Ok, totally surprised and excited to have found this diamond hidden out in the Indiana cornfields!!!!! Cannot say enough how delicious the food (biscuits and gravy....$5.75!!!!!!)..was/is and the coffee..🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 out of this world. But, I believe that is just the tip of this colossal iceberg in the middle of Indiana. Really, amazing and the staff...engaging, funny, witty...and sincerely nice. Loved the food and adored the shop, too many things to see and want or need. Definitely a must see/road trip!!!!

Oh my goodness their roast beef sandwich was out of this world. And we didnt even go there for the food. ha ha. I always passed this building on my way up to the lake when the building was vacant. Merchantile 37 is a prime example of how to properly repurpose an old space for a new life. The selections of items are quite varied and you can even peer into the workshop from various spots in the store. Great craftsmanship and what is sure to be a great business and draw for the area. Well done.

This was a really cool place. They have a lot of neat things in this place. Wood furniture, homemade earrings, bracelets, necklaces, tea, bourbon, and whatever else you might like. Most items in the store are made in Indiana. Did I mention the food? I had the Spicy Piggy for breakfast and it was delicious. I’ll definitely be back.

After decades of driving by this place since i was a kid, and seeing it restored, I finally made it in today & grabbed some coffee and a bagel from wheelers cafe. I am so happy someone took the time to restore this place instead of let it go to waste or be torn down. It was nice to sit outside and enjoy coffee on their cute patio! Would recommend and will make a point of stopping here again!

I was amazed at how busy the place was considering it's not near anything else. But it's worth the trip. It's a very cool place with lots of unique gifts made by local artisans. The food was very good and it's plentyful. The sandwich would be two meals pretty easily. I got the Veggie and it was really tasty. My friend got the Italian and had good things to say about it. The parking lot is easy in-and-out with lots of spaces. The people working there were very friendly and helpful.

Couple of weeks ago stopped at Mercantile 37 for lunch with a buddy while heading north. The sandwiches were flavorful and worth the visit alone. Ended up buying a bottle of liquor for my brother's 50th birthday celebration as well. Before I gave it to him heard him and his buddy discussing Old 55. What luck, he loved it.

Cute spot. Lunch was good & cafe service was great. The shop had unique items but I won’t bother making the trip again after being made to feel uncomfortable by an employee following my friend & me closely around the store.

The chicken salad sandwich was very good. It was large and plenty to eat. $2.50 for a can of soda seemed kind of expensive. We’ve been looking forward to going to visiting this place for a long, long time. It looks really cool being restored from the outside. I couldn’t wait to finish our lunch to go look in the shop. Unfortunately everything was very overpriced. A small 2‘ x 1‘ piece of wood planed was $129 . The prices seem to be at least triple what I would find anywhere else. We had planned on doing a lot of shopping, but walked out empty-handed. A lot of neat things to look at but it was more like going to a museum to look and not touch and then walk out. Overall, it was a fun destination and a neat place. Wish the prices were a little bit lower. I think they would sell a whole lot more.

Nick, and his team at Mercantile 37, went above and beyond in customer service and craftsmanship. When we asked about a custom stain match, they embraced the challenge. Nick shared his expertise about how stains will deepen and evolve over time. Our new dining room table is beautiful and is completely customized in size and color. We love the way it looks in our space as it blends seamlessly with our other furniture and yet, at the same time, it stands out as a new treasured center of our room. It was a pleasure to work with Nick and visit his workshop and store for inspiration. If you have an idea for a custom piece for your home, take your idea to Nick and enjoy the creative process. Thank you for the wonderful experience and beautiful end result!

We love this place so much and feel super lucky to live so close! Angie and Neal make THE BEST food. Some of our favorites are the biscuits and gravy (best ever), the Turkey sandwich (with bacon jam, yum), the Maple Lapel and Nobles Jones coffees (so good)!! The gifts and treasures from local artisans make the shop the best place to buy gifts (and gifts for yourself)! We just adore this place. It’s worth the trip; we guarantee it.
