The food, while superficially exotic, is plain and hearty. It's also well-crafted and tasty. We enjoyed the mushroom and prosciutto cheese oats very much. The mulled wine was tasty. The dumplings were a bit too thick.

I came here on my BDay to celebrate! Celebrating with some cheesy food was a great idea. This is a Cheese-taculer place! Service: Wonderfull service, tips included, so no stress on that. The explain the menu well and quick to serve you. I love how my waiter warned me about my order size, but am only here one time, so I knew Ill take some of it home! Very nice, friendly, and cool~ Cheese Pizza Bread: The cheese bread is amazingly cheesy with tons of cheese goodness inside this cheesebread that is well worth it, you can share it with 4 people, becuase it sure it cheesy and filling! Meatball Heeseboat: The bread has yogurt it in, so its soft with a lot of flavor. The mozzarella cheese is beautifully melted and the meatballs were amazing. The spices in the meat made it pop and it was very soft. One is enough for 2 people Some small mushroom square appetizer: Flaky crust with mushrooms. Of course, tons of cheese again! A bit small for me, but overall amazing to try! Overall I LOVE it, too bad I live too far to come often! The best part is that you can really just buy one cheeseboat and share it with two. Thats like a lunch or dinner costing less than 30 bucks with tip included. So if you on a date and know you don't have money, but still want to look cool and impress the girl/guy/non-gender with a cool place, then Cheeseboat it is! Either way, it is a great place to gey your cheese fix, it is wonderful and will definitely come back if am in the area! My cholesterol is beyond imagination after the visit, so I need to hit the gym for a few weeks to work it off! Its worth it!

Amazing menu offerings. Cheeseboats are fun and large enough to share. Cheese breads are also large portion. Good place to order a few things to split. Plenty of outdoor seating options. Service was great. Overall a great atmosphere. Highly recommend the honeycomb and brie cheeseboat! Interesting bathroom with chalkboard walls and a nefarious looking stuffed clown.

We have had a fantastic experience at this Georgian restaurant. The cozy, inviting atmosphere and impeccable service made our visit memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was impressed by their extensive selection of excellent Georgian wines. Classic Cheeseboat (Adjarian Khachapuri) and Khinkali are the dishes you must try. I highly recommend this place for an authentic taste of Georgia!

Honestly had high expectations for this place but I was let down, the kachapuri was intensely overwhelming! The size of it was just to much and it was a lot of cheese not enough bread to work with… the sauce it came with was delicious. The meat crepes were not terrible, but 20$ for 3 crepes and some sour creme is a bit much. Following with the dessert, the napoleon was not good at all it was really flavorless felt like I was eating baked pastry dough with condensed milk and powder sugar… this experience was something I guess.

A bit on the saltier end so will prob ask for less if possible next time but otherwise super rich and tasty food! Bread is delicious, seems to be baked fresh with every order. It’s great for sopping up the delicious sauces. The salad was a great for balancing out the richness of the other dishes, highly recommend adding that to your order.

Food took longer than 70 minutes. No warning from staff, no checkups during the wait, probably understaffed but would have preferred they be candid. Sat with empty drinks for the entire time because no one would even ask if we wanted another while we waited. 18% tip forced on a 3 person table with 0 warning. Food is good but transparency / communication is a deal breaker in these situations.

The service was impeccable - attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Now, let's talk about the food – absolutely divine! Each dish was bursting with authentic Georgian flavors and prepared with evident expertise. But the real surprise was the cocktails - beautifully crafted, innovative, and perfectly balanced. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. The combination of fantastic food, stellar service, and a charming ambiance makes this restaurant an absolute gem

WOW! What a wonderful place! If you are cheese lover, then you should definitely give it a try. The menu has so many interesting options to choose from. We ordered Shkmeruli Chicken'boat and Honeycomb Brie. Both of them were super big and super delicious! I can't wait to come back and try other options.

Can I soak myself in this cheeseboat?? The dough was so soft and the generous amount of cheese 🧀 is to die for! FYI they have a 18% service charge to pay their staff a livable wage

Only in Brooklyn! When your favorite Pakistani burger joint is closed, we stumbled into a Georgian Restaurant and had a magical evening. It was a quiet night and we were treated like family. Our whole conversation was about the food and the drinks, and how each culture really makes their mark! We (3) shared: meat creps (delicuous); a chicken cheese boat, soup dumplings and a Brie & Honey cheese boat. We were stuffed, satiated and stunned by the bread, ingredients and the sauces on the side! (I’m still thinking about the garlic sauce that came with the Chicken Cheeseboat, and the herb sauce for the dumplings!) It was a terrific night, amplified by Georgian red wine and a couple of Mr. Zelinskis that made us start craving ice cream at 10 pm. (They were sold out of Napolians) A magical night on Brooklyn that really showcased the cultural and culinary hidden gems that are right around the corner!

Delicious food and great service! We loved the cheese boat, Shkmeruli chicken, and the house Georgian wine. Reservations are super easy. Honestly a hidden gem in Williamsburg.

This cute little Georgian restaurant is located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Now let’s talk about this cheesy heaven - we got 2 regular cheese boats and I got the mushroom cheese boat with egg. If you’re obsessed with cheese like me then you have to eat here and I promise you won’t be disappointed. The bread was so soft and doughy and the cheese was delicious. The staff was so sweet and friendly and the service quick. The only negative was the that it was pricey $$. Overall such a good Sunday brunch experience and we ll be back soon for more 🥰 Pro tip - go on an empty stomach 😁

If you want authenticity to the cuisine, this place is it. I was raised on Georgian food. The food is delicious. No question. My complaint is that the servers seemed woefully understaffed so management is not operating strongly here. Besides the time wait, which was significant to the point where you think “Oh, I should probably ask for the check now (halfway through my meal) if I want to get out of here at a reasonable hour”. As an example, we had ordered a shot from the bar (which was about 10-15 ft away from our table) and waited for a good long while. I’m talking probably 35+ minutes. The most frustrating part was that the bar tender- a woman who looks far too relaxed considering everyone else seemed very stressed + overworked- had received the order and several others and was not getting to them. She was half cleaning a glass and half chatting with someone casually. And after about 20 min after the order went in we watch her leave the restaurant for a smoke break (10-15 minutes) and when she returns she is still moving at a very relaxed pace. And then from here it probably took another 10 minutes or so before we got the shot. My brain could not process that level of ignorance at a nice restaurant. Another example was the level of difficulty to get any of the servers attention. It’s not that big of a place. Maybe it was an off night? Step up your game management.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and casual. The service was fantastic! The server let me sample the wine before ordering. We were the last guests in there, but they were so friendly and let us hang out anyway. We’ll definitely go back.

Unfortunately, this Georgian restaurant lost the charm, and originality they used to have years ago. It became just a bar + Americanized Georgian restaurant. The waiter who served me was a young hipster with dirty t shirt and dirty pants who had no knowledge for Georgian wine and food. All food had less spices / herbs, normally Georgian cuisine has. Probably they changed recipes to get more American customers, just same as Chinese, Thai restaurants make food less spices. Chama mama in Chelsea has the best Georgian food and atmosphere. I won't go back to Cheese boat.

I wouldn’t recommend it! We ordered an appetizer sampler and the food was ice cold, straight from the fridge, and they only gave us a very little piece of bread to go with the dish - considering that the whole dish was made of spreadable stuff. We asked for more bread, and it was also super cold. For the money we paid I think it would have been cheaper and more convenient to fly straight to Tbilisi. Sorry, but not sorry.

April 20, 2023 I was there to celebrate my husband's birthday. booked a table for 4 pm for 5 people and 2 toddlers. after 1.5j waiting we had no food on the table. The kids were hungry and we were whining, I asked the waitress for bread for the kids but she didn't have time to bring it to us. After about 2 hours of waiting only 1 of my guests got food, we kept waiting. when they were finally brought to us, it turned out that 1 dish was missing. friend resigned. eating at the restaurant and found the meal home. in the meantime we ordered drinks but it was also unavailable because the bartender disappeared for half an hour. service below zero, I am not happy and very disappointed that it took place on my husband's birthday. It was supposed to be a pleasant surprise but it was an unpleasant disappointment. the only positive thing was the food, which everyone enjoyed. but after 2 hours of waiting for a meal, even dry bread tastes good

Honestly this place is great. We had friends in town for a post wedding reception and did a large group dinner with 18 people the night before here. They let us sample wines before ordering bottles that were all so delicious. Every cheeseboat was amazing, and the steak one had perfectly cooked steak on top. The staff were welcoming, accommodating, and the price point was great for NYC. Nice, welcoming atmosphere, wonderful staff and great food. So happy we found this place. We will be back! Also best hummus of my life!!

I don't even know how to describe how much I love this place. I have been here about a dozen times over the past 5-6 years. Their cheeseboats are mouth-watering and delicious. I recommend this place to all my friends and newcomers to NYC. This restaurant is like a Georgian- American fusion so they have traditional Georgian recipes (with an added American "flair" I expect) and some Americanized dishes but I don't remember their menu well besides these cheeseboats!! They have a variety of them, and I usually just get 2-3 to split with friends, and their house salad which is also delicious. The restaurant vibes are cozy- casual and last time I was there they have outdoor seating. Recommend 10000%.

It was great, I sat outside on a nice warm day and I have to say their shakshuka was sooo good I had it on my mind the rest of the day. The steak and eggs cheeseboard was also super good, it was just the right amount of steak to cheese to bread.
