We shop here about once a month, maybe less. We like their bakery and meat selection. We don't usually shop around the store, we have our normal items that we think are good deals that we buy in bulk. They have the occasional good sale we'll pick up if we see it. The staff is usually very friendly, we just personally don't like how crazy crowded it seems to always be and I wish they'd open earlier.

I love Costco but not this location, parking lot too small and the store itself has to be one of the smaller footprints that Costco has across the US. Lines for the self checkout quickly run up the aisle and things just feel very tight and compact.

Not exactly sure why they need to be so uptight about their membership. I have multiple people living under one roof using my membership. The other day my husband goes and tries to buy a whole cart full of items and is ready to check out until a lady decided to ask to see his membership. He showed her on the app that he’s logged in, but since the picture doesn’t match with his face, she told him he cannot shop here and made him leave. That’s absolutely ridiculous. We pay for our membership and we can’t even use it? So whenever we need something from Costco only 1 person can go and get it? At least inspect memberships at the door instead of wasting peoples time and letting people fill up their carts and then telling them that they cannot check out. If they’re so worried about people not living under one household sharing membership then maybe they should raise their prices or come up with a better system. You’re better off shopping at Sam’s Club, they don’t make things more complicated than it needs to be.

Sundays are not the best day to go,, unless you get there before church let put and families wake up later. Gets very crowded quickly. Love their quick taste food and all the organic items they have.

The famous chocolate cake , that my husband and I adored for special occasions, is gone! The original consisted of 3 layers of moist chocolate cake, creamy fudge frosting layered between and covering the outside. It was finished with a generous covering of dark chocolate shavings. It was heaven on earth!! Today we bought our last. To say we were disappointed is an understatement! In Costco's goal to cut cost, while the price of the cake remained the same, they've destroyed the quality! The cake is literally half the size, cheap cake, cheap frosting, a pudding? filling and not a flake of dark chocolate shaving. Just dried out cake crumbs on the side. However, they still sell it in the same size container

It’s clean. I love the food specifically. The pepperoni pizza 🍕 when it’s fresh is so good! The workers are good at making the food and it seems like they have good communication (but I don’t know about the workers other than the kitchen). The deals are very good too! And the samples…delicious! 😋 It seems like a very strict establishment. My sister went with my dad’s membership card and she went all the way through the store to the cash register to find out that she needed him there. She had to leave with nothing. So if you’re trying to use another family members membership don’t do it.

Sent my husband to Costco to stock up on heavy items such as cases of water and powder detergent for our business. They didn’t bother checking his membership at the door. Instead they let him stock up a full cart and wait in line at check out just to get to the register and tell him he cannot use our membership because my photo is on it and not his? Their membership gives out 2 cards. I gave one to my mom who lives with me and I have one. It’s ridiculous that they won’t allow people who live in the same household to use the same membership. Come up with a better system. At least check addresses or something. Also, their employees are never nice or speak to you in a friendly manner. Most of them seem miserable at their jobs.

Parking and in-store crowds were extreme on this Friday. Line moved decently quickly though. Cashiers are inconsistent with policies. Some make you clear your own cart, the next one says to let it in. One says 3 subtotals is the max per receipt, the next will do more...

Great photos, helpful friendly staff. Quick in and out if you order online. Only possible negative is that the only edit you can do on their website or at the store is to crop. So I always edit my photos before downloading.

Great prices if you want bulk items. Gets full on a Monday, but I give props to the check out ppl. They are fast and help out if you need a hand. Would of giving five stars if not for the full parking lot and so many ppl. Maybe a Wednesday is better?

The deals are great and the warehouse has always been clean when I've gone. The only thing that would make this a 5 star location instead of 4 would be wider aisles to keep traffic moving a little better. Staff here has always been courteous and seem to be enjoying their work, which is much different than the club I used to be a member at.

I had to get propane and it was cold day. Unfortunately the parking at this place is always packed no matter what time you go. I had to park in the parking lot close to the gas station and carry my 30lb propane tank a far distance. I set my tank down and rang the bell and waited not one mechanic (they fill the propane tanks) called out to me for a while so I rang the bell again and finally one of the mechanics told me they would be with me in minute. Well I don’t think this particular mechanic could tell time because a minute came and went. As I was waiting another customer came to pick her tank up. Finally a mechanic came out and asked if any of us was just picking up, the customer that came after me for her tank was just picking hers up. No problem I understand it was quick… then came my turn and the mechanic looked at me and said “ I need to go and get some keys” then he walks away from. Didn’t help me left me standing there in the cold. Finally another gentleman not one of the mechanics came and filled my propane tank. This is not the first time I was treated like I was invisible by these mechanics who are suppose to be the ones to fill up the tanks They had no problem letting a senior citizen stand in the cold. Unbelievably rude and completely inconsiderate. Costco needs to train some their mechanics and professionalism. Horrible and inconsiderate treatment from those mechanics on more then one occasion.

We mostly get lamb and fish from here. Their mac and cheese is bomb. Customer service is great. I wish they'd add an alcohol department, but I get this is Lancaster county. Added a few photos of the finished products, of meat cooked from here.

Great shopping venue for so many items in Lancaster, PA---food, household, gifts and so much more! I have been a member since 1996! Great products, great values on so many items. Handicap Parking and scooters too, for those who need one. Good customer service too! I go almost weekly!

I love going to Costco for a few reasons. Gas is an incredible price especially with the way times are now every penny counts. I also love going to the store because you get great deals on a lot of food and non food items which in bulk helps save a lot of money and time.

A good thing over used. Parking is crowded. Checkout is always understaffed. Stupid line to get out after you checkout. Maybe almost worth it if you have a large family. Otherwise go somewhere else. Note this is for Hempstead location. Pretty obvious management here does not care about customers wait time. I use pharmacy and try to go during off times.

It’s always packed busy here but I also leave with a mini Costco to take home of my own! I always have a good experience with store associates and never seem to wait to check out very long no matter how many people are in line! Great experience all around with consistency!

Lucky I wasn't there but first let me say this won't stop here till I get this person out!!! At the door checking memberships today yell at my father told him he could not go in since he had my mother's card which he had in error he is a senior and she had no right to speak to anyone that way I don't live there but will be around soon learn to speak to people when u address anyone

Stocked up on things we need & many things were on sale. One of our favorites us the Kirkland Italian meatballs. Delicious & fully cooked, so easy to use.

Costco is known for warehouse pricing and offering goods in bulk. This store does all that. The only detractor is how busy it is. While that speaks to the popularity, it is not a pop in and out place after a long day at work. I've been twice after work and just waded through the people.

Was very pleased with the variety and low pricing, but the real value are the multiplied membership benefits. They put all these together and give you many options. The membership guy was very thorough and focused. A good deal for food and household materials. Check it out!

Well organized club with multiple sampling stations. It was extremely crowded, but the lines moved fairly quickly including the self service register. Because it located in PA Dutch country you will find Amish and Menonite shoppers there along with hitching posts for their horse drawn buggies. Typical food court. Friendly associates.

I just joined Costco after a 8 year hiatus. I definitely missed this place. It is the best place to buy quality bulk items like cereal, yogurt and meat. There are many other great bulk items that are name brand. I got air born vitamin C cold medicine. I got 2 tubes which contain 22 disks. The checkout team is very friendly and professional. It was very crowded today. Prices are certainly higher.

Omg, Soon as you walk in the door, the vast selection of household items, kitchen gadgets, holiday gifts, tons of assortments of wrapping paper, various types of clothing, short, tall. Once you get to the food selection, your mouth is going to drop wide open. The prices are amazing

Just changed my phone services with the Wireless Advocate kiosk, and Bud was EXCELLENT!! He help my wife and myself work through our tech challenges with bringing my own line and then purchasing and adding a phone. He was patient, walked us through step by step, knowledgeable, and helped us through the whole process including review of our rebates/rewards. Thanks for all your help Bud!!

We receive the best customer service at Lancaster Costco. They have a great selection of domestic and imported products. Their meats are worth buying. We miss the cab steaks they use to carry, so tender and juicy. Please bring them back!!!!! They change some products to give you a variety. We also get great prices on eyewear, the selection on glasses is fabulous. They have nice looking, good quality clothes too! We get rewards just for buying what we use!

This was only our 2nd trip ever to Costco, but we really like the availability of products and pricing for quantity. All associates are very nice and helpful too. A lot of good options for fresh food and prepared foods. Definitely worth a membership!
