๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ They really helped me when I was down and out and had no place to go... Now I have my own apartment and I'm on medication that helps me cope with daily living... They've also helped me get to a point to where I can begin my own business... After being shot in the head in 1985, dead for 5 minutes,... People often mention people, homeless, helped, staff, night, lunch,

They really helped me when I was down and out and had no place to go... Now I have my own apartment and I'm on medication that helps me cope with daily living... They've also helped me get to a point to where I can begin my own business... After being shot in the head in 1985, dead for 5 minutes, - only to come back to life to suffer many years of a living nightmare, - Saint Patrick Center got me healed from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet !!!

Anthony D'Agostino should step down from his position as CEO. I spent a year in the position as a Coordinated Entry Receptionist/Triage Worker and continuously saw staff treat our clients with such disrespect. I brought all my concerns to my managers in Immediate Support, and nothing was constructively done. Certain managers in Immediate Support need to step down as well if they do not see the worth and dignity every person deserves that walks into the Welcome Center at the St. Patrick Center. And I will let all the providers in the St. Louis area know about my experiences at the St. Patrick Center. ๐Ÿ’ฏ

In my experience the St. Patrick center is a blessing for so many people. Weather you are at rock bottom or just need a little push to get over the hump but either way they help literally anyone who wants help so that means if you want help you aren't the only one so you must have patience because nothing in life is instant. The staff are remarkable people and show a lot of compassion and empathy for the clients. So if you need drug or alcohol counseling , help finding a job , a place to live or just a hot meal then St Patrick center can help. If you don't need there help they can always use yours with the volunteer programs or donations. Check out the good they do.

They front desk recipient needs to be more aware their surroundings, because they can cut peoples wait time if they answered certain questions that doesn't have to wait for a case manager

Depending on who you get to see and who you are will be deciding factor for an FEW employees here. Single, homeless, two kids & our animals living in vehicle & was turned away twice now.. Yet, 2 different single men and 1 family I know have been helped by this organization.

I was homeless at a point in time. In the last year during COVID I lost my job. I was running unemployment where I mean I was on workers comp. This place helped me out immensely. I love these people. I love this place. The front desk clerk is horrific though. She is really lackadaisical in her approach but the staff members behind the front desk are wonderful. If you can get through the gatekeeper Good luck and they have great programs for the people in need. They gave me the chance to get the leg up that I needed. Now I'll be success and feeling great

I had a family member that I didn't know fell on hard times...the St.patrick center not only helped him but also gave a job and helped with housing...this non-profit is a blessing to our community he said a case manager by the name Ms.Cindy helped him get a job I wanna thank her so much. They host events sometimes to help the homeless in the city that many other organizations aren't doing..God bless them !!๐Ÿ˜‡

Very short with answers. Went in to get rental assistance and was told no more help we ran out of money 2 days ago. Then I asked if they had other resources I could have to turn to for help and was told they don't have any resources i could contact. Needless to say I won't go back for help because they don't help at all.

You get out exactly (what/how) you put into it. YOUR drive and dedication tends to be the catalyst in moving forward.

So I'm in line at 1pm they hand out numbered cards & I am number 16. When I get called they tell me they can only see 8 people because of staff shortage but I can come back tomorrow at 7:30am or 12:30 pm & try to be in the first 8. Why would they hand out 16 tickets but only see 8? Web site said 8am or 1pm so I took off work again for nah

An organization providing indispensable services to the homeless in St Louis. While not an emergency shelter, their aim is finding permanent solutions for people who need to get on their feet.

I'm a 38 year old single white woman and I spent from 8:00 a.m. in the morning until 5:00 at night trying to get a referral to get into a shelter which is what I was told I need to do and then I got one for Saint Patrick's dinner I got here and they would not let me in and I was sitting in my blood from having my cycle and I'm still out here dirty homeless nothing but I got a referral on the email that a staff member start with her very eyes so if they help people why have they still not helped me why am I out here dirty blood all over myself crying with no place to stay still??!! Let's go ahead and add that I am blind and cannot see anything so it's hard to get around by myself all the time at night and during the day but night time is worse for me and I have no other choice but to walk the streets all night and get no sleep because I have nowhere to stay but I have a referral what's really going on

It's an ok place. Free breakfast and lunch for anyone. Whether you're homeless or just wanting to conserve money. They offer free clothing every other Wednesday at 9:30, toiletries, blankets, shoes so you can add to your wardrobe or score an interview. Two shirts, two pairs of pants, one jacket. Every little bit helps. You can't go shopping here lol. The lunch and breakfast is good for the most part, not always the best but it's usually enjoyable. They serve salad every day at lunch which is nice because it's healthy. They have a vending machine upstairs for all the people that enjoy soda or juice. Women's night program in summary is all about cerfew. You get one approved signed night out a week. The dinners are way better than the lunch though, they even have tacos for dinner. I think more people volunteer for dinner, not certain. Anyway, it's a safe place to be when you have nowhere. They don't give vouchers I've been told, they've helped some with first and last for an apartment but it's best to not fully rely on it especially if there's "currently no funds". The women are nice. In Shamrock Club only, you get to wash and shower. It's a public place but I guess they don't want to many people having access to all the privileges because a lot of people can be gross and have no manners. Don't come up here expecting hamburgers for lunch or grilled chicken though. Everytime they serve lunch, the meat is usually served in a chopped up form and the food sends you to the bathroom sometimes. They need security outside as well during the day

The coordinated entry program did not help me and my children despite being homeless and this being the designated homeless hub
