My husband and I have never done a cooking class before, so we didn’t know what to expect. Shailini was warm and welcoming and we enjoyed talking with her throughout the night. She had us prep each dish and explained things clearly. Every dish was amazing! We ate by candlelight in the dining room. It was such a great night. Would definitely recommend trying one of her classes!

I was looking online for a local cooking class to gift my boyfriend, and I came across cozy meals. He is gluten-free, and I was able to find a chocolate tutorial class with chef Lisa. I am so glad I purchased this class! Lisa was very responsive prior to the class. Giving me details about parking, directions, and very accommodating with food allergies. The class took place at her home, where she supplied all of the ingredients and equipment. She had such a warm, cozy space that it felt like we were at a close friend's house! Lisa was so friendly and welcoming. Super informative about what we were going to be doing and helped us along the way. She was supportive and thoughtful but kept the class really fun! The chocolate was delicious, and we had plenty of treats to take home! I would definitely recommend a class with Lisa, and I look forward to doing more in the future! 10/10 recommend!!

Excellent experience with Chef Antonio. Truly took the time to understand how important making the dough! Made two pizza’s, sampled the delicious arancini and cannoli! Chef Antonio was a delight and very engaging. Truly knew his stuff. Highly recommend it!

Chef Lisa is spectacular. Not only does she have the brightest affect, but she is also really engaging, thorough, and makes every class more than just a step-by-step instructional experience. She truly makes each event unique and special and takes the time to ensure everyone is on track and assists anyone having difficulties. I actively seek classes that she leads. I cannot wait until the next one!! I highly recommend Cozymeal, and have the highest regard and praise for Chef Lisa!!!!

This was a spectacular experience! I took a class with Shailini and not only was the experience great, the food was unbelievable. I recommend all to take a class with Shailini. She's warm, funny, extremely generous, and wants her guests to be comfortable. A great date night. I can't say enough!

Great class and a fantastic experience. Learned a good amount in a short time and had plenty of hands on training which works best for me. I will be taking every class that Chef Antonio puts on.

This was a blast. I purchased this for my niece as a gift and went with her and my wife. We didn’t know what to expect, but turned out to be a lot of fun. Chef Antonio was very patient with us (we had never made our own pasta before) and attentive. He was incredibly knowledgeable and could answer any question we had- and then some! There was zero pressure and it was all just fun and good eats. We definitely walked away feeling empowered like we could do this in our own home. Highly recommend!

I purchased this as a gift for my parents, they were so thrilled and loved the idea. When Chef Harold arrived, my mom immediately texted me that he was so professional, kind, and went on to provide such a wonderful experience. I believe there was even more food than advertised which was great. If you are a looking to purchase a unique date night for yourself or as a gift, look no further! My parents had an amazing time.

Chef Shailini was both extremely welcoming and kind throughout the whole experience, and the food was amazing! I received this gift card in 2019, and definitely was worth the wait. I wish I redeemed it sooner. She has a beautiful home and kitchen and the story telling and being able to participate was like being among friends. This was a wonderful evening and highly recommend this class. My fiance and I have the new skills of making chutney and kheer at home, and will be a staple in our fridge. 11/10 recommend!

Chef Lisa was wonderful. We made Irish soda bread and honey cinnamon butter with family to celebrate our mother's birthday. Lisa was so personable, patient and made our mother feel really special. She took us step by step and checked on each of us individually. It was like being in an in person class! I will be scheduling another class with her really soon!

Chef Melissa was amazing! She is an excellent host and instructor. It was just my friend and I in class which made it even more personalized and she made it so much fun. We learned so much, had great conversation, even better food, and we had so many delicious leftovers! I really enjoyed this class and would recommend it to anyone. I plan on taking another one of her classes soon. Thank you!

Chef Melissa was phenomenal! We went for my sister’s birthday. Melissa was so welcoming and made us feel at home in her home. She organized fun and insightful activities and made cooking fun. The food was delicious and we will be back. She a great teacher and super gracious!

Chef Antonio is as classy as they come. I’m not the biggest cook but I wanted to do something special for my wife on our one year anniversary. He was very hands on and really cared about us enjoying the experience. 10/10 and next time we visit Boston we will definitely be making the trip back!!! Saluti Antonio

Our experience with Chef Melissa is a joy we will forever treasure. She is funny, personable, and a great instructor. We appreciate her welcoming us into her space and providing us with an unparalleled cooking experience. Our time together with the other couple was filled with joy, fun, and a love for learning. I surprised my boyfriend with this class because he loves cooking and is a major foodie. This was such a wonderful gift to him and myself as well! It brought us closer together in a super fun way. The meal (Dumplings & Wantons etc) came out super delicious and there was plenty left over to take home. Chef Melissa is clearly well versed in her craft as well as a wide variety of other cuisines. She gave us insight in the meal we were preparing and inquired on what foods we liked to cook in our everyday lives to provide us with helpful hints how to edify our meals. We will certainly be booking with her again. Well worth the investment in self and my relationship! I encourage anyone with the slightest curiosity to move forward and take this class! It is a one of a kind experience for sure.

Chef Antônio exceeded our expectations for a team event. He hosted a pasta making class at our office (we only had access to outlets and a sink not a full kitchen) and he and his helper were able to teach our group of 12 how to make 3 different pasta styles which we all participated in and then he cooked and served us each dish. Everyone was very impressed with the experience and was great as an activity for our team to do together. Would highly recommend this class!

We did the tour of Asia class with Chef Harald and it was such a great birthday gift! The food was exceptional and he shared the recipes and background of each dish and kept the experience so fun and informative! He has a great sense of humor and we will definitely be booking again for his other classes in the future. My favorite dish was the Korean style wings and the nigiri. Some of the most flavorful dishes I’ve ever had and the amount of food we each got was substantial 😋

We had a wonderful experience at Chef Melissa's place. Not only is she an outstanding chef, she is warm and friendly and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. She shared her love for the food and culture of Japan as well as other Asian countries. The food was delicious, made from the freshest and best quality ingredients, truly a great experience. Highly recommended!!

I gave my son a Cozymeal cooking class (Asian Street Food) as a Christmas gift and he and I had the opportunity to cook with Chef Harold this morning. When I first saw the Cozymeal site, I have to admit, I was skeptical. It seemed to be too good to be true that a private chef would come to our house and cook with us for about the same price as a group cooking class that we would have had to drive 30-45 minutes into Boston to participate in. But I figured we'd give it a try. I'm so glad we did! Chef Harold was flexible (switching seafood ingredients for chicken and pork when I told him my son didn't eat seafood), friendly, knowledgeable and helped us make delicious food! He also agreed to send us the recipes and we will definitely be making some of the dishes again ourselves. This is going to be my go-to gift idea in the future!

We have attended a number of great Cozy Meal virtual cooking and mixology classes but this weekend's Irish Soda Bread class was by far the best. Chef Lisa was amazing. She was funny, easy to follow and informative. Can't wait to see what classes she offers next.

What a fun evening!!! Chef Harold came and prepared so much incredible dishes (miso soup, sushi tacos, sushi rolls) and we loved learning how to prepare and roll the sushi - very hands on!!! Chef Harold shared stories, recipes and took great photos! Absolutely recommend this experience - GREAT memory!!!

We have been trying to make the perfect macaron for a while now and finally, with Chef Lisa's help, we did it! She is so great. She takes time with everyone, checking with each person along the way. We will definitely look for her classes again. We think she's a wizard!! Thanks, Chef Lisa!

  • 5/5 Sue D. 1 year ago on Google
Chef Lisa was a great teacher and made sure everyone in the class felt included and was successful. She gave lots of details, pro tips, encouragement and explained the science behind the macaron making process. She was funny, engaging and so very sweet. It was a great evening and I look forward to taking more classes with her.

Chef Lisa is very talented! My husband and I loved her Macaroon and Macaron class. We were very impressed with Lisa's precision and personalization of the class. We were able to make some complicated recipes with her expert guidance and were very pleased with all the sweets we brought home!

We did the Sushi Spectacular with Chef Harold. The sushi was delicious and we learned some techniques. Harold has had a long sushi career and he answered all our questions, so now we can feel more confident making our own sushi in the future. Plus, he was very entertaining and kept us laughing for the whole 2 hours.

Absolutely lovely experience! It was our first Cozymeal class, and we loved it! Chef Lisa made us feel very comfortable right away and the evening was like hanging out with a friend... who happens to be super knowledgeable about chocolate and let us get our hands dirty (literally) making gourmet chocolates! I also appreciated that she make modifications to our class to fit with my dietary needs. Highly recommend this class!

Chef Vanessa was well versed in food and cooking techniques and also fun. She had us involved in the whole meal but helped as needed. The menu was delicious and exactly as advertised. We chose to go to her and not have her travel to us but we were surprised to actually be cooking in her home. Other cooking classes I have done were at a restaurant or shared kitchen. This was not bad but unexpected. Class was about three hours and we had a great time with a nice break in between cooking each course so that we could enjoy the food. We had plenty to eat too. Yum!

Chef Shailini was delightful! Not only was the Nepalese food delicious but there were so many courses! Our class ran long, due to all the amazing dishes we cooked. But we had such a great group of people in the class with us, the time just flew by.

“Chef Shailini was awesome! She welcomed us warmly into her home and her food was absolutely delicious. We loved hearing stories about her meals and recipes, and getting to know her and the other students in the class! Would definitely recommend!”

We had a wonderful experience with Chef Shailini. Her warmth and joyfulness set the tone for a wonderful evening. She was an excellent teacher and cook, making it easy for us to learn the skills to make an exceptional selection of appetizers. She clearly loves what she does! We can’t wait to take another class with her.

Chef Harold was incredibly engaging and created a really fun, personal experience in his sushi making class which made for a fantastic date night! I'd highly recommend his class to anyone who is curious to learn about the art of creating sushi (and eating amazing food along the way!).

Chef Antonio was amazing! The entire night was packed with information, laughter, hands on pizza making, and delicious sampling. Plenty of pizza to bring home too!

  • 3/5 SARA W. 2 months ago on Google • 2 reviews New
The food was really good. Ultimately we enjoyed it however, I wish there was more direction on preparing the ingredients ahead of time ( how to best cut the herbs and nuts). The things that were already done ( green beans and a few items in the salad bowl) would have been good to acknowledge what was done to them. Lastly, I think the ingredients should be shared between two people not four.

As an anniversary gift I bought my wife and I a class with Chef Melissa and the whole experience was exceptional. I didn’t know what to expect. Melissa was vibrant and enthusiastic and very good at letting us feel at home in her space! She taught us about each ingredient and we had great fun learning how to fold and wrap dumplings and wontons. We shared a lot of laughs, but I was floored when at the end she surprised us with a home made dessert and a heart shaped sparkler! She really went over and beyond to make it a fun and memorable experience, and now we’re not afraid to try and make our own dumplings at home!

Chef Antonio was engaging, funny, and charming! We had a blast, and learned valuable lessons about making pasta. His love for cooking is informed by his passion for painting, and he approaches the work as an artist. It was inspiring! A perfect date night for us. Thanks!
