This particular night that I went to the #africanheritageculturalartscenter the children we're dancing and showing their knowledge about Swahili and the African cultural knowledge that they have learned for a Kwanzaa it was very entertaining and I'm very impressed with the teachers associated with the program.

I found it to be a welcoming place. I was greeted by smiling and knowledgeable personnel who showed me what a great community resource it is. I saw a very powerful art exposition at the gallery. When I left I felt satisfied and with a feeling of well-being. Though it is now being refurbished, I met a family that was also visiting . The father told me that he had grown up going there and learning to play two musical instruments. It is a place that, in my opinion, deserves our support.

My son has been in the summer program for the past few years and my little sister has also joined. It had been a great experience as he had been listening so much about the arts and having fun at the same time! The shows at the end are remarkable. Don't let the location fool you. This is a gem, a staple in our community!

Long years for this wonderful cultural establishment. I love this place. Many many African Americans have started musical and dance classes here. I too grew up around the corner and now my children and later on my Grand children can enjoy learning and growing in the performing arts. Thank you so much for all the people who put teaching into this place.

My daughter attends the aftercare program. This program is a god send. Lovely and talented staff. My daughter thrives here. They have frequent performances which I appreciate because it showcases the work and education the children are receiving. It’s a very safe environment and the children are very happy

We experienced our Parent Orientation for the Summer Program participants. Absolutely thrilled for this summer's attributes within this organization! From the very beginning, the meeting started exactly at the time it was scheduled for, the instructors are all knowledgeable in their prospective fields and the class schedules and supplies list was sent a week out so that we could ask questions. They also explained the importance of your child attending daily for the entire time. A camp that wants your child and cares for their well-being! I'm truly excited for my daughters. Just a note: I attended this same camp as a youth. The same director is still there! Amazing!

This place is full of love. Every person that leaves here leaves with a piece of love and hope for a better tomorrow. It's always a pleasure working with the staff here and now they are remodeling the building to make it handicap friendly. They have a great program for children in the area and performance by local artist. What a great place to be in. Unfortunately, we have to becareful walking alone at night, the area is not safe, like every other area. Come check it out!

My visit to the Africsn Heritge Cultural Center was unplanned, and it was a positive experience. The staff was professional, and the facility was clean. A must-see while visiting the area.

Wonderful virtual summer camp my kids love it and have something productive and educational to do while room. The teachers know the material and how to teach it so the kids grasp the concepts while enjoying the classes. I hope they maintain a virtual option as we are not residing near the physical location.
