I have been going there for years and years, I love the food and the person that runs it Jose, I have watched it change hands from the owner (Todd) to an asian couple and Jose was still running it. It seemed that something happened and it went back to Todd and David ? no idea who that is new partner and low and behold Jose made it though. The main reason that I go there was because of how we were treated by Jose and the Staff. When ever we have anyone come from out town thats where we would go for lunch(it's always funny to see the newbe's try and make there plate) However now I just found out that Jose is not there any longer and will promt me not to try it with new owners and people that seems like it is just a job to them. Jose would always welcome us when we went there and always walked around to see how people were doing and taking care of everyone like we were family. I work for a family business and have been with them now for 26yrs about as long as Jose been at wok n south. I like to support local businesses and love the people that work for them they seem more down to earth. I am sorry that I feel this way and would love to go back their but without Jose just can;t see myself making back to JUST A BUSINESS. I will miss you my friend hope I see you on the streets. SO VERY Sad

Was hungry and saw this place was all you can eat for $18.99. Drove here from Ventura to try it out and glad I did! The service was friendly and great. The food was great , not a long wait. A lot of different options to choose from. Was excited to see Pineapple sauce. House Sauce was good , Garlic Sauce too. Thought I was going to eat 3-4 plates only ended up eating 2. Was looking for the all you can eat Dessert!! Where’s that at?! Add Serrano Peppers to the bar I think it will do great and add more spice! Maybe Habenero too. Was pretty cool reading about Japanese Zodiac too. I’m a Rabbit lol 10/10.

We have been coming here for years. The owner is super friendly always comes to hang out n chat and gives us his special home made hot sauces. Proceed with caution if you try one they are hot! Good food for the price. One of the few places around here you can get away with a 10$ meal

All you can eat Mongolian BBQ for $18.95 a person. The options are huge and I definitely got my moneys worth. A lot of different meats to choose from, some of which include imitation crab, beef, pork, and chicken. They also have a large variety of vegetable toppings. My favorite is the baby corn and the water chestnuts. I had to ask for help on the sauces because there were so many and I didn't know what I was doing but it tasted delicious. The dinner includes soups, breads, and wontons as well. We met the owner and he was very welcoming and friendly. The only downside is their air conditioning is currently broken, but they had fans set up all over the place and I felt comfortable. Can't wait to come back.

Been going to this place for years. It's been good but now it's better with a new owner. The cook is still the same, probably 30 years. He's been working there. They got a little rundown but now it's cleaned up fresh paint and they've added a few new items to the menu. Overall really good food.

This is our second time visiting. The food is fresh and well cooked. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

Wonderful meal! 4 stars due to the seriously tinny tone of the music. Spend a few bucks on a better speaker! It really is shrill almost hurting my ears. Otherwise I am totally happy with my first visit!

This place is a jewel tucked back in Palm Plaza! It is truly authentic Mongolian BBQ. The staff is very friendly. It's fun to watch the cook as he stirs the meat and eggies on the huge griddle.

My favorite Mongolian BBQ around. I have been coming here for 10+ years. Old management was great, new management is great. An excellent place to try something new or to get the classic mix. 11/10

I’ve been coming here for over 15 years now. The ownership recently changed, but the food quality, flavor, and ambiance are even slightly better than before—but the bar was already very high. One of my favorite spots in Ventura County.

We have eaten here several times since the original owners took back over this year. It has been a fantastic experience every time. Oscar, the manager, has been with the group for years. He actually opened the other Mongolian BBQ restaurant down in Camarillo. They did a full makeover on the place. It’s so nice and clean now. And the food was amazing! I’m not much for all-you-can-eat, but it’s fun to make a few different style dishes I’m one visit. If you’re not for the endless visits, they have the single-dish lunch special, or takeaway. We enjoy the staff and food so much that we took the extended family there for a birthday. As always, they were extremely accommodating. Thanks for bringing another great option to The Conejo Valley guys!

From the moment you walk in Oscar makes you feel right at home. This place is super chill and simple. You come for the food and ease of everything. It's always fun to pile your bowl high to thr sky before it is thrown down on the hot iron open skillet and cooked to perfection. You even put on plastic gloves so you can smash your meat down and really load it in. The last part I needed help with was piling the noodle on which appeared to be some type of lost art that Oscar mastered. The lunch comes with soup, wontons, and bread. You can linger, get in and out fast or carry out. I took home enough for another meal with my leftovers buy my male companion (and the many others in the room) didn't seem to have that luxury as it was all gone. Easy and plentiful free parking. Beer and soda are available and an upbeat attitude.

Always great! A family place for 20some! years same people. All you can eat ..often just one plate! B/c the choices are so great you are stuffed before it's finished. The husband & wife team who run the place are kind & amazingly attentive, as are their kids. The cook has been there since they opened, he too is helpful and friendly. A local place, run by a local family.

I just found this place after living in Thousand Oaks for most of my life. It is under new management and said they are going to update the place. I thought the food was amazing and the staff very personable. I definitely recommend eating here.
