NOTE: Google has the wrong business hours and won't let me edit them. Please look at the pics for the actual times This is a little jewel hidden in a strip mall. Food is always fantastic, specially porotos granados, mote con huesillo and empanadas!

🇨🇱 CHILE Excerpt from Eat the World Los Angeles: The label of "national dish" is something that is always a bit fluid, and Chile might have the longest list of this or that claimed by one person or another, but the most unique of them might be the pastel de choclo ($9.99). They have a few of these in the refrigerated case ready to be reheated (if you choose), but they also work just as well to take home and stick in the oven. Hidden beneath a burnt and crispy (in a good way) top layer is a savory corn and chicken casserole that also includes onions, raisins, and olives. The dark meat has all been taken off the bone, making this very easy to eat. Like the empanadas, it combines elements of sweet and savory. Without the meat, it could almost be eaten as a dessert.

I have been going here nearly all my life. Best sandwiches, empanadas and bread. I recommend the churasco, the beef empanada and marraquetas to take home and toast in the morning. Worried about picky-eating kids, cheese empanada is a great beginner. Everything else is super delicious as well, but I just like beef. Trust. Pricing is half and half.

Best empanadas in the south bay. Chilean empanadas are meant to be meals, unlike the argentinean empanadas that are tiny, this ones are large and extra large. I wish they had better pastries. The people there are very polite.

Small deli in a smaller plaza but it offers what it has; empanadas and sandwiches. A bit on the expensive side for the quality.

We absolutely love this place. The empanadas de pino and empandas de queso are delicious. Porotos granados and great too. It's super affordable and very friendly service. I agree with other reviewers that the bread is on the harder side. I also think they could do a better job in the bakery department. There are so many great Chilean pastries and they have the bare minimum. All that said, I'm a big fan.

Came here because I've been craving Pastel de Choclo. Though I'm not Chilean (or Hispanic), the Pastel de Choclo satiated my cravings. Will consider coming here when I need my Pastel de Choclo since it's so rare finding this dish in California :)

We got there around 4:30 I wanted to eat a churrasco, the lady told me that they didn’t have anything because they were going to a quinceañera, I asked what time they close and she told me that usually 7 but they were going to close earlier… we drove out of our way to eat at this place I was really excited but that they didn’t have anything… sad

Definitely recommended for those willing to try authentic chilean flavors with a distinctive home-cooked seal. A little pricey but worth it considering the small scale operation, quality, and variety of their menu. As a Chilean resident in LA this place makes me happy and proud to see a family business bringing together our amazing dishes with a remarkably balanced use of seasoning. The humitas w/ensalada chilena are one of my fav dishes ever and your version is really good! Gracias, mucho éxito y viva Chile!!!
