The 3-man crew from Best Lanscaping & Construction were truly excellent. Arrived at 8am every day, worked tirelessly (during a mini heat wave) with an attention to detail and professionalism throughout the ten days our project took (it was A LOT of stonework!). I can highly recommend Best Landscaping for their quality of work, fair pricing and rock solid communication from Ricardo and Abel. We will definitely be hiring them again for any future landscaping or outdoor construction projects. Project Details: Added a 17'x17' irregular flagstone patio and walkways in front and around the side of our house, refaced the concrete retaining wall at the front of the house, re-pointed our exisitng patio pavers where they had sunk, buried drainage under the stone walkways.

Abel and team did a great job building a 4 foot retaining wall and fence in our backyard in DC. As the project progressed, it became clear that some modifications needed to be made to the project - Abel's team worked with us to make sure we built within the guidelines of the approved drawings we had from the city while making the necessary modifications. I'd highly recommend working with Best Landscape & Construction!

We contracted with Best Landscape & Construction to install three drains in our yard. One was installed properly and the other two were installed too high to have any real impact. On a subsequent visit we requested them to come out and review the incorrect drains as well as quote on additional work. When they saw the incorrectly installed drains they acknowledged they were not at the right height and that they would correct their error. When we decided to not go ahead with the other work they became non-responsive to our requests to fix the two incorrect drains. I cannot recommend this business.

Abel is fantastic to work with. You can reach out to him with any questions and concerns, and he will respond promptly. His crew, especially Alex and Frank really did a great job and our new driveway, walkway and garden bed edging stone. This made our house look fantastic! We have a very LONG driveway which made it more challenging, but Abel and his crew figured it all out. We wanted to get a particular paver for our driveway border, and due to manufacturing lead times, it was a bit difficult to find them Abel went out of his way and found them for us which we were grateful for!! The border was exactly what we wanted. Best Landscaping and Construction are great to work with, from the start of the project, to especially if you need to change something mid job, they are totally willing to work with you, and make it right. I would hire them again, for any stone, concrete and/or patio work. Their prices were good, and Abel was able to stay on budget.

I had an excellent experience with Abel and his team. When we hired this company, we wanted to solve some water issues (my backyard flooded constantly) and we wanted to have a nice place for the kids to play and to hang out. We cannot be happier with the results. This project involved (1) demolition of existing patio and retaining walls, (2) regrading, (3) a new retaining wall and (4) a new patio. As I said, their work was amazing, their prices are good/fair, and I would like to highlight three positive things about this company: (1) they started and finished on time (or close to), which I thought was impossible to find in a contractor. (2) They were very patient and flexible with my work. Given that this was a big project, we had to adjust our plan a couple of times, as we found new issues and understood the water problems better. (3) and definitively not least, this company takes customer satisfaction seriously. This project took place in August 2020, but Abel is still calling me (as of March 2021) to check that everything is working for me. In those phone calls, I have mentioned some details about the work (minor things that are expected in projects are big as mine), and Abel has not hesitated to send someone to fix those small things at no cost (he actually gave me mulch last time he came). This experience me me feel very confident about the quality of their work. In summary, I am very happy to recommend best landscape & construction. A high quality company with good prices that takes costumer satisfaction seriously.

Best Landscape installed a ~480 sq/ft paver patio at our new home. They were professional, worked very quickly, and the finished product is beautiful. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a local patio contractor.

I'm excited about my new backyard Patio. Abel and his team did a good job. However they did not honor the 1 year warranty. I called after Abel tirelessly to come back and re sand patio. He also offered me a discount to seal my patio if I gave his company a good review. Which I didn't mind because I was pleased with the outcome. I held up my end, he did not so I'm have edited my review of Best Landscaping. So I'm re-editing my review of Best Landscaping. Which was not because of workmanship because my Patio turned out great. But because I wasn't able get some follow up work completed. However Best Landscaping did honor their warranty and came through and even gave me an additional discount for my inconvenience. We are so happy with our newly expanded patio. Best Landscaping did a phenomenal job with the design, planning, and installation of our patio, as well as a drainage system to stop flooding in our backyard. The contractors always showed up on time, and left the job site clean at the end of the day. From the start of the project, everything went very smoothly. I was given a very competitive estimate, and the company was always quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. The owner, Abel, was wonderful. He called and checked in often with the builders, and made sure things were going smoothly. When it turned out that we were going to have to make some additional changes, the change in pricing was very fair. When some materials were unavailable due to Covid, Abel worked hard to make sure we were happy with the substitutions. Since the french drain installation, we have had no problems with runoff and flooding. Can't say enough positive things about Best Lansdcaping - 5 star high quality construction and 5 star communication and customer service!

He was able to see my vision for my project and produced an excellent product. His employees were professional and skilled. Abel and his team did a great job on our recent landscaping project. We live in a DC rowhouse, and they transformed both the front and back of our home, including installing artificial turf, a patio, rock gardens, and a brick walkway to the front door. Not only was the work done well, but Abel also assisted with the design process throughout. When there were small changes we wanted to make during the project, he accommodated our requests without issue. His team also completed an indoor tiling project for us, which turned out very well. We recommend Best Landscape & Construction and would work with them again.

Able and his crew recently tore down and built up a new retaining wall and steps at my home. Able detailed for me the work that needed to be done and gave me a fair price. He explained I needed a french drain and regrading of the hill behind the wall. His men were hard workers and respectful, answering my questions. Able came out several times to oversee the progress of the work. They cleaned up all the debris. The wall and steps are beautiful. I highly recommend Best Landscape and Construction.

Best Landscaping did a phenomenal job installing my permeable paver patio! The result even is better than I could have hoped for!!!! Anival, Juan, and Emmanuel went above and beyond with every little thing, and finished in just a few days. Communicating with Ricardo was very easy and clear the whole way through, and the price was fair. It turned out beautifully, I can’t stop going outside to look at it lol. Abel and Ricardo were amazing to work with and their team delivered an excellent product for us. Not only is our patio fantastic, but the crew were very respectful and diligent and all around a pleasure to have while they completed their work. We had a retaining wall of simple stacked cinderblock from probably the 1960s that was completely falling apart and a fence in similarly terrible shape. Abel and his crew did a phenomenal job of demolition and reconstruction. After it turned out the property line was too close to the driveway for original plans, they proposed and implemented a portion of the wall in poured concrete that worked out perfectly. Their prep work in particular blew me away -- I fully expect this retaining wall to last long after we're gone. The estimate was reasonable, they took care of the troublesome county permit for us, and their problem-solving was fantastic. We'd heartily recommend them!

Best experience EVER!!! I had my driveway and sidewalk done. The workers were very pleasant and most of all punctual. The company held my hand through every step of the process. I could not have asked for a better experience.

I had Best Landscaping come out to quote a patio replacement and a new shed base. They have a ton of experience and suggested a great solution for my space. I needed the patio slope re-graded away from the foundation and a level base built into a slope in a narrow corner of my yard. They were willing to work with my housing co-op's permit system and rules, provided lots of documentation, started work promptly, always cleaned up tidily, and were polite even when one of my neighbors decided to be rude. I work odd, long hours and I found them incredibly responsive to texts and requests for meetings around my schedule. I wish working with contractors was always this easy. My neighbors (the friendly ones, anyway!) have all complimented me on how it looks. I'll be recommending Best Landscaping & Construction to anyone looking for outdoor work done impeccably (and insured and licensed).
