As a premise, I really do like this gym and their staff. I have been going to this gym for 2 years now and I have been boxing since I was a kid. I've used boxing as stress relief as I have had a lot of issues recently and boxing gets my mind off the stress. Ive had times where staff politely asked me to stop boxing as a group session would start and i would always oblige with no problems. Today, I get a trainer with a foul mood that grabs me by the shoulder to tell me to stop swinging the punching bag while i have my headphones in...how can you stop a punching bag from swinging if your hitting it? Then I ask his name which was Tanner and continues to banter about how I might hurt someone. If if liability is a concern, then take all the bags down. He even demonstrated how to "hit" the bag not just to patronize me, but he showed me he was being a hypocrite by hitting and swinging the bag.... I proceed to tell him if he persists on bothering me, I may decide cancel my membership as this has never been an issue for me, i dont like being spoken to with a tone as if im being apprehended for shoplifting and making a bigger deal about a very small problem. Word for word, he told me to "Go ahead and cancel dude, ill even help you" and even stopped his client in the middle of a training session just to escort me to the front to cancel with the manager. If you want to retain the good reputation to this gym, please consider on training Tanner, he might be able to treat his friends and family like that but this is a business and customers should not be shoved out the door because he doesn't know how to treat people with respect.

Very disrespectful and poor customer service starting on the management level (I hope they record the calls so they can see what kind of service is provided to the customers). After talking to 3 different managers, 2 of them found extra charges done to my credit card, I was asked to go to the location personally and still didn't get my refund. Do not waste your money!!! there are several options in the area with better service.

The yoga instructor Holly has a very nasty attitude. She feels entitled because she works there to treat paying customers however she wants. When I went to the store manager about her, she got nasty with him as well and nothing has been done. It’s really sad because I attend the classes frequently and all the other instructors have always been so nice and helpful. I also never received my giftcard I was told a year ago I would for referring a friend even though I went to management twice about this. I’m going to cancel my membership and go where I’m respected and and has more professionalism. This gym is a joke.

I am very happy with the crunch fitness. People come an really workout an focus. The workers an trainers are bomb too. Lots of good looking men an women to look at. Parking is amazing unlike the one in snellville. Much more space. Equipment on point. Very clean inside an out.

I wish I could give zero star. I wanted to terminate my membership and I was told 30 days notice was required and I had to be at the facility personally, when I talked to a manager about this over a call, who was very rude to begin with. When I went there to sign the credit card payment, they told me to pay for 50 days. They count 30 days not from the day you give notice to them, it’s counted from the day your credit card was charged. So if you joined the gym on 25th of month and you went to give them a 30 days notice on 27th of same month. Your 30 days will start from the next month of 25th, so you will be paying for almost 58 days. They just try to get your money.

I work in the area and I decided to visit this location for the first time! Everyone that works there are super nice, but the cleanliness of the place it's really bad, every single machine is covered with a combination of moist dust and it looks NASTY graime kinda like, gooey almost, in top of that treadmills are all covered with sweat dust combo as well it's honestly disgusting,I couldn't stand it and I was there only 20 minutes,The place definitely needs someone to deep clean the machines, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there, unless you like this kind of environment, The men's locker/restroom seems like it hasn't had the floors washed in a while, they have a sign on the wall that states that someone every day deep cleans the restrooms ,witch I thought it was funny and contradictory to how it looks, I hope the management will put attention to this, I moved from planet fitness because crunch seemed better but I'm thinking about going back,at least planet fitness is super clean all the time!

I usually visit the Buford location on weekdays, but today I came to the John's Creek location. I'm giving it a low rating due to the cleanliness of the machines. They were covered in dust and grime, and it wasn't just one machine; many of them were in poor condition. I didn't report it to the staff because I doubt they would do anything, as it seems many if not all of the machines haven't been cleaned for months. Other than this problem, the gym is fine, and I enjoyed the yoga class. I hope the management reads this and takes steps to improve the cleanliness of the machines through their cleaning crew.

Just like Nathan, I was treated very unfairly and to an extent a bit of racism with Tanner. I have an app where I follow my workouts for the day and it tracks the breaks between each set. As I was waiting for my next to set (since it was a heavy lift day, the break was 1:45 minutes long), Tanner approached me claiming that I was just stalling and not even working out correctly. He then proceeds to take over the machine for him and his client. I was in quite in shock. I told him I was not done and I had two more sets left, in which he responded with “I don’t care and to be honest, you’re just wasting time here. Go and eat some tacos instead” I was really shocked and angered. I kept my head cool and decided to leave. I’m considering cancelling my membership or I may just never come back to this location again. I hope the establishment does something with Tanner as this is not the first time he offends and disrespects customers.

A year ago I use to love this gym so much even with Active and Fitness Direct , I still paid for it (had a corporate membership). Over time this location in particular have be so money hungry and the satisfaction of their patrons have stopped being priority. Today was the last nail in the coffin. Today my frequent partner had forgot his ID to get in . I understand now they are enforcing IDs but a year ago if it was nothing too frequent the old staff would not dare inconvenience me to drive 30 min away to go get it. Instead I was introduced with a offer to get him a membership instead (trying to push a sale). At that point I promptly cancelled my membership and do not regret it a bit especially since I can get it for FREE. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else this ain’t what it use to be .

The Karen at the front desk didn’t allow my husband to use his upgraded membership, where you have to access to any location & can bring a guest, simply because I already had the basic crunch membership at another location. Instead, she asked me if I wanted to upgrade or pay $10. This policy incentivizes people to cancel their membership, so they can be brought in as a guest. The policy doesn’t make sense and it has never been enforced at other locations we have been to. At the end of the day, I pay for a crunch membership and it’s not that serious. John’s creek staff has a bunch of Karens— not our kind of gym.

Had an awesome one to one kickboxing lesson with Hunter the trainer, instructor and I loved it!. His warm up was excellent, then explained every step with a lot of patience and understanding , he's very knowledgeable of the sport and progresses along with your ability. The gym is very clean, has tons of equipment, a lot of classes, very pleased

Exhausting day at work, exhausting house hold work, challenging day, awesome day, ok day???… I come here anyway. It gives me the best energy, and new enthusiasm. No Judgements… No Limits. I love your group sessions Ms.Terri, Ms.Joanna, Ms.Aida and Ms Buffy… Thanks is a very small word for what you have given. Their Billing system is an issue one cannot deny. With one flaw… I would give Crunch Johnscreek a five for giving life to my life.

I have to say, I am only writing this Review for Stephan the general manager at crunch fitness, after serval weeks of no answers he really stuck through with me trying to get a refund for my duplicate account. And I am definitely far from an easy person to work with when it comes to my anger. Both Stephan and Tory are lovely lovely managers. Stephan took time and money out of his own pockets to help my fix this situation. I am more than extremely grateful to him. 5 out of 5 for Stephan.

I just started back to working out (since social distancing), and all my experiences with my new fitness place, Crunch Fitness-Johns Creek, have been wonderful. Anna greets me at the front desk, answers all questions, always remember my name (even within a week of being new), and truly is a wonderful ambassador for this company. Anna and Stan always say "Hi" which hasn't been the case with other workout places. There is a huge amount of equipment, and cardio. I haven't started back to the classes, but I've checked what they have to offer, and it covers my needs. Also, they have spray bottles, and paper towels everywhere to keep as clean as possible. They also have enough equipment, that if someone gets a bit too close, I just move onto another one.

A great gym!! Went in today and met Matt at the front desk, he was awesome and super nice answering all my questions. This gym has a great atmosphere, tons of equipment with something for everybody. It’s huge and very spacious as well. Great vibe, great staff and happy to be training there. 💯👍 5 stars!

These places are fine for the price but they're just way too overcrowded. Basically only one of each machine so it makes it hard to get a good workout in unless you're there when it's dead. Definitely done after my 3 months commitment.

I’ve gone here for less than a month, but this is a ridiculously nice gym. The staff is great, they’re all really friendly and helpful. There’s also a ton of new equipment, and lots of machines I’ve never seen before. It’s nice to find a place that has lifting platforms in addition to all the new equipment/machines! I can literally do every kind of workout here with the space and equipment, including martial arts with the heavy bags and group fitness room. It’s totally worth coming here, no matter what level of fitness you’re at. No judgmental people, and again the staff is so great.

The actual gym is nice with great selection but where it falls short is the mens restroom / showers / sauna. It seems like they’re maybe cleaned once a week with the showers smelling like sewage and flys coming from the drain. Sauna also looks like it’s never been clean

I am loving Crunch! I’ve got the top membership at a fraction of what I was paying at my other gym. My trainer has stepped up my exercise and is so personal every time I see him. The staff is friendly and I love treating myself to the massage chair after a good workout.

Dakota is the absolute best! This location received a whole bunch of new plate loaded equipment and he took time out of his day to teach me how each machine works and each muscle group it targets. Thank you Dakota, best Crunch location!

I went to this location for the first time as a guest and I really enjoyed it. The customer service was very welcoming. They had a lot of sanitation bottles and paper towel stations. There was enough equipment to use even if it was super busy. I always end the workout with the hydro massage chair. I definitely recommend this location. I do wish there were more locations because this one was 20 minutes away from me but overall 10/10.

Great staff, very friendly and well trained. They wasted none of my time transferring here from another crunch. They have all of the equipment you could need. It isn’t five star because although the selection is wide, some of the equipment is old and there isn’t much space to work with. All around good gym. Love the sauna :)

The equipment is well cared for and the facilities are kept neat and clean. The employees are enthusiastic and once you’ve been a few times they are quick to remember you. The Yoga instructor is absolutely fantastic! Informative, chill, and easy to follow.

I love my trainer Jason Conyers! He is fantastic. Motivating, accountable and fun! I highly recommend asking for him to meet all your fitness goals. The reason for only 4 stars is that the gym really does need some deodorization! The mat area in the back, smells something horrid! and now that the weather and the location is getting warmer, the rank smell can be smelled once you walk in.

This is the first Crunch I’ve been to in GA and it is on point. This crunch is full different equipment for which ever body part your working out. The workout bros and gals are all nice. This crunch has the legendary TBar row! This Crunch got what you need!

I’ve been apart of crunch for several years now and I will continue to be apart of this gym either here or even if I move because the staff here are so friendly. Matt is amazing, every time I come in and checks me in he has a big smile welcomes me back! He’s usually my go to if I have any questions about things around here and has helped me out each time! So thanks Matt and the rest of the team here for making this a great place to work out!

I was at Johns creek GA crunch fitness today Guy at the guest check in was so rude I walked out right away. I had my son as a guest with me he was being so rude to him. I was so mad I had to leave with my son right away. Your guest check in guy don’t need to talk to me and my son like he can teach me like that If he has a problem he need to find better way to communicate.

Love this gym. Coming here is by far my favorite part of my day. I drive 20 minutes to get here and it’s worth it every time. All of the equipment is state of the art and well maintained. Even still, the owners are constantly investing in renovations and new equipment to make the experience even better. In addition, the culture is exceptionally inclusive and empowering. While it does get busy in the evening, almost all members are considerate and willing to share equipment if asked. Considering the quality of what’s offered, the pricing is extremely fair, if not low. I highly recommend.

I’ve been with Crunch for 3 years now. I have been consistently going to the Athens location when I was in school, Chamblee location, as well as this one. The Johns Creek location is by bar the cleanest, nicest, and most friendly gym I have ever been in. The staff is accommodating and relatable. There is a strong sense of community here and I run into the same guys all the time and it’s a great place to workout regardless of your fitness goals. Jason and Rashad are always here and always great when I come in usually

Went to this gym for around 2 years. It was clean and kept up with but did get very very packed during busy hours. Would often have to wait nearly 20-30 minutes for a bench. The staff was generally nice albeit a bit pushy. I was asked if I would do a personal training session nearly every visit which got old since I repeatedly told them I wasn’t interested. I would recommend this gym to any beginner but prepare for it to be packed.

Hands down the best gym in georgia. I believe I've just about tried them all and that is the honest to God truth 🙏 I can bring a friend anytime I want and I have access to unlimited yoga including the hot yoga studio. I thoroughly enjoy Monique's hot yoga classes on Tuesday and Thursday along with the master Yogi Amy who's been practicing since she was like five every chance I can :-) I would say it's a three-way tie of spiritual enlightenment between the two previously mentioned and Candice which I will be attending her class tomorrow morning 😇 the staff is always super nice of course the gym is always good and clean and the equipment always gets fixed quick if it breaks.

Love the location, and desk staff always greet you upon arrival and say goodbye as you leave. Only negative is that is has outgrown it's space. There are way too many people there for the small space. Going after work after 5 or 6 has become a chore to get to a parking space, much less a machine, and the sauna is usually not working, it's either turned off or to cool for a sauna. They packed in more machines to accommodate the extra members, but what they need is a larger space. A lot of the Paper towel holders are empty during prime time, leaving you to search for paper towels, then you lose your chance to get on a machine that became available. I started to go at 9 PM but it was even more crowded on a work night. Go figure. During the day I am sure it's fine, but for those who work regular business hours and go after work, it's a bit of an issue. I'd give it more stars if it was not so crowded. Needs to move to a larger space. Was hoping it would buy or lease the space that it shared a wall with. The desk staff and location are great, it's just become way to crowded, and not a very healthy situation especially during flu season.
