No Kidding, the tastiest Afghan-Food you will ever get in Sacramento-Roseville area Since I tried it the first time, I became a regular customer whenever I wanted Afghan food Never mind the level of the service, they could do better to be honest, but the foooood is way better than any other afghan restaurant I have been too

The food here is beyond delicious. I got the curry chicken & I forgot the other item. The bread comes with it. I love the food. Customer service was also good. It's all good with me 👌🏽 I will be returning.

This is the best hidden gem in Sacramento. The food is very fresh and delicious here, compared to all the other restaurants that we have been to in the area. We ordered Mantoo, Chicken Kabob(cooked to perfection with excellent spices), and our favorite Qabili Palaw (It is a traditional rice dish with carrots, raisins, and a lamb shank cooked to perfection on the top of it. This was a highlight for the table). The spices they use can't be more authentic, and just the right perfect amount. The owner and staff treated us very respectfully and provided the best customer service during our visit. Amazing quality and service. The area is a bit rough, but the place itself is clean and absolutely worth the drive. We will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves to try new and authentic food.

Amazingly authentic soulful food and people. The people running the place are kind, courteous and efficient and it shows in the diverse variety of clientele that they get. We were so impressed that we returned in a week and were not swayed by the outside and neighborhood shops. The restaurant is neat and the food is hygienic. They have many awards to prove their hygiene levels & restroom is more proof. So far we have tried chicken kabobs, lamb and chicken curry. All of them exceptional and the right level of spiciness and flavor. This is our new go to and we regularly dine in here!

Aria-Afghan Restaurant Got The Best Afghan Food I’ve Ever Tried In The United States. No, Seriously They Take To Trip To Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Once Your Food Is Served On The Table. Huge Portions, Super Delicious Lamb, Beef, And Chicken. The Spices They Use Are Can’t Be More Authentic, And Just The Right Perfect Amount. Their Appetizers And Dessert Are Phenomenal. And Besides All That I’ve Encountered A Five Stars Customer Service. Highly Recommended! Go Try This Place, And You Won’t Regret It.

This is a world-class restaurant in North Highlands, the kind of place I'm not sure you can find anywhere else in California. If you know you know! Vegetable Mantu and Chapli Kabob are both great, very herbaceous, well seasoned, and served steaming hot. Staff was very kind.

The owner of the place are nice, no question on that. The food are really good, and the proportion is amazing for the price of the food. The only reason why its 4 star not five is because of my first time entering the area I was not really appetized. As I walk in I want to smell the food being cooked in the back, with the aroma seeping in and not cleaning supplies. Also, their was not enough tissue that I got, the only tissue i got was the one that came with the knife and fork. However, I would go there again. With those flaws, there food is really good.

Not so good anymore 😕 portion is getting small and kabob are dry and cold. And white ranch is not same as iys used to be. Used to be the best afghan restaurant but last couple time visits were not so good.

All the food is amazing, the rice however just takes the show. Food is served freshly prepared and delicious and that’s why it may take a little wait but so worth it. I could eat here all the time because it’s delicious and healthy

It's quite pricy for the portion that they serve. The food tasted good but their Pita is just non-edible cold rubber.

Very friendly restaurant felt very welcomed. I had the mantoo veggie, had lots of flavor and was just enough to curb my hunger. Was very light on the stomach. Would recommend if you’re looking for a taste of afghan with friendly service

The food is good and prices are good. They area is okay and seating is very basic. This is the kind of restaurant where you will get good quality and good option for take away or delivery. Not great for dinning

This place deserves ten stars for one dish alone: the Qabili Palaw, a magically braised lamb shank hidden under dirty basmati rice and stewed carrots and raisins. Served with a side of stretchy flatbread and a small cup of tangy green sauce, the lamb completely steals the show. Touch it with your fork and plates of melt in your mouth ruddy, juicy, lamb-y meat sloughs off and awaits scooping. The subtle saltiness brings out every molecule of delicate meaty flavor without a hint of gaminess or toughness. This is absolutely the most masterful preparation of any meat I have ever had. The poor green sauce sits neglected and forlorn despite it's wonderful balance, simply because I can't bear to sully the unforgettable experience of this meat.

Every. Single. Dish. Was an absolute FOODGASM. I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had a meal this good. So many layers of perfect spices and flavors. Truly an incredible place.

Great place! Very authentic experience! Service was fine, just a little awkward. Definitely recommend this place though. We tried the triple meat dish. Loved it!

Wow amazing food! Chicken and chapli kabob was very lean with flavor! My spot when I’m in Sacramento

Food was ok at best. We ordered the triple combination kabob, mantoo and beef gyro. The rice tasted funny, the beef gyro tasted like MRE meat and the mantoo is over rated. It tasted like any beef dumpling with a lot of onions in it. Am I coming back? No.

A MA ZING! I had a combo plate. I experienced flavors so good that I am now checking out Afghan spices and cooking culture. The rice was beyond wonderful and even the tea was just a little different from what I have experienced. Worth a trip to visit this basic little place. From the traffic through the door there were many getting take away trays for Sunday dinner. If you want to experienced Afghan food, worth a trip to check it out.
