I have chartered with Capt Patrick several times with friends who love to fish Mobile Bay we primarily chase speckled trout during the late fall and early winter, fishing water and areas new to even us and learning techniques to target speckled trout in the unique waters of upper Mobile Bay.

February 9th, Captain Pat took us out on a 4 hr. trip. Boat was clean and well kept. Capt. was knowledgeable and gear was appropriate and well maintained. His knowledge about the area and fish behavior had us with a keeper in the boat before all four of us had lines in water. Overall, a great experience, Capt. Pat was engaged and cared about creating a positive fishing experience. Would highly recommend.

Captian Patric was amazing! This was my first saltwater fishing experience and he was patient, informative, helpful and knowledgeable. He put us on fish within 10 minutes of leaving the dock. We caught Jack Crevalle on top water and the action was fast and furious. I will definitely use him again.

Awesome trip for my daughter and I. Capt. Patric worked hard to put us on fish due to the weather. He put my daughter on some nice reds and white trout. We will definitely be going out again with Capt Patric!

July 14th 2023 Captain Patrick didn’t disappoint. Enjoyed a day on the water with my buddy Austin Luke. Captain Patrick put us on multiple species of fish. We were able to put spec, Spanish mak, bluefish and flounder in the cooler today. To end the day Captain Patrick put me on a bucket list 25lb Jack!! What a Fight!!! Thanks again Captain Patrick!!

Patric is an fantastic guide. He knows so much natural history and makes fishing really fun. He works with the local scientists and helps with their research projects to give back. Highly recommend for a trip.

We had an excellent time with Captain Patrick. We caught a ton of fish and he is extremely knowledgeable about the fishery here. This was my third trip with him and will book more in the future!!

Our group caught 36 fish today. We all had a great time. Caught spotted trout sheepshead red fish and 3 drum. Patrick is an excellent guide. Knowledgeable patent and he is a good teacher. Best guide I have ever used. I will come back again later this year.

We booked an outing with Ugly Fishing's Captain Patric well in advance of a trip. Personally, I like to fish, but I don't do it much. Patric was fantastic, everywhere at once getting my two family members and I loaded with bait and helping bring in fish as we caught them. We caught our limit on Speckled Trout as well as 4 other species worth keeping including some Sheepshead, Reds, and White Trout. Patric kept us moving all morning, if the fish weren't hitting he knew another place to immediately move to. I don't know if it's normal, but he cleaned our fish at the end too, which was really convenient. For my first ever chartered trip it was a lot of fun and very successful. I highly recommend Ugly Fishing! PS: we fried up a large portion of the Speckled Trout that night and they were delicious!

Had the best day catching trout and sheephead today!! Highly recommend Captain Patrick and Ugly Fishing. First time for trout, catch 8 and had fun with this big sheephead!

We went out with Captain Patrick today and had a ball. We went on the nearshore trip and we caught four different species and some really nice specimens. Patrick couldn’t have been a better guide for us. He went all out to get my wife a red snapper. He made us feel like family on his boat.

I have fished multiple times with Patric and after every trip I’m ready to book another one! Patric is in such demand that he stays booked up for months in advance so keep in mind the good guys have few spots available on the fly. Patric always teaches me new tactics in new water. I love that he uses great rod and reels so that we spend all our time fishing and not fixing. Great guide when taking the wife and/or kids.
