The food was fantastic. We just searched them on Google and went. The waiter was all over. However, he was friendly and very and treated us well. The cook came out too, very nice, man. Ambiance needs an upgrade. Nothing a little light green paint can do some stick on tile floor fix benches cheap plastic coverings. Plastic plates and real cutlery are cheaper. It's a little cafe. I hope that the word gets around about them. The beef curry had this beautiful exotic aroma. There is also space for outside seating. The price was right for what we received. I will go again.

I was lured by the relatively low prices (compared to other Indian options in the area). We decided to pick up our order, so I called ahead and he told me 30 minutes. The food was ready when we arrived to get it. When I got home, I was pleased with the flavors and generous portions for the Chicken Tikka Masala and Chicken Kadhai. The chicken entrees come with a side of either rice or naan. I am taking off a star because I wouldn't really recommend the restaurant if you are looking for a sit-down experience--the inside was very bright and the ambiance left something to be desired. Overall, I was happy with my takeout experience and would return!

I came with authentic Pakistani friends and they said this food reminds them of home cooking. The owner is so nice and the food was spicy and had lots of flavor. Will come back!

I’ve never dined in so this review is strictly based on takeout. I’ve orders 4 times already and I must say the food is very fresh and delicious. Some items I recommend : butter chicken , chicken tikka, masala , and chicken makhani. Today I tried the chicken makhani for the first time ever and it’s definitely my new favorite dish. Also their rice is very good; doesn’t taste the same as the other Indian restaurants I’ve tried. The prices are very reasonable and their portions are generous.

I am obsessed with this restaurant! The food is out of this world. My absolute favorite is the chicken madras- it never disappoints. Everything here is top tier!! A definite must to try if you love Indian/Pakistani cuisine.

Best Indian Restaurant in Sunrise Florida. You have to visit them. The food was beyond amazing. Talking about hospitality, they literally treated us like family. The restaurant closed at 11:30pm but they stayed up till 2:00am for us. DO PAY A VISIT!!!!!

Got take out. Ordered muttar paneer. They were very friendly. I suggest ordering ahead if you want to be out quick. The naan was tasty, and done right. The food was too oily. See pictures. In town there are better and more economic options for Indian food.

We came back to this restaurant after a long time.. we were pleasantly surprised to find some positive changes. Food is even better tasting, they listened to our request of low salt. Lots of vegetarian options, since it was Thanksgiving weekend, we were chickened out, so we ordered Daal Tadka and Maharaja Paneer and onion kulcha. Everything tasted totally amazing. They have a very cheerful young lady at the front desk who made us feel very much at home. Our dining experience was totally satisfying. We are definitely coming back.

The food was fabulous. It was absolutely homemade and different from any other Indian place. The chef explained what was in each of the sauces and dishes. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant is in transition from a lunch to dinner environment.

This places is fabulously unassuming. The food is absolutely wonderful! We had the channal masala, chicken curry, and shrimp vindaalo, spice level 5 and 6. The naan was fresh and super good. The server was super sweet and also in and out of his own world, but was on it with the order and just so lovely. We too were lured in by the reviews. If you want a delicious, well priced meal, with such nice people then this is the place. Great for takeout if the atmosphere isn't doing it for you. Would come back again and again. If I lived here I would make it my mission to be a regular!

I’ve been ordering from saalans for almost 4 years now. I’ve never had a bad experience from them. They have the best chicken tikka masala and samosas. The owner is also super nice!!!

This family owned restaurant delivers on food! It was authentic and flavorful! The preparation made me feel like I was at their home. I had the Vindaloo and the others in my party had different curries. I took the Haleem stew home to enjoy another day and it was also amazing!

The food here was AMAZING. My family got the chicken biryani, chicken karahi, and daal along with naan. And then we proceeded to order more naan because it was just so good. We hadn’t heard of this restaurant before and came here based on reviews, and the good reviews are definitely justified. Would def get food from here again!

Hands down the best Pakistani food you can get in Florida. Had many dinners here with my Desi friends after medical school exams and celebrations. My friends say it tastes just like their mother's cooking. It is a mother and son family owned restaurant and they both do all of the cooking. Aooooo yummy!

Can’t do wrong with this restaurant. I enjoy led everything that I ordered. Even days later, you can reheat the good and experience great taste all over again.

By FAR the most authentic and best food in the area! Most Indian/Pakistani restaurants are not good, but this place is awesome! They have chicken tikka masalla 🙄 for you gringos, but their haleem and goat curry are on point! The nihari paired with naan (please STOP saying "naan bread") is awesome too! The family is very friendly and they go above and beyond to give you what you want. No dine in still, but great for carry out.

My family and I have been coming to Saalan for years from West Palm Beach, they have the most authentic and delicious Pakistani food in South Florida. The owners are also such kind people, definitely recommend

It is going to be my second and last review here. Frozen vegetable from supermarket hastily warmed up in pre-made stock gravy is sold as vegetable curry !!! The potatoes and pieces of veggies are still hard as raw. Not defensible while charging no less money because you are doing it with full conscious.

First time coming here & drove from Kendall. 10/10 Rating for Pakistani food, menu had a lot of variety with different saalans. I ordered a lot of food from the menu for takeout because i was hungry lol. -Nahari, -Haleem, -Paya, -Keema, -Surti Dal, -Eggplant Bharta, & -Chicken Kadhai, all which came with options. (Naan or rice) & were delicious! Also, Great pricing (not what you usually see compared to other Paki or indian restaurants in south Fl). Excellent food quality, and owner was nice and awesome with communication. Overall, my family & i are really impressed W/ Saalan restaurant & it exceeded my expectations, i definitely will be driving/ordering here again soon & will recommend it to others who are looking for authentic Pakistani food in Broward with excellent pricing. Yes, you should go here 👍. The best Indian food I've had was in the South of Thailand, and this place gives that experience a run for their money.
