I always have an issue getting my correct prescription. Pharmacists are short and unfriendly. When I asked a question on why the prescription they gave me was different than the one my doctor wrote, they handed me the bag without counselling on a new script. Very irresponsible and unethical. The only reason I switched to this pharmacy is for insurance reasons. Would not recommend Tumwater Walmart pharmacy

Dr asked odd questions that seemed inappropriate. Dr refused to fit/order Acuvue brand contacts for his own personal reasons. He fitted me with an off brand that irritated my eyes. Insisted that I make a follow up appointment which I could not do in time frame he said had to happen. Lost over $100 paid that day due to not being able to get back in his time frame and he only works 2days per week. Paid over $100 and got nothing but the one pair of contacts that irritated my eyes and that I can't wear. My work schedule is too busy for two eye appointments that close together. If I was told that there would be two appointments when I booked, then I would not have booked there. When I expressed my concerns, there were no care. I will never go back there again. Had to save up more money and made an appointment with a different eye clinic.

After dozens of issues with this pharmacy, I'm finally forced to transfer my prescriptions somewhere else. I've almost never gotten my rx's on time, citing issues that don't even make sense, and that they don't make any effort to resolve. Isn't it important people get their medications? Isn't it the job of a pharmacist to get prescriptions filled and work with insurance? Instead they have you call around for them, only for your doctors/insurance to tell you the pharmacy is the only issue. Doesn't really seem like anyone here cares, and disabled people that need medication to live and function suffer as a result.

2 hour wait time for simple eye drops and then the cost was outrageous the same eye drops at riteaid were far cheaper I'll never get my prescriptions filled at Walmart unless it's a last resort.

Messed up the dosage on my meds which caused me to run out a month and a half early, and insurance would not covered the 1000$ worth of meds. Talked to someone on the phone twice and in person twice and they all said they would get it sorted out, but nothing happened each time. Not using this pharmacy anymore. As far as I'm considering you all owe me money.

This pharmacy sucks. I waited on hold for over an hour just to see if my prescription was filled. Never got an answer. So I went in. One lady told me it would be 20 mins and I was like ok I’ll go grocery shop. I come back 20 mins later waited in the longest line ever. And a different lady told me they were out of stock. I am extremely frustrated.

By far the worst pharmacy in the world! Most of the pharmacists at this location are dismissive and rude, But the pharmacist there named Kathy or Cathy with Blonde hair she always wears it up in high big bun is so rude & she tried so hard to deliberately not fill my sons acne medicine! My Son is already suffering from anxiety and depression because he’s getting bullied so badly at school & his acne makes things even harder for him, I’ve been using GoodRx card since 3 months & instead of paying $700 for his medication good RX discount is it for a $220 & at every other pharmacy I filled my sons medicine I have had no problems, But this Walmart Pharmacy Deliberately goes out of their way to find problems. Also & most importantly they do not do there Job & then they blame you or your doctor for there wrong doings. They Don’t call the doctors office to verify information they need in order to fill prescriptions! Rather, they just wait for their customers to get to the counter and then they say that they can’t fill it because they don’t have the information they need! The fact is that THE PHARMACY NEEDS TO CALL THE DOCTORS OFFICE TO GET WHATEVER VIN NUMBERS OR WHATEVER THEY NEED!!! And even when you go and do their job for them and call the doctors office and get the information they need faxed to the pharmacy they still try not to fill the prescription because if they do they are basically admitting they was wrong the first time... I had to Call the My sons dermatologist 3 times ! Over the course of 3 days, and 3 times the doctors receptionist sent over the fax that Walmart pharmacy needed to fill the prescription and they still tried to not fill the prescription ! At this pharmacy they do not care or acknowledge that their customers are people who might be hurting and going through pain..... You know how some pharmacist try to find every loophole to help you get your prescription, and they try apply a discounted rate ? Well, at this Walmart pharmacy in Tumwater these people try to use every loophole to NOT ! Give the patient there medicine & then after going back 3 to 4 times to get the medicine they will try there best to Not honor coupons or help their customers get their medication at a lower price..... So in closing this long review, After trying to fill my sons medication for three days and then finally getting it through, having to drive back-and-forth needing to call the doctors office three times, in which the receptionist at the doctors told me she hates working with the Walmart pharmacy in Tumwater because they do this to a lot of people! So finally I was able to get the prescription filled and I was at the counter getting checked out, Kathty decides to but in and tell me how they are not able to honor the good RX card, and saying that it’s IMPOSSIBLE, And that it didn’t matter because I used to put our extra, And that it didn’t matter because I used the good RX card three other times, And that If I wanted to fill my sons prescription today that I needed to pay $700 instead of $220 and that if I didn’t like it I was free to go somewhere else!!! So, as she was telling me this, the pharmacist who was checking me out from the start & who works under Kathy was able to cut her off and told her that she was able to use the discount card. So Kathty got stuck with her tail between her legs! And still after she’s looking at the computer going over it again and again and telling the other pharmacist that she must have did something wrong to make it work !!! So my honest review is do not waste your time filling at the Walmart pharmacy in Tumwater. Take Kathty‘s advice and go somewhere else ! I know I will !!!

I have been going to this Wal-Mart for 7 years. And have had nothing but great and professional service. They are fun and not stuffy. They are professional and when they say they will have your stuff ready at this time they always . they are help and I'm thankful for them. I moved about 20 miles away about 3 years ago and I still go to the WALMART IN TUMWATER. THANKS GUYS

Pharmacy staff has always been very helpful and friendly! I transferred over from the Westside Rite-Aid after 20 years because the management had become horrible. Walmart stepped in and made transferring all my prescriptions simple and easy. It never takes more than 24 hours to fill them and I can do refills on line. Wonderful staff!

Samantha from pharmacy is extremely rude and unwilling to help anyone unless she's forced to by her supervisors.
