My family has taking our dogs to Veterinary Medical Center for several decades. They have always provided excellent care to our animals from annual visits to boarding, vaccinations, new puppies, medications, surgeries and even having to say final goodbyes to our older dogs. They have great pricing, superior customer service and have a very educated staff. I highly recommend DR. ANDRAS TIGYI. Two thumbs up!

We’ve been with the Veterinary Medical Center for years. Other vet told us they believed my fur baby needs an operation to find out where his tumor is even though they can’t see anything on all the scans which cost us over a thousand dollars by the way. They said even by surgery they’re not sure if they can find anything or cure him, or, cure him but quality of his short remaining time (about year or so given he’s 11 already) will not be good. My husband decided to bring him back and not treating him for some wild guess. Dr Gaston, however, thinks it’s just the old age Arthritis with the low sugar level. He gave him a week medication and some energy treat. He’s now my baby again at 13 years of age and getting better each day. The doctors and staff there are most responsive, professional, and caring. They haven’t disappointed us a bit over the years! If there’s no accident, we’ll be staying with them till forever and ever!

This place is THE best to care for your pets. They saved our dogs while out of town and they got pneumonia from Puppy Haven. Will never use anyone else. They helped us with our senior dogs until the end and they have fantastic staff! Their hours are a really convenient too. Our pups love them and we do too!

Our dog had a broken tooth yesterday. It’s memorial weekend so only a few vet offices are open. We are so lucky to find this place. Dr. Joe is very knowledgeable and experienced. All the staff here are super friendly. We will definitely come back for other checks. It’s the best vet visit we have ever had. Highly recommend!

This was our first visit. We had to put our beloved 14 year old dog down. They bent over backwards to get us in on a busy Sunday. I can’t say enough good things about VMC. The doctor and staff were caring to us and to our dog, explaining everything thoroughly. After Dr. Joe gave the injection and Payton was gone, he asked us what she was like. It would have been easy for that practice to sock it to us financially. They did not. I have a long standing relationship with my regular vet, and she’s also a good friend. However, VMC is my new go to vet for weekend emergencies. I enthusiastically recommend this practice.

Update: 1 year later, they cared for another of our guinea pigs. The care and attention they showed to our S'mores (and me) were beyond measure. I can't recommend this clinic enough. This team is incredibly thoughtful and caring. I brought my sick guinea pig, Ruby, in for care and they went above and beyond to treat her. If I could give them 100 stars I would.

Can’t say enough good things about Dr Joe Gaston! Has been our primary vet for years and now our children being their pets here too. As I said, we believe these people are extraordinary!

My new rescue dog was a new patient who needed to be seen because she wasn’t doing well. They kindly saw her right away. They were very friendly, welcoming and thorough with her examination. I’ve been back cents and received the same wonderful treatment. Highly recommend them for all your veterinary needs

I had a good experience with the staff here during an extremely difficult time with a sick pet. Dr Minnick was very compassionate with my situation and realistic about my rabbit’s prognosis, and I felt she put his quality of life first, which is very important to me. Everyone was courteous and I would visit this practice again.

After calling on a Friday morning my vet's office for the past 15 years and them telling me they only have an appointment for my cat who is in serve pain and distress on a Tuesday! I reached out to friends and started calling their vets. The only one who agreed to see us right away was Veterinary Medical Center. They could not have been more compassionate and professional. Their treatment was above and beyond! Needless to say, I have left my previous vet and moved here with all three cats.

I am so happy with the services I received from this animal hospital. Dr Ferguson has treated my dogs Lucy and Bizzy, and also my kitty Oliver. I boarded Ollie for a long time, and all the staff members were so kind and so sweet to not only my pet, but myself included. It is also nice that my kitty Ollie has no trauma from being boarded for months on end. My kitty is happy to be home, and is as loving as he was before boarding. That itself is a testament to the wonderful treatment he received while in the care of this veterinary clinic. I can’t write enough good things about the staff or the veterinarians. Thank you so much for treating Ollie with love, care and more importantly, understanding. I know kitties are hard, especially kitties who are grouchy, and I truly appreciate the time you took to make Ollie comfortable and the temporary housing you provided was impeccable.

They are the best. I have 5 dogs and anytime I needed to get in they would make it work. Once you enter the building you feel welcome, and checked in quickly. I can’t say enough about the doctors they are all so easy to talk to and they take all the time you need. Lastly, their hours are great, open every day!! Because whenever my dogs get sick it’s always on the weekend!

My husband and have brought our pet family to the Dr's Gaston since 1994!! We trust their expertise, love and kindness. We've lost 2 pets to age and disease. Though hard to face, the careful way we were treated was exceptional. We now trust our little terrier mix rescue dog into their capable hands. We wouldn't take her anywhere else!!!

What a professional Vet Center! Their medical care is par none! The staff is always responsive and friendly. My adult son is deaf and has other challenges. They have no problem in immediately wiping of the white board to communicate with him. They understand him and are patient with him. I sometimes have to wait on hold a while. I just wait a few minutes and call back. I then get right through. It's worth it!

When I needed to help my cat transition on a Sunday on short notice, as a new patient, they were so gentle, understanding, kind and accommodating. They got me in right away and made everything easy as it could be, with compassion and patience for me and my fluffy companion. It was reassuring to have the doctor agree it was time, and to have it acknowledged that it was merciful. You can tell by the comfortable space and ease of clients that this is a great vet. Too bad they aren’t local to me, or I would bring my other pet here.

Was recommended to this vet by a friend! Needed a new one after moving across the state. My dog had been sick for a couple days, that prompted me to call them. They got my dog in the next day and there was no wait time. I was immediately seen by the vet who made sure my dog was comfortable during the exam. She was very knowledgeable and was able to release my dog in 30 minutes with proper medication and foods to help her feel better. A day later and my dog is back to her normal self. Will definitely stay with this vet office from now on, the entire staff was very friendly and super helpful.

Had to make the extremely difficult decision to put down our 15 year old family member. The staff was wonderful and compassionate. Dr Gaston gave us comfort in the process. While this wasn’t our standard vet, we will be moving our other pets to his office. Impressed and sad, very conflicting emotions.

This is by far the best veterinary center I've ever been to. They are fairly priced and attentive to their clients needs and wants. You will be treated with respect here. They are always kind,caring and sympathetic of my pups. The only thing I wish I could change is that I started going to them sooner.

I was referred to Veterinary Medical Center Alpharetta by Melissa Furbish, shortly after relocating to the area. She talked about the personal care shown by the staff and doctors towards her pets. Soo I made an appt for my tiny toy poodle who shakes severely whenever he visits the vet. (He no longer shakes when I take him here!) From the greeting whenever we walk in the front door by the admin staff/vet techs to the great interpersonal skills of every veterinarian we’ve seen, this place is a very hands on, very caring and personal vet center! Neither me or my pup are anxious about vet visits anymore!! I love this place!! If you’re looking for a veterinarian, don’t hesitate to visit Veterinary Medical Center Alpharetta!!

I was in town for the weekend and one of my dogs was sick and needed to see a vet. I was lucky to find Veterinary Medical Center which was open on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend and got me in at opening without any appointment. I did not have a wait at all and the vet provided us with great care for a very reasonable price - less than a typical visit at my local vet in Nashville! Would definitely use this practice if I lived nearby.

We had a really great first experience with Veterinary Medical Center! The front desk staff were all nice and got us back to a room really quickly. We had our two dogs and our cat there so not having to wait in the waiting room was really helpful for us. Our tech Celeste was very friendly and our cat (who is not keen on the vet) loved her! Dr. Cook was very thorough on all three of their physical exams and answered all of our questions. The pricing was much better than the last vet we visited which was an added bonus. Really happy we found such a great places for all of our baby girls!

Have enjoyed our experience with VMC for years. Compassionate and knowledgeable vets and staff. And the extended hours (evenings and weekends) are such a plus!!
