Their chips and a nice variety of fresh made delicious salsas were very nice. They also had several choices of flavored Margaritas that boast fresh juices vs. from a bottle or can! I requested a non-alcoholic guava margarita which was exotic and very flavorful. The appetizer of waffle fries with creme, guacamole, tomato and jalepeno atop was a neat change up vs just chips. Duo taco plate of chicken and a veggie taco were very good and generously portioned. They packed a lot of flavor. Beans and rice accompaniments were ok. The warm caramel churros for desert were excellent! Everything was plated very nicely. The chefs are directly from Mexico so we had an authentic taste profile in the food served.

The people who are all working very pleasant...but we did not like any of our food sorry to say. 1.Burrito should have white onions, steak no good. 2. Chicken Quesadilla way to much cheese and sherded white chicken would be best not chunks. 3. Rice no flavor. Sorry! Outside needs more clean up messy tables, but the ground looks even worse .

Absolutely incredible! My fiance and I drove over here on a whim as a nearby restaurant open past 9pm. OD (owner? manager?) ROCKED. We stayed till close and he treated us so well. Delivered food to our table, let us try some virgin margaritas, made suggestions on the best tacos. I can't say enough good things about it. Definitely want to go back! And hoping to host an engagement party in their event space. Had a great selection of vegan tacos!!! And a great free taco deal on Tuesdays.

Taco Maya is the greatest indian-fusion mexican place I have ever tried! Paneer Burritos are amazing and so filling. I literally can only eat half if I’m having other foods. And nachos are a must try! Don’t forget to try the creamy green sauce- it’s my personal favorite. 100% recommend!

This is a unique Mexican restaurant in a strip mall that is deceptively spacious (they have a cool back room that can also be rented out for private parties). They have complimentary chips and a salsa bar and the food was decent. I didn't care for their version of the burrito suizo, but overall it was still a good experience.

I have never heard of Taco Maya but had the opportunity to try their food tonight and man am I shook at how yummy their food is. It is in a little strip mall with tons of parking outside which is always a plus. You could never have known at how big the place actually is by looking at the outside. They have a party room in the back that can accomodate quite a bit of people where you can have baby showers, bridal showers, birthdays and even office events. I tried the watermelon margarita with tajin and it was pretty darn good and you can certainly taste the tequila. THEIR own brand of tequila which was quite smooth! Definitely a must try. I wish I ordered a straight shot of their own tequila to REALLY taste the alcohol. Always next time. Waffle fries with queso and guac was pretty delicious for an appetizer. Vegetarian taco in flour tortilla was BOMB! Chicken taco in corn tortilla was just ok. A bit dry on both the chicken and the corn tortilla but maybe it's just me since my mind already made up that the vegetarian taco was way better already. Churros....ahhhhh.....I am biased but who doesn't love a warm, fresh, crunchy, sugar coated, with whipped cream drizzled in caramel and chocolate churros. Rice was pretty yummy too but I am Chinese so I LOVE RICE! The menu is just unbelievable! 27 different varieties of tacos. TWENTY SEVEN!!! Anything and everything you can think of. Imma have to come back multiple times just to try them all!

We had a great lunch with 6 of my coworkers. The Samosa tacos and the Fries a la' Mexicana were outstanding. VP & Mahesh were great and made sure we had everything we needed.

This was my first time getting food here. It was kind of a let down in all honesty. The ordering process was easy enough and the service was good. The let down came in the food quality. For the price that they charge, the quality is not there. You could get much better Mexican food for cheaper elsewhere. Also, my chicken burrito was 90% lettuce and tomato. Very subpar burrito. The sauces in the sauce station were very good.

$4.00 dollar shrimp tacos I ordered 2.. Only 4 pieces of shrimp in the taco.. should be at least 6 to 8 they small shrimp by the way. The tacos had more lettuce and tomatoes with avocado then the shrimp it self. Look at all the lettuce and tomatoes on the tacos. Not coming bck.

Ok... Let's taco bout it. 😏 My wife and I had a great date night experience tonight at Taco Maya. The service was excellent and friendly. The food was delicious. Especially the shrimp tempura tacos, the horchata and the seasoned chips. The overall aesthetic and decor of the place was super laid back and felt like we were dining under a pergola with lights and vines in a backyard. Loved it! We are definitely going back!

Wow! That's a great food. I haven't been so amused with a restaurant before in my life. When it comes to Mexican Food, Taco Maya is one of the best. With great food, pleasant staffs, this is worth your money. I think I had the best experience and feeling while eating my delicious food. It was so awesome that I can come back again and again. The staffs were so friendly and very accommodating. They were very attentive in every detail that I gave them. They respect privacy of every customer. Very cozy and the food will never disappoint you. The place is very clean and follow health standards, since it's pandemic. The overall service was excellent. I am a very satisfied customer and I will recommend this to all of my friends. So, what are you waiting for? Let's dig in!

I was so impressed with Taco Maya in Bloomingdale! At first I thought $13 for 3 Tacos was a little expensive, but I would spend that over and over again because these were the best tacos that I have ever had. The steak was so tender with fresh cilantro and corn tortillas along with sauteed onions, seasoned perfectly! Also, the chips were wonderful, too. There are a lot of salsa choices as well!

Taco Maya easily has some of the best and most creative tacos in the Chicago burbs. On top of that, the customer service is on point. Chef Patel got out a huge order in barely 20 minutes, and was very accommodating with order specifics and giving enough salsa, limes and napkins for all the food. Overall amazing experience!

The Tacos were very good, it was definitely a good late night dinner. VP was very nice and helpful. Overall a good experience and I will come back soon.

Wow..what a great event with fantastic food and drinks! Taco Maya combines flavorful Mexican food as well as fusion food items from other cultures. Loved the salsa bar offering a variety of red and green salsas. I loved the jalapeno creme..rich and creamy with just the right amount of heat. We shared their Fries A La Mexicana which was their take of nachos except they used waffle fries. Topped with queso, ico de Gallo, jalapenos, guac and sour creme. They offer over 27 different types of tacos! We tried their Chicken Tinga and Veggie Fiesta tacos. Both were fantastic. Served with rice and refried beans. Of course for dessert you have to try their homemade churros topped with caramel and chocolate sauce...yummy. They offer a variety of Margaritas mixed with their own FINO tequila. The House Margarita is delicious and refreshing. I will definitely go back as I have 25 more tacos to try!

Location is very easy to get in and out of, ordering and pickup is easy, and the food is delicious. Highly recommend the taco plates as the Mexican rice and fiesta bowl are well worth it in my opinion. There are also two different types of vegetarian tacos as opposed to the usual one choice I'm used to with these types of restaurants.

My wife and I are or I should say we're regulars here. The food is good and generous portions. I understand the times we live in and price increases but other places have raised by 10-15% not 30-40%. The burrito bowl I used to get is now $4 more and a 3 taco plate is now $18....so $6 a taco basically? Yea no thanks. Plenty of other places with good food at reasonable options. You lost us as customers and I'm sure more people will do the same soon. In response to the owner. I go onto your website and click order online and yes it does go to chownow, but I don't use any 3rd party apps such as Uber or door dash. I was under the impression that when im on tacomaya.com I order directly through the restaurant. Why does it take me to chownow ? This is how I have always ordered and haven't noticed the price increase until this last order.

Food was amazing extremely good and the price was very affordable. One of the workers Liliana that served us was overly excited and made us feel welcome. She was extremely helpful and made sure everything was good and would ask us if we’d need anything else. 10/10 recommend staff is nice and wonderful and the food was even more better.

Went to Taco Maya for the first time last night and the food and vibe was amazing. The chicken tinga taco is so delicious! It's so hard to get tinga right and this place def met my tinga expectations lol For food/drinks: 10/10-fries a la mexicana: LOVED that they use waffle fries instead of the normal chips for this! Similar to loaded nachos but with fries - super delicious 9/10 - tinga taco: spices were so delicious, really loved it 8/10 - vegetarian fiesta taco: I've never had a vegetarian taco before and surprisingly I didn't "miss" the meat 10/10 - Barbie margarita: was not overly sweet and tasted very fresh! You can taste a difference in their tequila (which one of the owners supplies from her tequila business) and it def elevated the drink IMO 9/10 - churros with caramel and chocolate sauce: not overly sweet and tasted very very fresh! Really loved this dessert The owners and staff and very close and like family and you can definitely see that in how they interact together and make the place so welcoming. Shout out to Patricio for the amazing family recipes and bringing his culture in the kitchen. Food is made with love and you can feel it! So happy I tried out this place and I hope to be back soon to try more of the 27 different tacos they offer.

Pretty good food & menu. Absolutely terrible service. Typical issue with Indian-owned/operated establishments - horrendous service! I tried to cater from them for a party, and they never called me back even after 4 attempts. They could do well if they improve their service.

They serve “HALAL CHICKEN” Which is cooked on the SAME GRILL AS ALL OTHER MEATS which includes PORK! Even their shrimp Is grilled on the same grill as other meats. They have a separate grill for vegetarians but not for shrimp or halal chicken 🤮🤮🤮🤮. All the zabiha halal eating customers will be very disappointed to know this. I went in because my friend told me they serve halal chicken but thankfully i asked and they told me they serve pork and then i asked if its grilled on the same grill and they said yes! I wanted to bawl my eyes out for all the customers who consumed the chicken thinking they were getting “halal chicken” 😭😭😭 when i asked was it the owners idea to put “halal chicken” on the menu i was told yes but im not sure if the chicken distributor just HAPPENS to sell them “halal” chicken and they use it and just say its halal because technically it is and not know the restrictive guidelines serving halal any meat comes with. Any place serving any halal meat would never sell pork there.

We had chicken tinga, chicken tikka and paneer tacos. The best was the chicken tinga. It was spicy and tasty. The chicken tikka was okayish. The ambience was good. Waiting time was less.

Have come a couple times now to this place. The most recent was for a party that we had in their party room. Yes, they have a party room. It’s a pay per person style and they keep bringing the tacos. Tacos, appetizers, sodas and dessert are included. It was a fun atmosphere and the tacos are great, along with the salsas! Just wish they would stop seasoning their chips with some sort of seasoning salt, yuck!

Their traditional tacos are great, and their specialty/fusion tacos are excellent opportunities to stretch your expectation of what a taco can be.

Late-night food, delicious tacos and desserts (I tried fried ice cream and churros). Casual atmosphere, haven't tried the Taco Maya room though. They usually have promos on Tuesdays like BOGO taco.

Wow very good. Great selection of tacos. Just a forewarn the red medium salsa is very hot. Tacos are huge. I'd have to say that these are the best tacos I've had out of any restaurant in Schaumburg. Taco Shop in Palatine is the best for me.
