If you want good Mediterranean food with a chilled atmosphere, Simply Falafel is the place to visit. This was my first visit to this restaurant. Remember from previous reviews, I never give five stars on the first visit, but this place receives four of them. When you walk in you will experience a relaxed family atmosphere. You’ll see a mix of college students, business people, and those who are living the leisure life. You step up to the counter, you look up on the chalkboard, and make your food choices. A nice but direct white haired gentleman will take your order. Once you’ve completed your order, you are given a table number and find a seat. I look for good service, delicious food, and a clean place when I review a place. You’ll see that here. Service was great because of Savannah and the white haired guy who is her father. Savannah is a friendly person who will do her best to serve you. Please tip her well, because she is the wait staff. Taste of food was on the money. The lettuce wrap, the Caesar salad, and the gyro platter is worth the price of $16. If I wasn’t so stuffed, I would have ordered a second helping. I followed it up with the tiramisu that was $5.50 but worth it. Yeah, I left room to eat tiramisu. The restaurant was spotless. However, I didn’t need to visit the restroom at that time. Overall, if you want good Mediterranean food, a relaxed place, and just want to people watch, go to Simply Falafel.

Our experience at Simply Falafel has been more than simply extraordinary. We had two gatherings with friends and family during our one week trip to Edmond. We were treated like long time friends and were given a tour of Mediterranean cuisine by its proud and knowledgeable owner. Food was prepared and served with love. It was more than just food. We felt like we traveled to the Middle East and we were dining at a cozy, warm home in beautiful Damascus. If you are in Edmond, experiencing Simple Falafel is a must. Our new favorite place, for just dinner or banquets.

Without any doubt, the food was wonderful. The staff was impeccable. The atmosphere was warm and cozy. If you are reading this, then you need to put your phone down and go eat here. I cannot recommend it enough. I will tell anyone and everyone to visit and see for themselves. Sorry for the lack of photos, the food looked too good not to eat right away.

I am a Army Recruiter TDY to Oklahoma and wanted to try a restaurant that is something different from the burger chains etc. Let's face it in Oklahoma there is a million. This food knocked my socks off. I had the meat plater which was pretty large. It came with three meats, French fries, rice or something else, soup or salad of your choice. The meat was so fresh and tasty. I also tried the Turkish coffee which was well worth it! The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend but don't take my word for it try it yourself! Update: This is my second time and I love the food! It's so fresh and the Turkish coffee is so strong! 😍

I ate here today because Zoe's kitchen is closed to be honest. Now I will make a point to eat here over Zoe's kitchen anytime I'm in the Edmond area! The food was excellent and the service was so amazing! Very inviting friendly staff which was so refreshing!

We love Simply Falafel! Magid truly cares for his customers and business. We feel in love with them. This is the only restaurant that me and the husband frequent. He catered our wedding and it was a huge hit! You will not regret your experience!

Chicken Shwarma and grilled vegetables are so very good. The Turkish coffee is the best I've had. The owner checks on his customers every day. Might even sit for coffee with them once he knows them. The Tabouli is so much more than you'll taste anywhere else! It's the owner's personal/family recipe. Just an order of this will put a smile on your face. The other salads are also delicious.

The owner is amazing! So friendly and welcoming! The food hot, fresh and light but satisfying! I have only been once but let me warn you, you crave the flavor. I look forward to eating there again. BTW they cater!

This was the smallest and not cheapest gyro i have ever purchased. It looked like it was thrown together, the foil was not wrapped tight around the pita, and condiments were falling out. Had to rewrap it to eat it. Oh, and i had to go back inside to ask for taziki sauce as they didn't put one in as all gyros should at least come with one... very very disappointed

The baklava was amazing! Unfortunately, the rest of the food I tried (chicken kabob platter with both types of rice) was decent but not great. The chicken was a bit dry, and the rice seemed lacking in seasoning compared to other Mediterranean restaurants. Certainly not bad, but not something I would go out of my way for. My husband had the lamb and said it was pretty good, so maybe I just got unlucky with my entree choice.

A must try location in Oklahoma City. Definitely a stop for us every time we come down. The service is incredible and it is clear they take a lot of pride in what they do. You have to try the Turkish Coffee!

One of my favorite places to eat with my wife. If you walk in looking confused, as we did on our first visit, the owner will gladly order for you. And what he got us was excellent. We've been several times since then. Recently celebrated our 11 wedding anniversary here. I'll eat here every chance I get.

Ordered the falafel and Greek gyro sandwiches. Gyro meat was tender and had good flavor. Falafel was some of the best we've had in the metro-light, crispy and flavorful. The sandwiches had a pickle in them which was different but we liked it. Tomato basil soup was a bit tart for my liking but a great meal overall.

Overall good food. Their dolma's are a bit bland and served cold (not my preference but others might like it) but their gyro meat is delicious as is their garlic sauce. Very pleasant experience. Also, their platters have plenty of food so no going home hungry.

Great spot for lunch! It is run by very friendly and generous people. The menu is huge! We ordered the chicken shawarma and it was super yummy, especially with the garlic sauce. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

This is some of the best Mediterranean food I have ever had and I travel often and eat many places. I definitely recommend the chicken shawarma sandwich, Greek salad, and hummus! The owner is extremely nice as well. Any time I am in Edmond I stop here to eat!

Very fresh food. The food looked delicious. The freshest dolma I have had in Oklahoma. Pretty good falafel. I am pretty sure everything here is made in the restaurant. My only complaint was the lack of salt and spice amount. Not saying it was bad at all....it was just mildly flavored. The spice profile was awesome just not very robust like I would expect. Maybe catering to the local palette. I would absolutely go again. The place was extremely clean. The owner and staff are awesome. This is the first place I have been with gluten-free pita bread and it was delicious.
