Having a true kayak launch makes the day so nicer. By muddy or sandy feet trying to get the kayak in and out. I don't have the best upper body strength but it's easy for me to use.

The kayak launch is awesome. Rollers to launch and dock your kayak with absolutely no hassle. Just be aware that the rocks around the launch can harbor snakes. Most are water snakes however I did see a copperhead snake which was verified by my friend who was with me. I know my poisonous snakes and my buddy does too. Just be cautious around the launch.

It's definitely a nice lake to kayak. The launch is definitely helpful and the location is pretty clean and well kept.

It had been a long time since I went around Cowan lake. When I was younger my grandmother and grandfather on property right next to the lake so we frequently was there. The place is done a 100% complete flip It used to be really nice and well taken care of now it looks like a zombie apocalypse has happened

Very easy to launch a kayak and very safe. Parking lot is very close . Enjoy your time.
