location in the Boston area for all things performance. The staff is high energy, full of knowledge, and able to create results for athletes and adults of any age. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! You won’t regret visiting Champion PT and performance.
