I'm getting a bone marrow transplant here. The nurses, doctors, and rest of the staff are amazing. They go out of the way to make sure the patient is treated with respect and taken care of.

Gamma and Cyber knife here. My experience is with Director Dr. Chang. Quick and swift treatment, careful every 90 day MRI checkups for growth then yearly. Recently had Gama knife again and this newest machine replacing cyber knife. I forget the name of that machine.....blue something but doing great. Dr. Chang is in Administration...Dr. Jason Ye is in charge now.

Based on Kecks reputation a friend of mine came here for an initial examination, with a colonoscopy. The day of the colonoscopy he was sedated, had the test, was instructed to get a CAT scan that day, we went to imaging and were told the appointment was for the next day. I took my friend to eat then home, he was just about to take nap when KECK called to say he was supposed to be there that afternoon. By the time we got the call it was too late to go back. We returned the next day for scans. That was an alright experience. We returned for consultation, the doctor seemed physically and mentally somewhere else, not the least bit interested in the patient. Last night my friend needed a pain medics refill. We called the doctor after hours as per instructions from hospital packet, the doctor just said NO! Instead of first even asking about the level of pain. Now I do understand the procedure for pain medication? I was frustrate with her flippant attitude because I know I wasn’t rude. Returned again today at 0600 for MRI, we were a few. United later because my friend was in pain ( had no mess) we ran 5 minutes late, the valet parking smashed my car into a parking sign. We got to imaging and we were told we had to now wait we missed our appointment. My friend told him how he felt and the man said that’s it his problem. My friend is on medical! So if KECk and Norris don’t want to care for medical patients then stop waistline people’s time. Dissapointed but not surprised.👎

I had my radiation treatment done here. I wouldn't go anywhere else! They took the best care of me and continue to do so! Have been in remission and intend to stay that way. Thank you Dr. Ye, Danielle and staff! Love you all!

We came to visit a family member. Initially we waited around 10 minutes for someone at the security front desk. Finally Diana appeared she was very polite and help us. Thank you to a gentleman (staff member)who was concerned that we were waiting for too long. I couldn’t see his ID. Nevertheless thank you

I fully attribute my dad still being alive and with me to the exceptional care he received at USC Norris. My dad was originally admitted to Palmdale Regional Medical Center who gave him HORRIBLE care and in fact gave him Ativan, which put him to sleep and rendered him in a coma after they let him sleep w/o his bipap machine. He almost died and had to be intubated. I had him transferred to USC Norris and he was in a very bad condition. Within the week of being at USC Norris ICU, they brought my dad BACK from the brink of death. They got him out of his coma, rehabilitated him and nursed him back to health. They were caring for him AND me as the patient's family. They finally (after many many other doctors) properly diagnosed him with b cell lymphoma and paraganglioma. My father's hematologist, Dr. Anil Tulpule, started chemo treatments on my dad and as of February of this year, my dad is lymphoma free. Dad is now home and FAR better off than he was when he was first transferred to USC Norris ICU. We now have ALL my dad's doctor's through USC Norris or Keck. They are the BEST MEDICAL TEAM we have ever had. They take the time, they care, and they are just the best in the business!!

I have been visiting the Day Hospital @Norris for the past six months, and my overall experience has been excellent. The staff and nurses are outstanding and incredibly helpful. The cafeteria downstairs is quite decent. I usually park at the Biggy Parking Lot and take advantage of the patient discounted parking at $10. However, I do wish they had a system similar to the parking across the street at Keck.

Be very careful when doing your cancer treatment in this place. I talked to Dr. Gino In about medically ending my life. Since they lost control of my care, I didn’t want to go on suffering. He referred me to Dr. Monica Zell assuming we were going to discuss ending my life. When sharing personal things in my life she assumed the worst. I was sent to a mental hospital for 10 days at a place called Aurora in Covina, CA. I was treated badly at that mental hospital which also refused medications and my immunotherapy treatment. All this was to make me look like I was a patient who gave them problems when the doctors aren’t taking responsibilities for their wrongdoing. They screwed up. So, my care was “done” by Dr. Steve Siegel. On paper it stated I chose to seek elsewhere. In our meeting they completely ended all my appointments, all my cancer treatments, all my doctors, and access to getting medications I need for the rest of my life. Everything was cancelled before the meeting so it didn’t make sense talking it out. My records show no indication problems with doctors. It’s just a cover up like with Dr. George Tyndall. And if you go to make a complaint against doctors, that’s how you get kicked out leaving you to fend for yourself looking for help they didn’t give.

Dr. Lenz’s is an alright guy he’s world class at getting his patients just the right amount of chemo to not kill his patients quickly (even though chemo only increases your chances of survival by 1%) and makes sure the drug companies get plenty of money before the chemo ultimately ends the patient. But be sure your family member doesn’t end up with complications from surgeries they had during chemo because once your family member does quit chemo because they found better alternative treatment they won’t touch you to give you life saving procedures. My mom had quit chemo to move forward with safer alternative treatments, but she had had a stent placed previously, but thereafter quit chemo but when it was time to get it replaced and my mom had an appointment Talin, Dr. Lenz’s minion, turned our mom away when another doctor was already looking for a bed for her in that hospital. This then caused my mom to get sepsis and further infections which ultimately lead to her demise because other hospitals wouldn’t touch another doctor’s work to replace the stent. This is because our mom was on Medicare and of course hospitals don’t get much money once you quit chemo so why do a simple procedure if you won’t get much money for your hospital for it, right? So they basically let her die. World class team right there.

Had urological surgery on 8/25/17. I stayed overnight. Presurgery nurse was wonderful. Recovery nurse was good. My first nurse once I reached my room , Antwanne (sp ?) was great. The rest of my stay went down hill fast. Night Nurse Admitted it was her first shift in hospital and she didn't know how to operate any equipment. It was burning up in my room and temperature was not adjusted until an hour before discharge. All meals were liquid though it was clearly stated I should be on Normal diet. Second day nurse was nonexistent . I was to be released between 10 and 12. I left at 2 30 only because my wife threatened to take me out herself. I was refused any wash cloths or towels to wash off. My wife found some in linen closet. 80 percent of my stay postsurgery was a nightmare.

The absolute worst facility. This program is not run in a way that feels safe or conducive to healing. Absolutely terrible. I’ve almost been given expired chemo, my appointments always take hours longer than necessary, and the communication between staff is almost non existence. Patients are left to run around and try to make things run properly themselves.
