Nice place for coffee or to sit and relax. A true coffee shop or cafe, where you can actually sit down and relax. The music is probably picked by the baristas themselves and not from corporate. In this case the music was slow tempo scream-o. Distortion on the guitar and some energetic vocalist decorating the tune. I was in and out real quick my hot chocolate was amazing. At 8:30 in the morning there were many people in and around. There is a large seating area behind the barista bar. Very nice place to connect to wifi or have a conversation with a long time friend.

Both times that I’ve been in the coffee was amazing Barista Raine makes an amazing lavender latte and is always professional and friendly! A great coffee shop and great staff!

Best coffee shop in the neighborhood! The oats and honey latte is my go-to. The staff are excellent and you'll always feel welcome here. Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating making it a great place to work and meet up with friends.

This is a great place to hang out. I came here because I was looking for a chess friendly coffee shop (they don’t offer chess peaces so bring your own board and peaces). The inside is perfect for such a hang out. The barista at the time was very chill, nice and helpful. The location is on 21st avenue so you can plan to come here to grab some sandwiches and coffee (maybe even play chess♟) then afterwards you can head over to 23rd avenue and get some ice cream from salt and straw. I think that would be a cool time. Turkey pesto and grilled cheese were great.

Good quality espresso and drip. Most of their menu are very competitively priced, you may be hard pressed to actually find cheaper espresso or drip on 21st/23rd. Definitely worth a try 👍 Oh, and the atmosphere is SO comfortable. I would describe it as "chilling on a good friends couch" vibes 👌

Really great neighborhood staple for a solid Americano and pastry. The sandwiches are pretty filling if you’re working/studying through lunch. There’s outdoor seating too for when the weather’s nice out. Love it here!

It's the perfect spot to cowork, honestly. I really love all the seasonal drinks. I like the area it's located in. The desserts are just meh, but the coffee and season drinks are what I mainly come here for. ❤️Passion fruit hibiscus tea ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Coconut butterfly pea tea ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Such a fun place with later hours. My boyfriend and I had our first date there, then later lived in one of the 2 units above the shop. Great coffee and a cave-like atmosphere.

Coffee Time welcomes you to enjoy their different drinks and easy to make foods. It was a really cozy environment, the barista who took our order made yummy drinks and good food, and overall this coffee shop is another great spot to go to in Portland! Oh also this place is far cheaper than most options in the area!

Great place to remote work. Lovely staff who are very pleasant and there are plenty of power ports/ usb outlets and plugs available at the cafe to sit and work. No homeless coming in, safe and secure!

Beautiful, cozy coffee shop. The ambience is lovely. Lot of seating available with different themed rooms and comfortable ambient lighting. The Cafe offers wifi fast enough for any streaming and video conferences. Baristas were very friendly and the food was good too. Tried the Chai latte and breakfast burrito. Overall great experience.

This coffee shop embodies the spirit of Portland in every way. It's warm, quirky, welcoming, and wonderfully weird. Plus the coffee is great! This is also one of the few coffee shops in sleepy Portland that's actually open until 8pm. The baristas behind the counter work very hard to prepare your drinks and food quickly and accurately. Also, the front part of the cafe is dog-friendly and for that, I'm super grateful! If you need to do some studying or reading in a quiet space, head to the back area.

came in when my power was out because of the snow storm and i needed to do work for school and charge my phone. this place was insanely busy with other people also seeking warmth and electricity, but the two baristas were so nice and handled it like it was nothing. they were taking orders and making food and drinks for the entirety of the several hours i was there. they were so great!!

Cute coffee shop with good study vibes. I love the layout and decor (interior design junkie here). The stand-out feature was definitely the golden mylk latte, however. Not too sweet, or too savory, just perfect!

Tasty coffee, tasty food. Just a quick picker-upper whilst walking around Portland. What more could you ask for?

Best coffee shop in town to sip a hot drink and get some work done. It has a relaxed, friendly feeling. The baristas are all amazing people.

I got a hot chai and it was delicious with cinnamon on top. The barista was extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nice, especially the tables set up outside. Highly recommend! :)

I appreciate the solid atmosphere, solid coffee, and solid employees who work really hard to keep this place a running Portland tradition. When my home internet stopped working, they were a consistently reliable place for me to hole up and work. Thanks, Coffee Time!

Great coffee shop that stays open until 8pm, good drinks, they also have beers (how cool!), delicious looking sesame bagels (didn't have some) and friendly service.

I go here all the time! Great coffee, chill vibes, lots of seating, and gluten-free options (petunias pastries and sandwiches).

Spontaneously found this shop it is quaint the atmosphere is nice and subtle. The staff were very friendly. I wish I would had caught our baristas name I was beyond satisfied with he machiatto he made for me it was perfect it did not taste like overwhelming commercialized coffee this was the real thing! I think I feel in love with him for a minute or 2 🤣 And my mom's americano was excellent! I would definitely return but i no longer live in Oregon so untill next visit I hope they keep up the work

This place has awesome coffee, friendly staff... It's my favorite place to study and go on dates! My partner and I love going here (and we're the biggest coffee critiques there are). I love that they're open later than most places. It means a lot to an extreme nerd who studies constantly and can't find coffee places that are open past 3. Keep up the great work guys 💕
