A nice blast from the past. The volunteers are great and knowledgeable. Some of the structures are rebuilt, but are some original structures. They are all still fairly representative of the period. It is nice to have a little of history of the area given in a active experience. Read about the Whiskey Rebellion, and you’ll start to read and see the names of places, roads, and buildings.

My fiance and I had our maternity photos shot here back in 2016. This place is a hidden gem in South Park.

I’ve been there multiple times! Wonderful atmosphere, super clean, and kid friendly! The volunteers are super knowledgeable and you can talk with them to learn more about the history of the times and locally or just look around at stuff. Neat experience.

We came on an "open house" day. The people here were so very nice and informative. My husband and kids enjoyed learning about its history!

If it's open, don't miss seeing the second floor. The volunteer blacksmith is very knowledgeable, so don't hesitate to ask questions.

Great place to take the kids and to teach them about early American history and the whiskey rebellion.

My grandchildren loved writing with quill and ink, making a church baby, a whirly Gig, and tin smithing plus colonial games

Great place to learn about local history! Kid friendly and fun. They have different events at least once a month and there are tons of things to see!

Steeped in history! Love this place, especially during an encampment. We brought our kids here, now we brought our grandkids.

I went with a friend and our kids (age 6-9) for the Thanksgiving event, and it was very cool!

This site was renovated with additional structures added. It may generate much discussion among those interested in restoration of historic places. Personally, I have conflicting thoughts about this type of restoration, so I cannot rate high or low. There are many historical reenactments associated with this site of the Whiskey Rebellion. This, I think, is important in passing on historical information connected to the land.

This area of the park is my favorites! I did one of their Sunday events and you really can't beat the price for the experience. They are so informative and nice! These events are perfect for all ages. I really enjoyed visiting the homestead.
