If I could give this place no stars I would. I am absolutely disgusted with how I was treated by “the manager” of this store. They have been there for 38 years and I’m unsure of how. I went in with a simple return and was told that he did not want to deal with me and he yelled at me to leave the store. Their return policy was never clearly stated, and was not posted on the receipt. I will never use this business again and I would advise anyone else thinking about doing business with them, to think twice about using theses utterly atrocious and unbelievably rude people. Added 2/20/23: Hey saw you replied, Just so you know I didn’t buy a suit, I bought a belt, and tried to return it with the tag still on it. I couldn’t wear it due to it being too small. Maybe you should address the rudeness of your employees. I think many people stand in the same shoes I do when it comes to your company.

It's sad that for men's formal wear there aren't a lot of choices in the area. We used Sid's for a wedding. We needed four tuxedos, all matching. My sister and I went over there a few months in advance and looked at their formal wear book, and took pictures of the tuxedo I picked. When I called to reserve the tuxes, Sid informed me that all of the men would have to call in their measurements since everyone lives elsewhere. He told one guest that their measurements were wrong, even though he went to three different tailors and got the same results. Sid called us several times to complain about sizing the men, and even called once to ask which tux we wanted, though I'd discussed it with him several times. Once, he even asked me to send in the pictures I'd taken of the book, even though I knew the exact name and price of the one I wanted. He was really a pain, since he had the other guests phone numbers after they called in their measurements, and he kept calling me instead of them. He probably called me and my husband...oh, I'd say 11 times. I don't know why he had so many problems with the measurements or why he couldn't remember which tuxedo it was. The day before the wedding, when everyone went to get their tux, they all came with fuchsia ties. The picture I took from his book showed a black bow tie. My husband and I NEVER. EVER. said that we wanted fuchsia ties. Ever! I called and Sid acted like it was some big mistake on MY part, and said that he could loan us four ties IF we cleaned them before returning them because they were his ties, not part of the tux rental company, and he's doing me a huge favor, since I messed up. I sent my dad to go get them, as I could no longer deal with Sid. Also, one of the men's rental shoes did not arrive. Even though he paid for them, Sid said he did not, and my guest was forced to BUY a pair of tuxedo shoes. What a mess. I can not suggest anyone use this company. I know there are other men's formal places that are farther away; just bite the bullet and make the drive.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!! Sid personally ordered my suit wrong 3 times! Finally i get my suit 2 days before the wedding and still wrong. Packed up my suit and told me it was 100% ready to go. I get to the venue and open the suit out of the packaging he placed it in for transport and no shirt!!!! I paid for a shirt and he said i would have to come an hour away to his store(because the venue is an hour away) and buy a shirt. Which i already paid for... I told him that was unacceptable and i needed it delivered or i could go to his other location in titusville and pick one up. I get to the other location and they try charging me $50 for a shirt. I call sid and he is completely nasty with me and refuses to give me a shirt unless i drive to merritt island. All my guys stuff is wrong .I am so unhappy with him that i want to destroy everything in his store!!!!!!! Oh well i guess but i hope and pray noone else uses him!!!!!

Buyer Beware! I purchased a suit at this store and paid to have it altered. When I came to pick it up(the day I was promised) it was not done and I was asked to return the next day. Since picking it up the following day I have been to the store twice because the alterations were never made. The last time I brought it in I requested a refund. The employee informed me that he couldn't give me a refund and put me on the phone with the owner of the store who promptly cursed me out, told me "there's no refunds" and hung up on me! Meanwhile the wife of the owner who was in the store had the pants in the back and was adamant about trying to make the alterations on spot even though I told her its unacceptable. Apparently making three trips to the store to get what I originally paid for doesn't warrant making the situation right and just issuing a refund. So I'm left with a $220 charge on my credit card and a worthless suit (bottom hem of pants ripped by owner's wife). Please save yourself the time, aggravation and money and shop elsewhere!

This review is for wedding tuxedo rental at Sid's Men's Fashions in Merritt Island, Florida. I'm not sure where to even start as I have never had such a horrible experience with any vendor. The men in the wedding party were all measured by Sid himself and I (the bride) personally filled out all of their cards with the tie and shirt and vest styles and colors. I received daily calls with questions on what we ordered and with each call he had something else wrong with the order. We wanted black shirts, he said white ("I ordered white, you might have to get your own shirts" click), we wanted straight ties, he kept saying bow ties. Finally, the tuxes came in and out of 5 tuxes, only 2 were right. My husband's suspenders didn't come in with his, another one was entirely too big (like nowhere even close to the correct measurement) and instead of owning up to the mistake, he said the groomsman just lost too much weight. He didn't but even so, that doesn't explain the sleeves being 5 inches too long and he didn't shrink 3 inches! Another one didn't get his right until the DAY OF the wedding, with both of these guys having to run back and forth to the store and 1 of them lives an hour away. Also, the 2 days before the wedding he was calling all of my groomsmen asking for payment and they had already paid in full. When I say calling, I mean repeatedly blowing up their phones (while they were at work) even after they explained they had already paid. Then he called my husband demanding payment from him for his tux when he said several times (in front of several people) while ordering everything that his would be comped. This is after my husband has shopped in this man's store for 15 years, spent thousands of dollars, referred several customers and after all of the aggravation the wedding party endured because he kept messing up the order and had 2 of them running back and forth to his store the day before and day of the wedding. He still went back on his word to comp my husband's tux and we had to pay him. Now to top it all off he is charging a $50 fee to one of groomsmen for returning the tux "late " when he never specified when it was to be returned. My husband called him and suggested this be compensation for all we had to endure and he told my husband to "go F himself " (I won't enter the full word but I'm sure it is clear). I spent a year planning my wedding and endured all of the stress that goes along with that and nothing, absolutely NOTHING can compare to the incompetence, unprofessionalism, stress and absolute cluster F, from that store! AVOID it at all costs. I'd rather have had them in cut off shorts than to deal with that place again.

Bought and paid for tuxedo shirt and shoes. Got shirt altered which was great. He could not find shoes but said he'd keep looking. The shoes were for my wedding. I came back and he asked for a few more days. Times up....no refund, no shoes. ...hell of a tip for a shirt ..

Sid is a dishonest businessmen man that will do everything he can to bleed you dry. He is a liar and a thief, and his word means nothing. I recently rented a tux from Sid, and the experience was terrible. I called in from out of state (he seemed to hold some sort of grudge against my home state of California from the beginning) and was told that the sizes given were incorrect, and were the sizes of a "7 foot tall man". I went to a second tailor for measurements, who confirmed the sizes from the first, and told Sid to proceed. What else could I do? When I arrived, I got a jacket that fit fine, but pants that went up mid-thigh. Despite the sizes I gave being too big, according to Sid originally. Of course, Sid charged me to correct the mistake, the whole time grumbling about how dumb Californian tailors must be, never accepting any responsibility. When I came back to get the altered tux, I asked about the shoes I reserved, which were not with the suit. I have a clear memory of renting shoes, and specifically did not pack dress shoes due to this. When at the store, though, Sid tells me that he doesn't rent shoes at all. He did a little show of looking around for a pair of shoes to rent, but then says he's never rented shoes, ever. He instead sells me an overpriced pair that I'm stuck with, and I've got no choice but pay this con man, because I have a wedding I need to get to. Later, I talk with the father of the bride, and learn that he rented the shoes he was wearing as we spoke... from Sid. Add in the fact that the tuxedo everyone ordered for the wedding was supposed to include black ties, but for some reason every tux we got ended up with pink ties and pocket squares. Sid did provide new ties for everyone for the mixup, but that added yet another unnecessary hassle to the wedding. So, if you want to deal with a rude liar that will do everything possible to rip you off and never admits his own fault, Sid's is the store for you. If you want to deal with an honest businessman that's true to his word and is in any way reliable, I'd recommend going anywhere else. I spoke clearly and directly with Sid, but remained pleasant throughout. I gave him multiple chances to do the right thing, but he never once did. Sid is a thoroughly unpleasant human, and a charlatan who will do you wrong. I give Sid's Mens [SIC] Fashions my lowest recommendation, and would suggest avoiding at all costs.

I highly recommend Sid's Mens Fashions in Merritt Square Mall! We had an hour to find my 17 year old a tuxedo for his band concert. Getting anything to fit is always an issue, and with time constraints it was even more so. Sid knew exactly what size jacket he needed, and even altered the pants to fit in under an hour! Friendly and knowledgeable service, amazing prices, beautiful men's clothing; it doesn't get any better!! Thank you so much, Sid! We really appreciate you! You are awesome!!!

Been shopping in Sid’s store for years for all my male family & friends. He’s very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices and selection are great !
