😠 This kennel is the absolute worst! I had taken my dogs here for years but once I started working there, things changed. Gary, THE ACTUAL OWNER, is a very nice man. He's willing to listen and actually cares for the animals. Kat on the other hand is a whole nother story. She is rude, dismissive and on... People often mention dogs, home, years, time, days, owner, staff, great,

This kennel is the absolute worst! I had taken my dogs here for years but once I started working there, things changed. Gary, THE ACTUAL OWNER, is a very nice man. He's willing to listen and actually cares for the animals. Kat on the other hand is a whole nother story. She is rude, dismissive and only cares about money. She never actually walks through the kennel and interacts with the animals. This place is definitely not what it could be and I will be spreading the word to anyone and everyone not to use this kennel.

As noted by many reviews on here, the manager is unprofessional. Her tone of voice and lack of respect should have been the sign to walk away. I didn’t read these reviews until after I decided to cancel our reservation, but I wish I had. I was repeatedly spoken down to in a rude and demeaning voice about bringing in an older dog. This occurred during the initial phone call, during an initial assessment appointment, and even went as far as her making a call 3 days before our trip to warn me that they might turn me away at drop-off based on another mobility test that they would perform. Note, I brought our dog in and paid for for an “assessment” a few weeks prior where she had a chance to see that our dogs’ mobility is still great. I told her that the constant harassing about my dogs age was very hurtful to which she replied that maybe I need to find somewhere else to care for my dog. The owner Gary was very nice and easy to deal with, as were the techs, but if the manager speaks with such discontent towards humans I have no confidence that my dog would be well cared for. In reading the reviews, it sounds like I dodged a bullet.

I haven't boarded my three dogs at this kennel. I tried to set things up for a seven night stay, but a lady named Kat made it very difficult. We uploaded vaccination records per their request. They were from Good Neighbor Vet, a mobile vaccination clinic that meets at Haggen grocery stores. The initial paperwork that you receive at the time of service is all handwritten. We didn't have any other copy than this. We were told by one of the employees named Amber, that these were unacceptable. My wife wrote over one of the dogs names to make it more legible because the scan was of a carbonless copy. When I spoke to Kat, she was very rude and abrasive one she spoke. I felt that I was being blamed for making it an issue for how the documents were scanned and that she is suspicious of people doing things fraudulently. That is not good customer service, especially to someone that is never used your service and could easily be a continued customer. I have read numerous reviews about them online and many have stated that Kat is very rude. So, I think it would be good for her to find a better way of communicating with their customers and leave the attitude at home.

We have always loved this place we’ve had past pets come for grooming and boarding. They treat my current dog with lots of love, they know us and our dog by name instantly. With this past experience, my guy came home extra hungry even though my wife paid for food for him. He looked a bit frazzled or overwhelmed. Usually he’s super happy although tired, but he wasn’t his normal come home from a play day self. Last I heard, something happened with the groomer so he couldn’t be scheduled for grooming. Maybe it’s something with the staff & Covid effecting everything. I don’t have too many negatives with this place in particular I just know they’re not at their top tier. I hope that it gets better for them.

I'm not rating their services because I've never brought my dogs here. I live in the neighborhood and I hear dogs barking all day and most of the time during the night as well. I've tried multiple Dog Day Care facilities throughout the years and never heard this level of noise. Unfortunately I cannot upload videos to give a sense of noise level

Tails-A-Waggin' has been great so far. We have been using them since November and had some separation anxiety with one of our huskies. They were willing to work with her and have been incredibly professional. I would definitely recommend them as they are also one of the more affordable establishments in the area.

We are incredibly pleased with Tails-A-Waggin’! We have been using them for boarding for about 5 years now. I honestly don’t understand why they have such awful reviews. The staff obviously loves animals and are always super friendly and knowledgeable. They are even understanding of any special requests we have. We had a Siberian Husky who sadly has passed now, but he loved going. He was always so happy when he got to go to Tails-A-Waggin’ and happy when he got home. We also have a 13 year old Pomeranian that we take to them. She is always happy when she goes to them as well. She has gotten a little grumpy in her old age and doesn’t like interacting with other dogs so much anymore, but she loves human interaction so she requires quite a bit of human attention. They understand that, and they always offer to give her extra loving which is so comforting to us. Our pups have never been overly hungry or thirsty when we get them home which shows us that they were properly fed and given plenty of water during their stay. And the price is very reasonable. Overall, we are EXTREMELY satisfied with Tails-A-Waggin’ and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a good place to board their fur babies.

5 visits later, always had a pleasant experience with the staff and my dog returned in good health. UNTIL... I met the owner this last time around, my dog now has a fungal skin infection, an administered dose of meds not authorized by me, 2 days without eating or potty after pick up. Too keep it short they did not inform of any discrepancies prior to dropoff. Took it upon themselves to do as they pleased, then thought they could charge me for it. Good try. The owner saw no issue with their own processes failed, tried to place fault solely on me. No attempt to find middle ground even though his own business screwed up. If it wasn't for the remarkable staff I'd give 1 Star. Either way I won't be back nor recommend them. Everyone will know their pets are not safe here

Staff is great but the owner Cat is terrible to deal with. Saw discrepancy on my invoices and I complained and asked for my invoices. She called me and said I was harassing her employees and I was not to ask for the invoices or I would be kicked out. Told me if you don’t trust us then take your dog else where. Spoke to the employees and non of them had felt I harassed them. Today I got notice saying I have no more days and I haven’t paid for my days but I just paid Monday. Had to pay for 1 day today but it will be my last. I don’t understand why she would not let me have my invoices, I can’t track the exact days I have because I wasn’t allowed too. If Cat would just do business right this place could be great. Cat is literally the rudest lady I have ever met and I really don’t think she should be running this place. She is never there and it seems like she treats this business as just a money grab. Really feel bad for her employees because they are great.

This week I had the need for an emergency boarding of a family member's 2 large dogs. Two days before a holiday weekend, Kat(owner), took my call, said she could help and guided me through what I needed to do to get them prepared and into the facility. When I arrived this morning to a bustling lobby, Kat and her staff calmly assisted me and their regular clients get checked in swiftly and accurately. Recently, I have personally experienced and have heard other's woes about a lack of customer service with various businesses as everyone is short staffed and struggling these days; so when I experienced a company that was so willing to go out of their way and out of normal process to assist me in a time of need I wanted to make sure that I shared my experience. Oh and the facility is clean, and lovely I will sing their praises and return myself in the future. Thank you Kat and staff for your kindness and professionalism, you truly don't know how it has helped me.

My Cavapoo, Rufus and my family, are a HUGE fan of Tails-A-Waggin' Inn!! It is such a huge help to be able to have a doggie-daycare because I work from home and don't have the time to play with him all the time. The staff is wonderful and he gets so excited when I tell him he's going to play with his friends, today! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! :)

I've been taking my rescue pit mix here for 8-9 years even though we've moved an hour north it's still the only place I'll take her. She's a nervous wreck at baseline and hates men so boarding her anywhere was extremely nerve wracking for me. She loves it there even though for many years one of the main employees we'd drop her off to was male. He was so determined to get her to like him he (with our permission) spent extra time with her every time she was there and was so patient and kind with her. Eventually she warmed up to him and would go right in even when he was checking her in. Even in her old age dhe's hardd to wear out but she's always clean and tired when she comes home, they do a wonderful job.

I left my cat with them over Thanksgiving week. He was howling all the way home wanting me to take him back. Their prices are fair and everyone is super nice.

I didn't deal with or talk to anyone, my partner did and mentioned that they seemed disorganized. We boarded. We were going out of town on Sunday, coming home Monday, but this place doesn't accept pets on the weekend. So we had to drop off our dog Friday evening for a pick up Monday afternoon. That felt like a money grab but we we desperately trying to board her. So we did it. When we picked her up, her ears were back, she looked timid. When we got our bag of dog food back (which had the amount and the frequency written on the bag) I asked if she ate because it didn't seem like much food had been used. He said that she was fed 2 times a day vs the 3 written on the bag. I fed her that evening and my dog slept. All night. All the next day, and a little in the following morning. I don't know if she was too anxious to sleep or if other dogs were barking keeping her up or she was treated poorly, I know nothing. But I do know that I'll pay more for somewhere else, unfortunately our options were limited because she wasn't fixed yet, but I'm getting her fixed asap so we have options.

Our puppy loves it here. She goes to doggy daycare every day and is always excited. Thank You Tails-A-Waggin team for taking such great care of our little princess.

I worked for a vet. hospital for 14 years and we reccomended Tails-a-waggin to our customers. I personally have been using them for 30 plus years. Even with the owner selling to a new owner I have always had very good service and care for my dogs. I have bully dogs and have never had any issues with boarding. None of the 9 dogs I have boarded with them over the years have ever had any issues, they all love going to visit their "friends" at Tails A Waggin.

They took care of my dog and cat one several occasions. The dog and cat both came back home happy and healthy. When I am picking them up i can always hear my little dog braking and playing with the other small dogs.
