What a gem this campground is - small, peaceful, and meticulously maintained! The owners, Louie and PJ are very helpful and give great attention to every detail ensuring your stay is a wonderful experience! They truly take the time to make each and every camping guest feel like family. We especially loved the bonfire and the beautiful mountain view from the porch! We will definitely be back soon!

AWESOME HOSTS. The owners are real people people. Just love everything and everyone. Great fireworks display, best I've ever seen. And what a great meet and greet barbecue. Host provided the meat and everyone else pitched in. It was awesome. Best place ever.

Can't believe they only received 4.9 stars. They should have 5+. Unbelievably quaint, small campground carved into the side of a hill. As soon as I pulled in, Louie greeted us and PJ had our packet right out before we could get out of the truck. He then helped us into our site . Unbelievable experience. Beautiful views and live music Saturday evening. We'll definitely be back.

I've never quite had a camping experience like this the owner operators are very personable and interact with each of the guests, in an extraordinary way. They take the time to get to know the guests and actually hang out with them I was there for the 4th of July week and it was a really good time they had a great band. The potluck with the food was incredible. They also had some awesome fireworks at the end of the night..will definitely recommend . There's a picture of me cutting up the rug 😂

We stayed at Mountain View Campground from 8/24 - 9/1/22. What a GREAT place. Louie and PJ are the owners. They live onsite, and take great care to make you feel welcome, as do the campers who stay here. Most of the campers have been there before and return regularly. The campground is extremely well cared for. Over the 3 seasons Louie and PJ have owned it, they have manicured, rebuild, corrected problems and created a comfortable, quiet, friendly atmosphere with a killer view of the mountain across the road from them. The campground has about 30 campsites, bath houses, a 1 washer and dryer laundry (suggested donation $1 per wash and $1 per dry), a rocking chair porch (where campers gather late afternoon), a ping pong room, a dog park, a community fire ring, a music barn (karaoke on Thursday) and musical entertainment (outside or inside the music barn) most weekends. Campers are also welcome to attend the Tuesday “meet and Greet” event. If you enjoy peace and quiet, friendly, helpful owners and a few campground activities each week, this is the place. We will DEFINITELY return as quickly as we can. We thoroughly enjoyed the campground, the owners, the other campers and the surrounding area. The north GA mountains are wonderful.

This place is a beautiful, peaceful, well maintained mountain getaway. The owners are fabulous and from the first day you fee a sense of community here. They offer weekly activities for the guests such as a campfire with hot dogs and s’mores, karaoke night, laundry facilities on site, and a clean restroom/shower.

Love love love this place. It has to be our #1 favorite place to camp. The hosts make you feel like you’re their best friends and are so happy to see you. You can be fully entertained while never leaving the campground.

Peaceful and quiet (mainly adults and a few teens, no little kids). Our first stay, and we'll be back. Super-friendly owners work hard to make your stay great. We met a few couples that enjoy the park so much that they return often enough that the owners know them by name. The entire park was clean and well-kept.

Totally loved it! Five stars! Owners are fabulous and helped me when i needed them. Had to cut my stay short and they kindly worked with me. The campground is clean landscaped shaded and the views are great! Not a bad site anywhere. Will be back! Renee

We don't often write reviews but our stay at this campground was excellent, and we wanted to say so. The sites were fairly level, and the manager was there to guide us in. The restrooms were clean and the store has ice and firewood. The management was very friendly and they provided entertainment every day or night. There was line dancing, pickleball, bonfire and an evening of music trivia, karaoke, and talent show. All the other campers were friendly and it felt like a big extended family. Also, PJ is an excellent artist and has a gallery in the office. This is our new favorite campground in North Georgia.

We had a wonderful time singing karaoke and meeting the campers. Music hall is awesome! Really enjoyed meeting PJ and Louie, they were very outgoing and willing to help in anyway they could! The park is very clean and the RV spots are very nice. Will definitely be back there next year.

This is a very quiet and clean campground. The owners are friendly as well as helpful. We had to basically hunt them down to pay our balance before we left. They would not take it when we arrived and didn’t answer text when we were ready to head out as they were socializing with other campers. :) Even if it says cash you probably want to use a card and don’t be like me using a prepaid debit for deposit and planning cash for balance!! The negative is that the bathrooms have no airflow! Yes they put in a vent that comes on when you walk into the shower that does not help!! If you book site 11 you are basically beside the owners … seems like you are in their yard. Lastly read ALL the rules …. Especially the quiet time is 10 pm to 9 am which is not the normal. We are a quiet couple and do not mind rules just these are somewhat different rules than other campgrounds, so may want to review them. 🌞 Happy Camping!!

Excellent camp grounds! Owners are extremely kind and thoughtful. They take pride in the place and it shows. They host events and holiday specials for their tenants making it a memorable stay. Not like just any camp grounds. They make it feel like one big family coming together.

This by far is our favorite campground. The sites are level, shaded, well maintained and they offer amazing views. The owners make everyone feel like family. This campground gets our top reviews in all categories. There is much to do in the area.

My sister and brother in law recommended this place over and over again and we finally got to experience it first hand over Memorial Day weekend. Being from Florida the cool air, mountains, and most importantly the peace and quiet really moved us. Great starting point for all hikes in north Georgia, perfect sites, and friendly owners. We will be back for sure, this place is a hidden gem!

PJ, Louie, and Peanut make this campground my new favorite getaway. The surroundings are beautiful, and the activities are so much fun. You can choose a quiet night watching the stars, or dance under them to live music. It is a wonderful place to be. I will definitely be back as soon as possible.

What a fabulous camping experience! From the moment we arrived and were greeted to our departure when we got hugs! Louie and PJ are amazing hosts. Clean, beautifully landscaped, fun and family friendly. I can't say enough about what a lovely campground this was. It was like going home!❤️

We had the best time. Met lots of great people. Very nice site, bathrooms were very nice and clean. The laundry room was great too. PK and Louie were the absolute best hosts. Live music and had 2 fantastic singers on Sunday (5-28). Small very quiet and cozy campground. Will definitely be back. Full hook up and internet was a definite plus.

We camped here for 6 nights with our two kids (ages 7 and 12) in a 36 ft fifth wheel camper in the summer during a month+ long trip from Florida to the Smokies and back. This was, hands down, one of the best maintained campgrounds we stayed at. Everything was clean and comfortable. There are beautiful views of the north Georgia mountains from all around. I've added a bunch of 360 degree photo spheres so you can get an idea of what the sites are like. The couple that run it are super sweet - they helped us get parked (not always easy for us as we are new campers), provided plenty of advice of things to do in the area, and they kept the campground in really nice condition. The common area in the middle is really big - lots of seating inside and outside. I work remotely so I was able to take my laptop over and sit at a table or in a rocking chair and take in the scenery while I worked. The campground is far enough removed from the local town to have that rural feel, but close enough (10-15 mins) to grab groceries or have a nice dinner out. Our only disappointment was that there weren't any other kids there during our stay, but that's not the fault of the campground. We will most certainly come back!

What a Gem💎!!! Gorgeous campground with quiet but friendly atmosphere. Very clean, and accommodating hosts. Great hiking nearby, lakes, etc. A true campers’ paradise! We will definitely be stopping here more!

My first campground review after almost 2 years…. They deserve it and then some . Fantastic campground, tons of local activities but most importantly… the most fabulous campground hosts ever !!! PJ and Louie make this the best camping experience and it is nothing short of magical!!! You are missing out if you don’t include Mountain View Campground in your plans !!

This campground is all about the generous nature of the hosts. Louie, PJ and Peanut the dog greet you like long lost friends, really work hard to create a special mountain welcome. We attended their little black box theatre on site where we were treated to a fun one man show concert and a mother's day brunch. Lots of fun folks staying there in mountain hideaway. Good internet and facilities are clean and comfortable.

We brought 3 campers and cannot say enough good about this campground. As a matter of fact we have already booked our trip for next year with 4 campers going this time. PJ and Louie and fantastic. The grounds are immaculate and the fun only stops if you want it to. They gave great ideas on places to go and things to do. You won't regret this trip at all.

👍👍 Absolutely enjoyed every minute of the fair. So glad I decided to come up, even with the weather forecast a little suspect. Toured all of the old buildings, walked through all the vendors, didn't eat anything but an ice cream cone on the way out. Homemade Peach Ice Cream. The highlight of my trip. I...

😠 I would never recommend this place. My family wanted to rent a cabin for the weekend and was denied due to my husbands SERVICE ANIMAL. YES, you read correctly SERVICE ANIMAL, which I even told them had his tag, vest and would have his paperwork with him at all times. He would be on a leash and no...

👍👍 This is our second time staying here. We've enjoyed both stays. The sites are fairly level and easy to get into, the internal roads are wide and clear, the staff is nice and attentive, and the area is fantastic. The hookups work well. The water pressure is a bit low, but still servicable. There is a...

😠 This review had taken me 1.5 years to write... We are former campground hosts. The first year was fantastic! The owners were James and Donna and they were a gem to work with. The new owners, Lynn and Randy, at first was great and told us they just wanted us to make the campers happy. At that time,...
