Times Square

Promenade

👍 This is a fun, kitschy beach strip with all the usual shops and restaurants. No beach should be without it. There are a few nicer boutique shops included - like Local Color, which was my favorite. There was very little in that store I wouldn’t buy. Also there are several fun ice cream shops. You see... People often mention beach, restaurants, shops, Beach, great, pier, good,

There are a few nicer boutique shops included - like Local Color, which was my favorite. There was very little in that store I wouldn’t buy. Also there are several fun ice cream shops. You see the usual chains - DQ, Cold Creamery, and Kilwins - but after much research 😉we decided the locally owned 80 Flavors shop was the best. It’s a great place to pick up tshirts, sweatshirts, or alligator shaped chocolate for the folks back home.

Time Square on Fort Myers Beach. One of my favorite places ❤️ You have so many shops/ restaurants/ Hotels to choose from. All with in walking distance! Yahoo 🤗 You also got the fishing pier. You also have the city bus stops all along the way. It’s my happy place.💦

A fun place to look around, see a lot of people, shop for all kinds of touristy things, see pelicans up close, and eat at some pretty good little seafood restaurants. Parking lots charge $20. There is a new Margaritaville being constructed across the street so parking is at minimum. We took a Lyft to avoid all that.

Nice place at walking distance to the beach, full of restaurants and souvenir shops, you can go and choose from oysters, ice cream, tacos or sushi all in one block, great variety of food, definitely worth taking a walk around and discovering all it has to offer. Don't forget to stop a the brewery.

A fantastic place right in the middle of town with lots of good restaurants with awesome views. Happy stores that sell a whole variety of bad for you treats that we love to eat. Some great little shops to pick up that gift for the loved ones that didn’t make the trip. To top it all off awesome ocean views and amazing sunsets. Free entertainment and music. I guess you know we like it there!

Very nice place to stroll and grab a bite to eat. Parking is available but pricey. Ideal destination to spend half a day or start exploring Fort Myers Beach. You can access the pier from times square, shop for bathing supplies or tourist memorabilia. Some of the restaurants offer patio seating and take away booths. Time flies when your having fun!

After reading the good reviews, we went there and paid $20 from one of the numerous Park Mafia providers (10 minutes or whole day = 1 price). We then did a lap (30”), ate some ice cream and drove again. The beach was hopelessly overcrowded and the area was scarred by the last hurricane.

Don't miss the Friday morning Farmers Market. 9am-1pm. Huge variety of shopping and food choices. Ample parking in 3 lots surrounding Times Square. Easy walking and biking distance from nearby hotels. Bike racks all over. Beach is gorgeous. Very nice portolets in Lynn Hall Park.

We love Ft Myers Beach. It's nice to see some of the favorites make their way back on the beach. We are there to support them. It's still a great place to be. I hope that all can pull it together and make a strong come back.

Nice to see people back enjoying the area in general, along with the Beach and Margaritaville... a new addition that is Jimmy Buffet cool...revenue will really help the island. New clock at Times square great to see.. Alot more to do w pier severely damaged, Dairy Queen and other buildings gone..but there a hopeful sign of renewal!

No place to eat without walking a few blocks and then the food is nothing to brag about. No entertainment. The noseeums and sand fleas are horrible and every time we go we come home with dozens of bites all over our bodies. There is no plans to rebuild the pier for at least five years. The only bathroom facilities are porta-pots. No pets and no smoking on the beach are not enforced. We used to go a few times a month but for now on, we'll drive up the coast and spend our money elsewhere. Maybe when Margaritaville opens we'll consider visiting again.

I stopped by Fort Myers Beach/Times Square to catch the sunset. It was great to see restaurants open and a lot of people at the beach. The city was hit so hard by Ian and there is still a sobering feeling but it’s good to see the progress.

Warning: Do not come here! You will spend half your day sitting in traffic. I'm talking about hours going 2mph. This place is backing up traffic for miles. I wouldn't come back here again if the trip was free. Stay far, far, away.

Beach as always beautiful since 1980, only the construction boom on the rest of the fmb is no longer authentic, only high-rise buildings like anywhere else in the world, you can destroy an idyll, see picture

Overrated group of restaurants and souvenir stores. It’s nerve to call the place Times Square considering it isn’t close to the excitement of the real one. Traffic was a nightmare, parking a struggle. Walked over to check out beach- it was overcrowded. Avoid!!

Best of the small town beach.experiences but way too damned busy. FMB is changing from a delightful beach community to Coney Island. WITH NO PARKING AND PISS POOR PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

It was wonderful!! The sand is more like flour than sugar, it is soft, "toes in the sand" lol. People are friendly, no rudeness!! Which is very important factor to me!! The food & entertainment are great. The gift shops are awesome!

Cozy beautiful beachfront towne center style. Restaurants for every price range. Souvenirs too. Walk on the boardwalk or step on the beach! The beach is nice with white powdery sand.

A little pricey, but that can be expected on the beach. The fudge and different chocolate covered snacks are awesome.
